Personality: In almost all things, Celene is collected, authoritative, and acts as though she has everything under control. Serving as long as she has in the darkest corners of the government, this is also usually just the case. She has a tendency to be very no-nonsense, often overlooking the feelings of others which causes people to resent her. However, her experience, skill, and underlying sense of good shine through. Her superiors note that, while she may not always follow protocol, the mission always gets done, and that is a majority of her personality. People have referred to her as "heartless", and while she doesn't show it, she deeply regrets many of the actions she takes to reach her ends.
Bio: Born in the year 2000 in Washington D.C., Celene's childhood was narrow in focus; her father being a marshal officer in charge of keeping New Human riots and acts of violence contained sparked a love of the law in Celene from an early age, and inspired her to join the police force. During her school career, she was almost militant in her studies, as well as involving herself in many sports and extracurricular activities. People remarked at how she never seemed to back down from anything she did, and was found still running laps late into the night many times.
Upon graduation, Celene undertook college studies in law as well as Human-Numan relations, and studied rigorously for her police entrance exam at the same time. Once college was out of the way, she took right for the academy, and made it in without question or falter. Her time with the police proved to be a perfect fit for her; physically, mentally, and emotionally, she was the perfect balance. Things changed during an pro-New Human rally which was being held by Normals at the capital. Celene was working security detail, and making sure the bustling crowd remained calm. It was there she first met a woman named Teresa, after arresting her on a botch-charge of public disturbance.
During the few hours Teresa spent in holding, she and Celene talked non-stop trying to understand the others views of the Human-New Human conflict, forging a strange opposites-attract relationship. Even after Teresa was released, the two remained in contact, and ended up in a romantic relationship for the next three years. After three years of dating, Celene proposed, and Teresa accepted, which brought a sort of light into the officer's eyes. She began to notice the sheer volume of crime committed by Normals and Numans alike in the city, and became an unintentional vigilante using her refined physical and deductive skills to hunt down those the law couldn't.
After a one-woman raid on a New Human freedom fighting organization, Celene became a target of several Numan groups, and was nearly assassinated four times. Her vigilante career came to a screeching halt one night, when she returned to find Teresa killed by a New Human who enjoyed forcing his will onto others; making them off themselves in bizarre, grotesque ways. With her love dead, her enemies searching for ways to make her even more miserable, Celene took up arms and hunted down the New Human responsible for her sudden loss of family.
For weeks she hunted, killing any stray thug, Numan and Normal alike, until she found the man responsible. Invoking her final act of revenge was what drew the attention of the New Human Regulation Bureau, a secret facet of the government dedicated to keeping Normals on the same level as New Humans by any means necessary. The NHRB brought her on to see her skills in various parts of the country, and were more than impressed with her skill and drive. During her time in the Bureau, Agent Link became somewhat cold, but could never forget the warmth she'd seen in the world. She never lost her determination to help others and keep them safe, and worked tirelessly on the means to do so, while at the same time punishing those who deserve it.

Relevant Skills (Anything they were taught to do that is not related to powers; i.e. hacking, cooking, survival skills, first aid, etc.): Link is a supremely skilled martial artist, as well as an excellent marksman. She picked up these skills during her police career, honed them further in her vigilante days, and has nearly perfected them during her time with the government's classified New Human Regulation Bureau.
Appearance Description/ Picture: ((Picture)) Celene stands at 5'7", and possesses a lithe, athletic, yet muscled and healthy build, weighing around 145 lbs. She has a head of long, dark red hair, and dark green eyes.
