Oɴᴄᴇ Uᴘᴏɴ A Tɪᴍᴇ: •
This story begins on a dark and stormy night...well snowy night. Born to a pair of happy and wealthy people, Seth is the younger of the twins. From the day he was born people have always worried about him. He was very very small when he was born and constantly sick. Doctors figured out early on that he was suffering from major headaches. His parents were diligent with him doing there best to keep him well. Despite that he still was constantly sick. The one person he never seemed to be without was his twin, Aaron. Seth adores his brother and looks up to him a lot, but when he started getting attention from others over his brother, it bothered Seth greatly. He never liked being the center of attention but his 'illness' put him there. On top of that he was born hetrochromia a wonderful mutation that puts him more in the center. Needless to say but he was far from thrilled with that. There were things though that Seth kept secret from everyone, including his twin for the longest time. All his life he has seen a strange aura around people. One will be red...the other blue. From a young age he associated this with those who are good, blue, and those who are bad, red. It always troubled him to see that his brother was encircled with a red aura. Aaron wasn't evil...was he? Tending to shy away from those with red auras, Seth was often deemed a quiet child because of it. The day came though when Seth discovered he could touch another's mind and always found himself seeing if they were really bad people or only kind of bad people.
It wasn't until Seth met the Professor during a blizzard outside of his home that he understood what was going on. The auras weren't for good or bad but for human or mutant. Seth was a living breathing mutant detecting machine. With Xavier's aide he manged to get his powers under control enough to start properly functioning and before the twins knew it they became under the care of the charismatic man. He's lived with the Professor and other members of the X-men for eight years now. The entire construction of the new school gave him a chance to grow close to his fellow telepath and honestly he enjoys the new family he has gained. As time has rolled on Seth's range increased but so did the problems. Often he has to have a mental block put in place by Xavier in order to keep going. This doesn't stop the young mutant from going with the other official members of the team to help find a new student. Just last year though the teen hit a rather low point in his young life. If it was not for Logan, his brother and the Professor Seth wouldn't be alive today. Since then he has felt the steady gaze of those three on him and hopes not to let them down like that again.
Uɴᴅᴇʀ Tʜɪs Mᴀsᴋ: • First and foremost, Seth is a shy boy. He has a hard time not running when crowds of people are around and doesn't tend to be very outgoing. A quiet individual, he prefers to listen to those around then be in the middle of the attention. If he had it his way he would simply stay invisible to most people. It's hard to do that with his current place at the school though. Slowly the closed off boy has started to come out of his shell and tries to be more open with people. He has a friendly nature and a willingness to help anyone who asks it of him. Once his shell is cracked a more playful side appears and people start to see that he is still a kid. Seth has a tendency to keep everything bottled up and does not like to talk about his troubles. He has often thought life would be better if he wasn't a mutant but has only admitted this to Xavier. The young teen is still dealing with the issues that arose a year ago but he is trying to most past it.

Wʜᴀᴛ Mᴀᴋᴇs Mᴇ Sᴘᴇᴄɪᴀʟ: • His eyes. Seth also has a pair of scars on him. One is on the outside of his left hip that he got when he was seven, fell in the forest around his home. There is a long slash like scar on his right wrist. He doesn't like people touching it and most of the time he keeps it covered up.

Thoughts are Power
Telepathy
Seth is a rather strong telepath. His ability to catch another's thoughts and communicate with someone in the same fashion has been about since he was small. It is the first ability he really managed to work with and the only one he knows how to shut off. Through training with Xavier he learned to do several things with what many think is such a simple power. First off he learned to cloak himself from other telepaths or psychic entities. He's very good a masking himself and has begun to learn to cloak others as well but against someone like Xavier he has a long way to go. He cannot keep this up for long unless it's only on himself. Seth's main line of defense when it comes to this power is a psychic blast. By forcing his will outward in 'bolts' he can stun a person causing them large amounts of pain or knocking them unconscious. He is not very strong in this department yet but he is learning to channel his own pain into making the attack stronger. Seth's latest skill has been creating realistic illusions in another persons mind. He's found it very difficult but is still trying. Small illusions he can manage but only for a short period of time. They are nothing like the full on fantasies the Professor can make. Finally the last bonus to being a telepath is how quickly he absorbs information. He is a lover of information sites and has made a game of trying to catch up to the Professor in understanding stuff.
Telekinesis- Able to move things with his mind. It's something Seth really has to work for most of the time and the only time it is strong is when the young mutant is under high emotions.
Human and Mutant Detection- On sight Seth is able to tell if a person is human or a mutant. He sees colored auras around the person and the brighter they are the more 'life' they seem to have. At close proximity he can 'read' the aura and learn quite a lot about the person form powers, emotions, intentions, and to a degree their history. This ability is not something Seth has learned to turn off yet.
