Personality: Throughout the years, Hadassah has been softspoken and quiet, becoming a bit of a recluse due to the teasing she endured. However, in recent years, she's been attempting to break free of her shell, showing herself to be generous and intelligent, even straightforward at times. As Firestarter, she feels secure in being around others and becoming more daring, though she remains focused. Oddly enough, as either Hadassah or Firestarter, she's altruistic and pretty calm... most of the time.
Bio: Hadassah was born in 2012, though her circumstantial birth was anything from joyful, and not only because of World War Three. She was the product of a one night stand between upper-middle class businessman Maximilian Corinth and a prostitute later diagnosed with tuberculosis. Due to the woman's declining health, the mother did not survive the birth, and the child hadn’t been expected to survive either. As for the businessman, he feared being scandalized if the illegitimate child was discovered to be his; therefore, he decided to send Hadassah to be raised by his sister and brother-in-law, believing he had gotten rid of his mistake for good.
Hadassah scarcely flourished under the care of her “mom” and “dad” during her childhood. Despite their love for the child and their initially regarding her as part of the family, they were a bit distant from her considering her disease. Nevertheless, they enrolled her in a public school, aiming to engross her in society instead of hiding her away like a government science experiment. During her childhood, she was constantly teased about her different colored eyes, though her adoptive parents were adamant in keeping her there. She excelled in her classes, though she steadily became a bit withdrawn due to the constant teasing.
It wasn't long before the signs began to manifest themselves during her childhood and teenage years. She never, ever missed a single day of school and remained perfectly healthy while the other kids were gaining the flu, fever, colds, and even the dreaded chicken pox. Any cuts she got during recess were gone in five minutes, and despite sitting in the back of the classroom, she could see the board and hear the teacher without any complications. The signs were nowhere near close to decreasing upon reaching high school: a couple of Bunsen burners nearly blazed out of control whenever she was handling them, her locker door mysteriously melting whenever she touched it, and bullies that laid their hands on her ended up in the nurse's office with second degree burns. As she was walking home from school one day, some of the bullies waylaid her and dragged her into an alleyway. As Hadassah raised her hands to shield herself from the assault of punches and kicks, a couple of fireballs charged within them, launching right at a few of the bullies and inflicting them with third degree burns- one of them having been hit in the face. Hadassah managed to use the opportunity to escape, though not without realizing the painful possibility of her being a New Human. Even more, after she told her parents of the incident, not only did they recognize she was a Numan, but they hesitantly revealed the truth to her: they were not her real parents, only her aunt and uncle.
It took a few months for her to accept the facts, but once she calmed down, she began researching the attributes of fire, and ways to keep it under control. During that time, she figured out how to use it in a variety of ways, and eventually discovering her control over light particles as well. However, she had yet to figure out a way to essentially put her abilities to use instead of sitting on her gifts. With the reports of Numans aiding humans- and some using their abilities for more sinister purposes- Hadassah resolved to become a solitary hero, choosing the name "Firestarter" to distinguish her real life from her vigilante one... notwithstanding the fact that the name "Phoenix" was already taken by a fictional comic book character.
During the years since her early graduation, Hadassah and her family have been elevated to the top of the social class thanks to her father's extensive promotion as CEO of a science and biotech research company, though her main focus has been on her college courses. During the night, she focuses on ridding the streets of criminal activity, including actions being taken against Numans and humans alike. Within her mind is an inner conflict: she wishes to meet with her father and confront him for the first- and maybe final- time, yet she's unsure if she has the courage to do so.

Current Powers:
Pyrokinesis/Fire Manipulation: Hadassah can excite or speed up the atoms surrounding an object or herself, increasing the thermal energy until they ignite. Considering this was the first power she discovered by herself, she can use this power in a greater range: increasing the intensity of the flames to the point where they can become white fire, releasing it in different ways, creating constructs out of fire, and even super-heating the air to create an “air lens” that can block off electricity within a ten foot range. The hotter the flame and the longer she uses it, the more she will wear out.
Light Manipulation: By taking control of or generating the light particles known as photons, Hadassah can use it in a moderate variety of ways. She can bend and shift light to create holographic projections or make herself invisible, create various constructs such as weapons, or even move at light speed.
Enhanced Regeneration: Hadassah can heal from almost any injury faster than a normal human, yet the rate of healing depends on the severity of the injury.
Enhanced Senses: Hadassah's five senses are amplified past normal human range.
Flight: Using her pyrokinesis, Hadassah can create a pair of wings on her back, enabling her to take off, land, and soar through the air without complications. Again, the different types of flames still apply here as well. She uses the standard orange flames almost all of the time to construct her wings.
Future Powers:
Firestorm Creation: Upon creating highly intense heat, Hadassah can release it to create a massive conflagration that will incinerate anything and everything in its path unless extinguished. Unfortunately, without enough practice, and at her current level, doing this even one time is life threatening for Hadassah due to the massive amount of energy used- and just from using the standard orange flames. Using blue or white fire are guaranteed death sentences at this stage, and the flames are uncontrollable once released.
Aerial Adaptation: With enough practice, Hadassah will be able to withstand high and/ or low pressure areas and high wind friction, enabling her to fly and/ or breathe in such areas without much resistance. it is unknown if the vacuum of space would apply, though it is highly unlikely.
Atmospheric Adaptation: With enough practice, Hadassah will be able to adapt immediately to any atmospheric environment. As such, she will be able to breathe any gaseous substance without harmful effects, even being able to breathe non gaseous substances. It may be possible that she can survive in areas with air deficiency, though the extent of this is currently unclear.
Relevant Skills Being a gymnast, Hadassah possesses expert agility, reflexes, and speed. As of lately, she has been practicing parkour and martial arts as stress relievers- and for exercise, along with upgrading her proficiency in swordsmanship and archery. To the dismay of her adoptive parents, she also has a passion for fixing cars and tinkering with them to see how they operate.
Appearance Description/ Picture: Hadassah has an average height of 5‘7“. Her long dark brown hair is usually worn in a ponytail, with her massive bangs covering most of her face, leaving the jaw and lips visible. As for her eyes, each one is a different color: her left eye is dark brown, and her right eye is in a gold color.
Hadassah Corinth: Her hair is usually in a ponytail, and some of her clothing looks like they came from the local Goodwill. This is her usual outfit whenever she's in public as a civilian, though she does wear the high-end fashion designer labels from time to time... when she feels like it. Definitely not something an upper-middle class girl would wear, but she's not complaining one bit. Whenever she reveals her face, her bangs are swept to the right eye, covering it and leaving the left eye exposed.
Firestarter: Inspired by the "knights in shining armor motif often seen in medieval fantasy stories, Hadassah's vigilante outfit resulted being a cross between a knight's armor and a Roman gladiator outfit. Thankfully, it isn't very heavy, and she looks good wearing it. In this outfit, her hair is free-flowing, with her bangs swept to the left side and revealing her right eye.
