Oɴᴄᴇ Uᴘᴏɴ A Tɪᴍᴇ: • Alex was born to two normal human parents in New York city. He lived a relatively normal life, decent grades, no drugs, up until he got into a fight when he was 12. During this fight, his mutant powers were shown when he punched the child that had been bullying his friends with what looked like white brass knuckles. These were in fact bone coverings on his knuckles that he had unwittingly created with his powers. From then on life became hard. He was considered more of a freak by his classmates, even the ones he had protected from bullying, and seen as a threat to people at school. His parents were no better. They showed fear and barely hidden scorn whenever they looked at him.
When he was 14 he couldn’t take it anymore. He got into a fight with his dad and left him for near dead after beating him with bone enhanced punches and stabbing him with a spike that grew out of his hand. That was also the night he left home. His father was put into intensive care and pulled through, but he never saw either of his parents after that night. After a year of living on the streets and gaining a name for himself as being a ‘danger to anyone who comes near him’ he was found and captured by the Organization for the Containment of Mutants. He has spent the last 2 years in their tender care, growing in power under their watch so that he could be used as their loyal tool.
There was one good thing that came from his being captured by the Organization, he met Faolan. He had met her during a training exercise and they had quickly become friends. After the exercise they found that their training and exercise schedules had been changed so that they shared the same time slots, allowing them to keep sane by talking to and learning about each other. They each told the other their life’s stories and experiences. Faolan seemed genuinely sad about his past but, as for Alex, he was jealous of her. She had been able to hide her powers by giving her headaches a fake cause, her parents had even helped! At the same time that he was jealous though, he also pitied her. She had a wonderful, and relatively normal, life before being caught by the Organization. It made her current predicament even worse than his, if that were possible. True, they’d both been taken against their will, but at least his living quarters had been IMPROVED by being captured.
The Organization allowed their friendship to flourish, after all if they were friends they would work much better together once they were used by the Organization.
Uɴᴅᴇʀ Tʜɪs Mᴀsᴋ: • He hates humans for what they've done and how they view him and mutants in general. That being said, he isn't a bad person. Back when he was still thought to be a normal human he would stick up for those who couldn't defend themselves, a trait which is still in him to this day. He just doesn't normally show it when humans are concerned.
He can be aggressive, especially when angry, and usually thinks the best way to solve a problem is either to hit it or stab it, but he isn't stupid. He also knows when he isn't the best one for the job at hand and will step aside to let someone more qualified handle it if there is one.

Wʜᴀᴛ Mᴀᴋᴇs Mᴇ Sᴘᴇᴄɪᴀʟ: • Since his power uses up nutrients and involves close range fighting, he is fit and strong. Though not overly muscular.
Wʜᴀᴛ Mᴀᴋᴇs Mᴇ Dɪғғᴇʀᴇɴᴛ: • Bone Manipulation: By secreting bone cells from his pores he can make any close range weapon he can picture in his mind. He can also make bone coverings or spikes on his skin which can be used as armor or to add damage to his physical strikes.
Once an object is made, Alex can then absorb it to replenish the nutrients he lost making it. This takes just as long as it did to make it. He can currently only make simple things (bone coverings and spikes) quickly. Anything else takes a little time. The larger and more intricate the creation, the longer it takes to make.
As stated, Alex requires nutrients to make his bone creations. As such, he needs to eat much more than a normal human of his size and age so as to ensure he has excess nutrients in his system to use. If he should run out of excess nutrients he CAN take the required components from his normal bones, but this risks weakening and damaging them. (Eventually he will also be able to make the bones he makes more dense, which will require more nutrients.)
Tʜᴏsᴇ Wʜᴏ Lᴏᴠᴇ Mᴇ: • His mother and father are still alive, but if neither of them ever see their freak son again it will be too soon.
