Kuruma *Demon of the Sand*Kuruma set the girl down in the shade the small forest around the oasis provided. He set her against a tree, he figured that she would feel most comfortable there. He stuck his sword in the ground a few feet away, and his scroll floated down next to it. Kuruma walked off towards the small lake, and sat down cross-legged at the waters edge. He pulled off his jacket and shirt and stared at his wound. Dipping his hand into the water, he brought some to the wound, cleaning it off. The wound was fairly deep, it would most likely scar over. He cracked his neck and leaned back, taking in the warm sun. He was waiting for the girl to wake up, he should probably be prepared for an attack, she would react unpredictably, possibly violently.

The desert wind wisped sand across her face and over the desert. Sen laying on the tree in it's shade began to sink into the trunk. In their unconscious state her body subconsciously knew on some level that merging into the tree would speed their healing. Her front half was still exposed to the outside, but their back was now attached to the tree like a turtle's shell.
Her eyes rolled as if having a bad dream, her stanima, chakra, and torn muscles from exerting herself were starting to heal much faster than the average being. Perhaps it was the Senju blood line combined with the help of the tree, but soon her mind began to return. Tensing up, the pain in her head became apparent even before she opened her eyes. There was a scrape on Sen's face where the punch had landed and in the heat mixed with healing it became dry and itchy. Raising a hand to the scab that had already formed Sen's eyes fluttered open as she scratched.
Her gaze shortly after monitoring the situation landed on the back of the mans head. Trying to recollect what was happening she couldn't help, but to notice the pool of water that he sat next to. Weather it was the heat of the desert, or the fight Sen's body was breathless and her mouth was left pasty and parched. Short breaths left in huffs, as she was cautious of the man and contemplated weather or not to go up and get a drink of water.
The longer she stared at the back of his head the more memories of their recent encounter flickered through her mind. But the picture was still unclear. How had she gotten here in the middle of the dessert? The mystery was not left unanswered for long, sifting through the memories of the tree she was linked to now she searched for an answer. Instead of finding recent events Sen's mind flooded to the tree's memories of the man finding the area and coming back often to train. There was also a few flickers of animals find shelter and water here, but mostly the information was focused on him. After watching through many of the memories finally the recent events occurred in her mind. She had expected him to have dragged her here or rather kill Sen or do worse to her when they had reached this place. But nay, the man had set her by the tree and minded his business, showing no hostility at all. It made her curious of him again despite being sore over his assault to the forest earlier.
The sudden large amount of information left Sen's head stunned in pain, but her stomach was more nauseous from the thought of him carrying her like so. It left her gut turning and airy and regardless of needing the water she waited it out. Gazing at him the small huffs still having a hold over her body she decided to watch him a bit longer before she made her way over to the spring of water to refresh.

Kuruma *Demon of the Sand*Kuruma stood up. He could hear the girl stirring behind him, but he paid her no attention. If he wanted her to begin to trust him, he would have to give her some space. She was, for all intents and purposes, still an animal. She would come to him when she felt comfortable. Kuruma stared at his wound some more, a faint purple mist could barely be seen coming out of the wound, hissing faintly. Spying movement in the water, Kuruma dove in quickly. He emerged a few moments later clutching a few decent sized fish in each hand. He stared at the coherent Sen as he walked out of the water. He pulled his shirt back on, the water soaking it, keeping him cool. He sat down next to his sword, using it as a back rest. He pulled out a kunai knife and began to clean the fish. A few moments later and Kuruma stood again. He walked past the girl, into the wooded area. He took his time looking for the right sticks, giving Sen some time to herself. An animal in an unfamiliar place gets unwary, he wanted her to feel comfortable. After some time, Kuruma emerged from the woods with a few sticks. He make a small spit with the sticks, lighting the small fire with his fire release ninjutsu. He slowly turned the fish over and over, his stomach growling. The delicious scent of fish cooking filled the area. Kuruma made sure he only grabbed dead wood, he didn't want a repeat of earlier. He had not known of her heritage, she obviously viewed the attack as a personal assault. Kuruma shook his head at the memory, he accomplished his goal of showing her his power, but it wasn't exactly the way he planned.

