Gaia Username:
Epic Irony

RP Name:
Robert Maxon Graves aka "The Butcher"

Gender:
Male

Age:
22

Personality:
Aloof and cold to some, cruel and sarcastic to others. He's a bit of a sadistic masochist as well, and while he may help someone if it suits his own purposes, he generally spends most of his time 'looking out for number one.' He's not entirely stable, so reasoning with him isn't always the best option- if it's an option at all. He has various things that will set him off- mentioning the past, showing fear or weakness, for example- and cause him to become increasingly sadistic and violent. Despite his apparent instability, he's cold and calculating in most of his endeavors; whatever serves his purposes best will be more than likely the action he takes. He is prone to impulsive violent fits at time, however, and in a mood such as this there's no telling who he'll lash out at in blind fury.

Bio:
Robert's mother was a high school student in a foreign exchange program spending a year touring Europe with her class when WWIII broke out. She, along with her classmates, were promptly taken hostage and brought to a prison camp; there, the woman endured much abuse. During the year spent in camp she became pregnant with Robert; the father, due to the circumstances of conception, was unknown. A squadron of elite US forces- including Numans- rescued her and her remaining classmates from that prison one fateful day, and returned them to US territory, where all was assumed well.

When Robert was born, his mother immediately put him up for adoption. His grandmother, who was still legally the head of the family due to his mother's being merely 16, went to take the boy back- then she concocted the ultimate lie. She would take on the role of Robert's mother, while Robert's true mother would become his 'sister.' And so he came to know each figure, all the while enduring a secretly abusive relationship from his true mother, who viewed him as a monster- even before he was a freak.

One day during a particularly harsh session of abuse from his 'sister,' she revealed the truth; she was his mother, he was a child born of rape. A mistake. A curse. Something inside him broke at that moment, and so he broke her neck. And stabbed her several times. Then went on to kill his grandmother, carving "LIAR" into her forehead when he was done. And he went on to kill several more people- 32, to be exact- before being confronted by a police squadron and opened fired upon. He received several fatal gunshot wounds, and was promptly carried off to a morgue...

Where he woke up the next day. He killed the morticians and escaped, and began planning his revenge. He was going to climb to the top. He was going to grab the world by the balls... Then twist and pull.

Class:
II

Bone Manipulation- Robert can physically manipulate the bones in his body to various extents and degrees; increasing length or density, changing shape, decreasing density, creating projectiles, etc.

Heightened Strength- Robert's physical, muscular strength is beyond the capability of most (if not all) humans, to make up for the sometimes titanium-like density of his skeleton. He can generally lift a maximum of just over half a metric ton.

Healing Factor- Robert has a healing factor just below the par of the iconic fictional character, Wolverine; evidenced by his ability to survive 'fatal' wounds such as bullets to the head, he is as of right now 'unkillable' by conventional means. He does take physical damage quite regularly, but seems to revel in both his own pain and the pain of his enemies. The healing factor is not perfect, however; despite its capability to 'bring him back to life,' it leaves various scars after the healing process is complete. Also, the time it takes to heal depends on the amount of damage done- for example, if Robert's brain were completely scrambled, it might take a month or more to heal completely- in which time Robert could starve to death. Starving and 'withering away to nothing' is just about the only way to kill this guy, short of throwing him into the sun. And even that's not guaranteed.

Blood Absorption- Due to the nature of Robert's powers, his healing factor and bone manipulation taking quite a bit of extra nutritional sustenance to maintain, he has an additional passive ability to absorb the blood of his victims through contact with his skin, and basically use the nutrients within for himself. He also requires regular Calcium refills from rich sources such as milk.

Relevant Skills:
Robert is quite adept at determining several outcomes to possible events in moments; he's also very, VERY good at adapting already-existing plans due to unforeseen events.

Appearance Description/ Picture:
Robert stands around 6'3", although it can vary greatly because of the nature of his power; he has shaggy black hair and unkept scruffle around his chin, and his nails and skin generally appear a pallid yellow as if suffering from nutrient deficiency. He might be considered skinny, or perhaps lithe and sinewy; but his frame is far from frail, as his powers can attest to. He is also covered in scars, a side-effect of his imperfect healing factor.
