Jade's room is very bright and reflects her powers. The walls are a cloud blue with white clouds painted on them. She did this because she wanted to sleep in the clouds. She has a wooden trunk, at the foot of her bed that she keeps gifts and letters from her mother. She has a pale, wood desk that she keeps her laptop and school things on. She has a special printer that prints both braille and text so she can read her assignments and her teachers can read the ones she turned in. There is a large, blue, cushioned area rug in her bedroom and several shelves on her wall that hold her books and other trinkets. She has been at the school long enough to also have some paintings on her wall. The largest is a painting of a sun setting over the ocean.

Han led Jade through the halls and to her dorm room. He used her key to open the door.
Casper came bounding towards them, excited and confused. "It's alright," Han said knowing that Casper was smart enough and protective of his companion. "Help her find her things, we're going on a trip."
Han wasn't going to say anything but it almost seemed as if Casper nodded at him. He let go of Jade's hand, knowing that she knew her own room well enough. "I'm going to see if Forge will come here," he told Jade and returned to his phone. They needed to leave soon.

  Please Don't Stop the Music ♬ ♪ Jade let Han lead her to her dorm room where Casper greeted them with confusion in his step. Jade could almost feel her furry companion's concern for her. He knew when something was wrong and was protective of Jade. He was a very good friend and guide.
Jade smiled as Han spoke to the husky. She heard Casper scamper off and drag a suitcase from under her bed. She had forgotten where it was because she hadn't needed it for some time. "Oh, Casper," Jade said and gave the dog a light embrace, around his neck. Casper let her and then offered her the short handle to his harness, to guide her around the room and school if need be.
"Thank you, Casper," Jade said with a smile as she took the offered aid and listened to Han talk to Forge on the phone. "Would you get a towel from the bathroom?"
Casper scampered off, glad to help but still wondering what went wrong that Jade wasn't in class. And where was her stick?

Han finished talking with Forge on the phone. The inventor agreed to bring the staves to Jade's room so she could choose which one she wanted to keep, for the moment and she wouldn't have to walk far without one. He left the door to Jade's dorm open so that Forge could just walk in and so that anyone who passed would know that nothing was going on between them.
Han watched Casper walk out of the bathroom with a towel in his mouth. The only thing that he could think of was that he was glad the dog didn't drool. "I'll grab your soaps and stuff," Han announced, knowing that Jade kept them in the bathroom and he didn't want her to fall and hurt herself.
Forge appeared in the doorway of Jade's dorm, in almost no time at all with about five staves in his arms. "Special delivery," he announced as Casper barked a warning that someone new was in the room.
"Hello, pup," Forge greeted the dog as he moved past the furry creature. He went about explaining the features of each staff as he handed each one to Jade so she could see what she liked best.

Please Don't Stop the Music ♬ ♪ Jade took the towel from Casper's jaws and placed it, gently in her suitcase, before moving to gather some of her clothes. She nodded when Han announced that he would gather her soaps from the bathroom. She didn't mind him helping because he never did it because he thought she couldn't. He only helped so that she wouldn't get hurt. He always had the best of intentions, unlike some others who seemed as if they thought she couldn't, because she was blind.
Casper barked a warning. A short, non-threatening bark and Jade looked towards the shadowed figure of Forge. "Hello," she greeted. She listened patiently to the descriptions of each staff as she traded one for the other, until Forge was finished talking.
She liked the weight of the blue staff with silver tips. It sounded good, when it tapped the floor. She moved it in the air and decided that she could fight, easily, with it. The perk of having a staff, she always had a weapon. This staff, in particular, was a light weight, durable metal that held a chain that could extend and one of the tips could turn into a point, similar to a knife. Forge described it as a weapon similar to Ivy's, a character from a fighting game.
Jade laughed. "It sounds wonderful. I'll take it!"
"Excellent choice," Forge exclaimed as his eyes danced, clearly happy with the choice that she had made. "I'll be leaving now, but you have a wonderful trip and keep Han out of trouble."
Jade nodded and finished her packing, now able to move around the room easily, with the aid of her new staff.

Han listened to Forge explain the details of each staff. The man was a genius! Han couldn't understand how some of the tricks of each staff could fit in them, but somehow, Forge managed to do it.
"I the we are ready," he said as he helped Casper get into his vest that labeled him a 'seeing-eye-dog' so that he would be able to accompany Jade on the plane and in any place that they visited.
"Time to catch a plane."
Han grabbed Jade's suitcase and led everyone out of her room. He was able to grab his suitcase from his room across the hall.
