Your reason for joining: *will put it in the bio but* After her 3rd Bar Brawl in a month, Auron, her captain at the time, orders her to Squad 7 for mandatory Anger Management. Auron believed that Seri's unique skills in dealing with anger would benefit Vera a great deal more than stripping her of her rank and sending her off to prison, which was the recommended course of action, though Vera doesn't know about that part.
