He showed her the swimming pool, the basketball court and the hedge maze. The last stop on the tour was the garden. Some people liked it, others could care less. He wondered which one Kali would be.
"This is our garden," he said as he led Kali to a stone bench, by the roses. "Some of the students take care of it but Orroro likes to garden."
Han shrugged and glanced at the sky. The sun was beginning to set and clouds began to fill the sky. It looked like it was going to be a rainy night.

Annihilation will be unavoidable
Kali let Han lead her through the mansion. She didn't show much interest in anything that he showed her, inside. She made a mental note, to remember where the library was because she knew that there were always books in a library and books are what she learned from.
They walked by her dorm room, which Han had noted was across the hallway from his. It looked plain, but even the outside looked much better than what she was used to.
She followed Han outside and patiently listened to him as he talked about all the things that they were allowed to do and things that they weren't. She tensed up, more, when they neared the swimming pool. She wouldn't even go in the gate. There were students all around and she really didn't feel like going for a swim. Her eyes flashed a warning, and then they moved on.
They walked past the basketball courts where Kali watched a couple minutes of a game. Though, it may have been clear that she didn't understand the concept or the point of the game. She shrugged and they moved on.
The garden, sparked some interest. She walked slowly and she seemed to relax. The different aromas of the flowers mixed in the air and fell pleasantly on her senses. Her eyes softened from their cold stare and she sat, slowly, on the stone bench.
"I don't think I have ever seen anything so...beautiful," Kali told Han. In truth, she hadn't. Sure, she had been many places but she never had time to appreciate the beauty and often, she was the one who destroyed it..

Cheng "Han" Yakhimorro ~ Soul Han smiled to himself when Kali seemed to like the garden. "It is beautiful but I can't believe that it is the prettiest thing you've ever seen." He sighed and sat next to Kali, on the stone bench.
"Not many people come to the gardens," Han said. "There isn't much to do here and not many of us can appreciate the beauty. I mean, it's pretty but we don't stop to smell the roses."
Han decided that if Kali could find beauty in anything, besides killing, then she had a good chance of turning things around. Bad habits were always hard to break but he wondered if killing was only a job, to her, and not something that she wanted to do. He wouldn't ask. Not now, maybe not ever. She seemed to relax, a little in the garden, and he didn't want to ruin that..

Kali nodded, making a mental note that not many people came to the gardens. She figured that if she wanted to be alone, for now, this was the place she would come. The garden, or the hedge maze. That was where she would hide if she didn't want to be found. All she had to do was find a picture of the maze and she would remember the path to the middle, for the rest of her cursed life.
Kali glanced away from the garden. The mansion looked so old and so dreary, but at the same time it was full of life. She wondered how something like that could work. She couldn't believe that she was brought here, of all places, and they didn't plan on sending her back. Well...as far as she knew, there were only two people who knew anything about her and she wasn't sure that any of them knew where she was from, exactly.
"Why don't people smell, the roses," Kali asked, honestly. She looked at them as if they were going to bite her. For all she knew, they could. This was, afterall, a place where mutants came to harness their powers. She knew of at least one who had the ability to control plants. "The doors...Are they locked at night," she asked. Her mind was going into overdrive. What if someone tried to find her? What if they already found her. She glanced around. "Maybe we should go inside," she said plainly as she stood up from her seat on the stone bench. "It looks like it is going to rain."

Cheng "Han" Yakhimorro ~ Soul Han studied Kali. She was so relaxed, and suddenly she tensed up. He wasn't sure what she was thinking but he figured that whatever it was, she needed to feel safe. Inside, among mutants, was probably the safest place for her.
Han nodded and took out his bag of chips. It was half empty, or half full, depending on how you looked at it. "Right. Well, the grand tour is over so you can do whatever you like. You can stick around me, or explore on your own."
He shrugged and stood up, either way, he was going to go to the kitchen and grab some more chips((Exit to the kitchen))
