 In a place without space, in a dimension removed from time, there was the man and the woman. The man and the woman watched the universe begin, watched it grow, and watched others of its kind begin and grow themselves. The man and the woman looked on in interest as the great building blocks of the cosmos began to create stars, and the planets that surrounded them. They watched as life began on these planets, starting out as the smallest bacterium, and slowly becoming more and more complex organisms. The man and the woman became bored of endless watching and began to play with the primordial powers, creating great creatures from their vast imaginations. Large, reptilian creatures roamed one small planet, eating each other and the earth around them. On another planet, they created beautiful, whale – like creatures that swam the skies, with delicate, lacy flippers not unlike a dragonflies wings. They created dragons and giants, even dolphins. But one day, millions of years later, on a small planet long since abandoned, an organism evolved into something fantastic. The man and the woman loved the organism so, and watched it grow avidly. They soon fashioned themselves bodies after this organism, created children of their own – these, the organism began to call ‘gods’. The man, woman and their children created more organisms together, different kinds and in lots of different universes. But soon the man and woman grew bored again, and retired to their home, leaving their children to their own devices. The children began to squabble, fighting first amongst themselves, then in the universes themselves. So many beautiful creatures were destroyed, so many universes consumed in the children’s lust for power. But eventually even the children grew tired, and retired to their own pocket dimensions to create universes of their own. And still the man and the woman watched. Life went on without the man and woman, and it got tiresome. Soon, the man and woman decided that they would cease to exist, but that they would have one last fling. They would gather up organisms from different dimensions (Two from each, one male and one female (or the equivalents)), and put them through a series of tests. Why? Because. It’s not like the organisms have any choice in the matter. ☆ IC☆ OOC☆ Profiles☆

In the beginning...
The Man and The Woman
 The fire crackled merrily in the stone hearth, throwing strange patterns of light and shadow around the parlour. Heavy, red velvet drapes covered the tall windows, masking the view of the outside world to the occupants within. The man lay sprawled on a chaise lounge, his head resting on a pillow of midnight blue. The lady, by contrast, sat upright in a floral – patterned armchair, doing what appeared to be embroidery on a scrap of silk. On closer look, the silk was floating in the air, and the needle was moving by itself. “Brother.” She said, gazing deeply into the red – orange heat of the fire before her. “Yes, my love?” Was the sleepy reply. “I grow tired.” The man rolled over, and got to his feet. “Yes, I too grow tired.” To say that they actually spoke would be a lie. All the man and the woman had to do to communicate was think, and their message could be heard by the other instantly. Such transmissions had so much power that they tended to be broadcast across the whole of space, and on some worlds people have dedicated their lives to understanding and interpreting these messages. These people called them Gods, and their messages went straight to the people, who changed their lives accordingly. On one such world, this message was interpreted as a Godly call for an earlier bedtime. The man wandered through the parlour, feeling under his bare feet the work of several lifetimes. The wooden floor, the rug, the mantelpiece, the coffee table... all mere reflections of the wonders they had wrought, and the things they had destroyed. A large wooden clock on the mantelpiece sounded once, a booming tick that had the same weight as the slamming of a heavy wooden door. It alone marked the passage of time for the man and the woman; it’s steady, slow tick a steady reminder of the weight and ages that pressed in upon them. The clock had been with them as far back as they could remember (Which was rather a long way), and for the life of them they could not get rid of them. “But what of our children?” The man asked, twitching aside the drapes to stare out at the scene beyond. Galaxies exploded within his gaze; suns expanded and were born anew. The universe drifted, the whole infinite expanse of it, forever and ever... The drapes twitched shut. “What about them, my love? They can fend for themselves. ” “But...” The man felt a strong attachment for his creations, his children. He had the mother’s instinct, a need to hold and protect. “If they worry you so much, we could call them here.” “What, all of them? You must be mad, sister.” “No, not all. Just some. We could make a sport of it.” That would shut him up, and provide me with some entertainment. We’ll give them gifts, and then we can play with them some. One last fling before... The clock sounded again. It was slowing down. “Do it.” There was me us

Renine
 Listen to me when I say...