A faint fizz traveled to her ears. Tilting her head Sen peered closer at the man, there was a hissing noise coming near him and it made her wonder if it was some form of snake coming out of the water trying to scare him off. But to their surprise their eyes spotted the faintly visible purple smoke disbursing into the air. Again he took her by surprise. Sen was paying so close attention, when the man jumped into the water she had flinched. Licks of water splashed into the air making her wish to be in the pool of water once more.
When he arose from the water fish clutched in his hand she watched as he maneuvered around the area. In complete awe she watched, hardly understanding his movements. It reminded her that her boar had been left behind. Slightly growling from that thought of her hard work being dragged off by another animal she returned her attention to see him waste all of the good of the fish. The gutting had fallen out into the sand, it seemingly didn't take him long to ruin the meal.
Finally pushing himself up the man left into the small wooded area behind her. Taking no delay time Sen pushed forward from the tree heading towards the water. Strands of what could only be described as wooden sap stretched and hung like melted cheese off of a pizza or pulled gum. Finally letting go the strands slowly retracted back forming the bark of the tree once more. Pouncing into the water Sen fell in as if she were jumping atop her pray.
Returning to the surface the desert wind blew warm air already trying to dry her face. Looking around the man was still gone and again she submerged herself under the surface of the pool. Keeping her mouth open she began to drink from underwater only returning back up to breath.

Kuruma *Demon of the Sand*Kuruma pulled his meal off of the flames. He blew a powerful gust of air out, cooling off the sizzling fish immediately. He stood up and scarfed each fish down in one bite each, he was ravenous when he ate. He cracked his neck then stood up. A smile crept up to the corners of his mouth, his stomach was satisfied. The only times he ever acted normally was when he was hungry and eating, he would act comically on occasion. He cracked his knuckles next, then rubbed his stomach. He heard a faint sound coming from the water, the girl was probably awake and active now. After a quick stretch he made his way quietly through the trees, until he came to the oasis clearing. He leaned his side against a tree and stood watching the girls motions. She was an interesting one, but Kuruma was unsure if she even understood him, or what was going on. He decided it was time to see. Walking slowly so she could see him coming, he made his way towards the water. He kept his hands at his side and his eyes concentrated on her.

Returning to the surface the desert wind blew warm air already trying to dry her face. Looking around the man was still gone and again she submerged herself under the surface of the pool. Keeping her mouth open she began to drink from underwater only returning back up to breath.
Sen's hair flipped back as she returned to the surface once again. She was obviously having far too much fun for just splashing around, but she reveled in the fact that there was such a place in the desert. Once she had found herself lost for a few days in the sandy dunes, being out for a few days she nearly didn't make it out of there alive. Since then she had kept it to be a mental note not to go past the boarder of the forest.
As the water began to drain out of their ears the sound of sand being kicked over in small tufts of steps pricked her attention. Looking over she found the man from before whom she had thought to have gone off in the small gathering of trees had returned to face her. Sen found themselves swimming to the shallow of the water's edge where they could stand up to meet the man. Their rage was no longer there, curiosity began to overcome them once more, but now they knew better. Last time she had copied his movements he had taken initiative to show her his might and to Sen picking up their claw against him. Despite having gotten what they wanted with their revenge, she knew that she would not be so lucky next time if a fight was to take place. It was likely there would be no waking up after the next fight if there was to be one.
She had found herself silently respecting him, never before had she met anyone that could hold themselves up against her let alone survive their poison. He was much stronger than her and the thought of that was both humbling as well as concerning, Sen had to force themselves to stand straight as he approached. Looking up at him she waited for what was to come next. He came over to her with arms down, slowly, his body language seemingly attending to do no harm, but the thought of him lifting a hand to her was slipping away with each passing step he took.
The warm rays of the sun began to dry the cloths on her back, the wind gently lifting her wet hair back, her toes dug into the mud and ankle deep in water. In that moment she felt as tranquil as they could ever be, forgetting their hunger, their natural anxieties, and found they staring into his wild animal eyes. A near silent rumble in her chest began to rise up to her throat began to soothe over the sounds of the dessert wind, in this tranquil state Sen had begun to purr. No longer feeling anxious her face moved forward near his chest to sniff.

Kuruma *Demon of the Sand*Kuruma stood there silently and let the girl examine him. His brain was trying to think of ways to communicate with this person. He fell to his knees and placed his hands on his legs. Even kneeling he was almost the size of the girl, altough she was standing in mud a few inches below him. His eyes stayed focused on hers. After a few moments of silence he slowly lifted a hand, bringing it to his chest in a closed fist. "Kuruma." Kuruma said softly but powerfully. He opened his hand and slowly brought it up to the girl, placing it softly on her shoulder. "Senju." Kuruma said quizically, as if he were asking a question that he thought he knew the answer to. He moved his hand away, bringing it down to his knee once more. Tilting his head ever so slightly, his eyes practically burned through the girl, it was a gaze that would intimidate most, and break a lesser man or woman. Lifting the cloth that had been ripped on his chest, he showed her where the wound had already scarred over.

This man was nothing less than strange, to even let down his guard enough to kneel before her was something she never even experienced even with an animal. Beasts were either pray or enemy in the vicious cycle of kill or be killed. Life in the forest was simple and everything that happened had meaning. Everything worked through a chain, from rabbits eating grass to the mighty wolf being swallowed by the earth in the very end. Reproduced to die, to provide for new life.
Though his words before now meant nothing, with this intense contact between their eyes brought her an understanding. Perhaps it was their Beastly Gaze, but somehow Sen was on the same level as him. His being was...Kuruma and as he spoke her name, something she hadn't heard since the tree's whispered of long past memories her emotions swayed from tranquil to confusion.
This man brought confusion into her mind. His purpose in this life was unclear, his feelings brought on confusion. For once this a spark of interest entered her life, this unknown path which was him brought excitement back into their life. Looking into his intense eyes this did nothing to make her feel differently, perhaps through him she could break through this sheltered shell of a life and experience things beyond her comprehension. As well....if he knew her name, perhaps there was something he could tell Sen of her late mother.
There was but one thing to say, their name. "Sen Senju." She nearly choked on the words.

Kuruma *Demon of the Sand*Kuruma smiled at the girl, but even that smile had a hint of evil in it. He stood once more, towering over the girl. He reached into his shinobi bag and pulled out a bingo book. He began rifling through the pages, looking for some hint of info on the girl, but found nothing. He slid the book back to his pouch. "Sen Senju..." He repeated. He knew words would be lost on this girl, he had no idea how to reach her. He could see the curiosity burning in her eyes. The eyes that had once belonged to an animal seemed almost human again. It would take a lot of work to polish her rough edges, but he admired her animalistic fighting style, it reminded him of when he let the demon take over. He would make this girl strong, he would have her running at two hundred percent after he finished training her, that is if he could even get her to understand the concept of training. Her whole life she spent learning to fight on her own, as an animal. Without formal training, she was not going to reach her full potential, Kuruma would see to it that she would, he wanted to suck the most power out of her possible when the time came. Turning his back towards her, he walked towards his sword and floating scroll, knowing the curious cat would follow.

As Kuruma moved up from his crouch Sen kept herself busy by looking around the area. She was still impressed that the desert held such a sanctuary, held up by a small pool of water. Before when she was recuperating herself Sen had felt the roots of the trees sink far down into the depths of the ground. Despite being in the middle of the dessert there was a thick enough layer of rock and dirt that held the mound of sand and the pocket of trees supported over a underground water vein. Somehow a hole in the rock had led to a pool of water being formed. Where there is water there is life, which could be proven by this area here.
Turning her head over in the midis of her inspection of the area Sen caught the glimpse of Kuruma placing something into his pocket. He turned his back to her and began to walk away, unsure of what to do Sen followed suit, but before she could complete her copy cat walk behind him her mind dawned to realize she was now stably walking on her two feet like he was. Beaming a smile Sen looked down at her two legs in excitement. Slightly giggling the girl began to lift her legs up and down as a form of her own happy dance. ☆══════━━━━━━━┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈━━━━━━══════☆