Renine wiped her sweaty brow with one hand, leaning back on her haunches. The classroom was empty for now, but she only had minutes to finish before the students would be back. She supposed that is should be an honour, sanitizing the people’s education centre, but no matter how hard she conditioned herself, she still felt like she was in a dead-end job, with nothing to look forward to. Working in a place like this felt like fighting a losing battle; all those farmer’s children with mud on their boots, the bureaucrat children that put their feet up on the desks and plastered their chewing rations under them. It was endless. Had she been that bad? Her school days were a haze of furious studying, frustratingly confusing classes, and bullying peers. It was frowned upon to associate with people outside your own class, but bullying was another matter entirely. In some ways, it was encouraged to ‘put them in their place’, it affirmed the class structure, and held firm the barriers of society. She did remember one boy, a boy of H class (practically a second-classer) who was actually nice to her. They were friends – of a sort. He helped her up in the corridors once when she had been knocked down. It was sad to think that an H – class helping her up when she was down was the only memory of someone being nice to her in school. She was done with this room, finally. The floors had been the hardest part – someone had spilled something sticky, and hadn’t bothered to notify sanitary staff. The reasoning went that they would find out; they were only third – classers. It had taken most of her time to remove the blasted satin. The chime sounded; the students were on the move. She had dallied there too long. In a panic she started to pull her equipment together. They couldn’t see her, they mustn’t see her. Sanitary staff was silent and invisible. They came and cleaned while everyone was away, but mostly because the consequences if they were seen would be dire. Back in school, the third classers had been taught that to be a societal cleaner was noble and vital to the community. Without societal cleaners, there would be harmful germs floating around that could potentially harm those of society, and it was because of their noble sacrifice that the people remained free from contamination. That was why third classers worked in the sewers, and the nuclear reactor – contamination for them wouldn’t necessarily mean contamination of the rest of society. Nobody talked to third classers. It was forbidden. Sometimes, even third classers wouldn’t talk to third classers. It wasn’t worth risking the thought police anyway. police anyway. Renine had just finished putting her numerous equipment in her basket when the first student entered. His uniform marked him as a second classer, but by the way he held himself, he was probably closer to I class than Q. He stopped in the doorway, looking down at the mussed cleaner before him, making the gesture for something somewhere between disgust and fascination. “Look!” He cried to the boys that clustered behind him. “One of the sanitary staff!”The other boys muttered amongst themselves, gesturing surprise and eagerness, pressing into the classroom to get a better look. Fear rose up in Renine’s gut, but she merely looked down, making the gesture for respect. Where was the teacher? Surely, the teacher would take pity on her. “Hey, cleaner!” A boy jeered, throwing a book at her. The book glanced off her shoulders, and Renine flinched. “Clean this!”“Clean this!” The class echoed, and started pelting her with stationary supplies. Renine covered her head amidst the hale of pens and books. This was what they taught the second class boys? How to torture societal cleaners? Weren’t they being taught to be productive to society? “Hey, cleaner!” A boy said, stepping close to her. “Get up off the floor. You’re messing it up with your third class stink!” He kicked her in the ribs. I must not cry out... she thought to herself. I must not cry out...Suddenly, she was filled with a strange sensation, like she was being emptied out. Her body got cold, her fingers tingled. What is... she thought to herself, when what felt like a million hands made of stone grabbed her, and she was yanked out of the room, and into blackness.
~*~
She awoke slowly, surprised to find that she was warm and not hurting. Where were the boys? Where were her cleaning supplies? If she lost them, she would have to replace them out of her own money - and some of that stuff was expensive. She sat up. She was in a... parlour of some sort, lying on a rug. A fire crackled merrily in a big stone fireplace, and on the mantle above it were strange objects, stranger than she had ever seen in her life. And so many! That there looked like the ceremonial staff carried by the leader Aand in the second battle of Zoup. Where was she? I'm on the right track baby, I was born this way.