Kuruma *Demon of the Sand*Kuruma turned his head and looked back at Sen over his shoulder. The corner of his mouth curled up in a smirk as he watched the girl discover herself more and more each minute. "Hm. Seems like you are becoming more and more human each second." Kuruma said, more for himself than for her. He looked back at his gear on the ground and raised his palm forward. The scroll floated over to him of its own accord. He swiped sideways at the air then let his arm fall. The scroll unraveled to its full length, the evil curse markings dancing on the page as if they were alive. The scroll stayed afloat, curling around his body like an invisible whirlwind took over it. He turned back towards Sen and walked over to her, the sroll spinning around him wildly. The scroll was a mystery to all but Kuruma, its meaning could only be described by him. While the page was full of curse marks, they had no correlation to each other, each mark was the chakra of a single shinobi he had stolen after killing them. He stood in front of her, eyes focused on the girl as she danced in front of him. Kuruma was going to try something he had never done before, something he had never even tried, it could even be impossible. He was going to give power to this girl, he was going to give her a single curse mark. He watched the dancing markings until he found the one that he was seeking. He could tell which mark belonged to which shinobi simply by looking at it, but the markings held no significance to anyone else. He placed a hand on the page and the single mark turned firey orange. It danced up the scroll on to his palm. He turned his palm upwards, and the curse mark burned orange in his palm. In one swift motion he was behind the girl, an arm wrapped around her waist, and his palm wrapped around the back of her neck. He focused his Sealing technique, and transfered the curse mark to the girl. Normally this technique would be used to drain the opponents chakra, but he refocused the technique to simply transfer the mark to her. His palm grew warm on her neck. He clutched her waist tighter, knowing it would be painful. After a few minutes he let go of her neck, and the curse mark slowly faded from orange to purple to black, a purple mist floating off of it. The curse mark when activated would double her speed, strength, and amount of chakra, however it would slowly kill her until she became more accustomed to it. He would have to train her, in this state Sen would be dead within ten minutes of using the curse mark. He would have to bring her to her limit, and slowly but surely she would be able to use it longer. He slowly let go of the girl, unaware if she would collapse from the pain or not. It would pass, but it could very well knock her unconcious again.

She had not noticed when he had made his comment, nor when he had made his way up to her. In fact Sen was so happy she was blissfully unaware of Kuruma's movements all together until his arm was around her waist. In a shriek from Sen being caught off guard, her hands quickly finding the arm around her waist began to clench down in hopes that she could pull his grip off of her.
Her cloths and body were still wet, only small clumps of sand had dried the area around their feet so their skin was still quite cool to the touch and when Karuma's other hand found his way to the nap of their neck it was cool to the touch. For her Kuruma's hand was blazing hot, burning, or to her felt more like scorching her skin at his touch. The pain of the burn moved from her neck down her spine. Sen's body tensed in shock, but her paralysis only lasted a few moments. Before long her legs kicked up and her body flailed in his grasp. He supported her weight so when her legs kicked back hoping to clip one of his knees Sen was held in the air.
Her hands which held tightly around his arm clenched down with the added force of the tension in her body, causing her nails to pierce the fabric of the arm covers and dig into the skin. Sen felt her body go, the pain had consumed their essence and her vision began to darken. She was hardly aware of the fact that she was no longer moving let alone on the dessert ground after he let go of her waist. Her body laid against his leg slowly sinking down, Sen's eyes drifted off staring into nothing for she no longer could see as she waited for her mind to take her away.

Kuruma *Demon of the Sand*Sen crumpled to the ground as soon as he let her go. Kuruma stared coldly, watching the girl spasm at his feet. The transfer process was complete, the curse mark was black on her neck. Kuruma reached down and laid the girl straight, holding on to her shoulders. Purple mist floated out of the holes on his arm where her nails pierced through. He crouched awkwardly over the girl, holding her still until she no longer moved. The pain was still clear on her face. He sighed, closing his eyes. Kuruma slid his arms underneath her, scooping her up. He took her over to the water, and waded in until he was over waist deep and Sen was half submerged. He splashed a bit of water on her face. "Wake up." He mumbled to her. Kuruma's brain was twisting, plotting something fiendish. He would test Sen's new power, and he knew just the target to test it on. Kuruma closed his eyes again and waited for Sen to wake up. He needed to see how she could first affect the trees around them with the new curse mark, it would be the simplest way to actually see her new power. He may have to make her angry again. ((EDIT))

The sudden splash of cool water did little to lift the pain of their burning skin, if anything the shock sent them back into consciousnesses. The pressure of their body laying in Kuruma's arms felt like a slap to sunburnt skin. Rolling their eyes to the side Sen finally let the lids open. One of their hands dipped into the water, their mind perhaps trying to lul itself away from the pain was drawing a blank. Unable to concentrate on thought Sen's face was a blank slate mirroring their mind state.