Iclas Delilahis I think, therefore I amSometimes, Iclas would doubt her resolve. all creatures did that, but among the Relectis, doubting one's self was considered something along the lines of blasphemy. After all, they were a very, very vain race. In the mind of most of their people, Iclas' included, they were along the lines of gods. They had long since stopped believing in the Man and the Woman. They believe, instead, in the Grand Lady, or the Grand Lord, depending on who you were talking to. Due to the fact their people didn't have a proper gender, they worked as both but tended to appear as one or the other, their god or goddess, she was normally described as female due to the fact that most of their people choose the female form, worked the same way."She created us in her image..." the golden haired woman purred out, her voice twisting in the too rich sound that she adored. Everyone else though, did not like her voice. It sounded far too full of it's self. Even among their people, Iclas was proud. She'd out lived most of her people. A thousand years was a long time to live. Besides her pride, her voice also grated on others after a while. Shaking her head, she decided to go back to her brooding, she was good at that at least.Sometimes the golden haired creature thought that her siblings had made better choices them her. Five hundred years was a long time, especially for one of her kind. Their world was empty, mostly. The creations of her people were scattered everywhere, but besides that, the world was completely blank. Even the sky was blank, though the girl found the pure grey of the sky somewhat beautiful. Even then if got boring. And Iclas had live a thousand years. She;d seen the sky too much. She'd even tried to touch it, though her cowardice caused her to freeze up and made her drop to the ground. The memory of that caused the girl to jam her eyes closed."Maybe I should talk to the nieces, " she murmured to herself. As soon as the words slipped out, the girl decided against it. No way, they thought she was crazy. Her witch obsession made her seem a bit off, and the fact she had waited five hundred years before picking her normal form. True, she could still change her form, but this was how she thought of herself. Waiting those five hundred years made her people think she was weak. No, beyond weak, she was, well, blasphemistic, if that was even a word. It probably wasn't, but that's what they had called her."Stupid society," she cursed rather loudly, finally approaching some left behind creations. A sitting stone. Realizing she had walked a very far way, she couldn't even remember the last time she wasn't walking, though this wasn't that strange since she had a horribly short memory. But once she thought this, she feet got very sore. Well, she'd make use of this sitting stone then. Having made her way over to it, she plopped down onto it and let out a sigh of relief. This one was comfy. Far too comfy from what it seemed to be made out of. The creator must have a good imagination. something like that was very honoured in their society and for an instant, the girl was engulfed by a crippling wave of jealous. She could have stayed like that for hours thanks to her long life span and wandering mind, but movement bellow her snapped her out of it. Her first thought was that the creator had forgotten about it. Jumping off and back onto her now rejuvenated feet, her inner monologuing had caused her to forget that she believed they were tried, returning them to a normal state, she looked down at the stone. However, instead of seeing the stone, she saw a young, nude male, glaring up at her. Apparently it hadn't been a creation at all. It had been one of her kind, trying out s new form. Why would he want to be a sitting stone? She would never know. What she did know what that she had upset him. However, she wasn't one to apologize, that would make her weak in the male's eyes. "What are you looking at?" she snapped."You, you stupid witch!" he snapped back, his use of the term witch instead of swearing told her that he was young and still nervous about angering the god or goddess, which swearing was said to do. While her people inherited the practical knowledge from their parents, they did not get that emotional knowledge or experience. If they did, what would be the point of living?"Me, stupid?" she asked, flaunting her proud voice far too much. "You're the one who choose to appear as a sitting stone. Anyone could have come along and sat on you!""You say that," he muttered. "And yet, don't the laws state that we are not to make use of creations made by other Relectis?""Hey!" she snapped. "No point letting those objects go to waste!" Instead of seeming to be confident, she had let a weakness show, and like all of her people, who were far too similar for their own good, this boy would attack it."You're a trash digger, aren't you?" he mocked, using the slang term for one who used other's objects. "A useless, hopeless trash digger."Glaring harshly and stepping back, she made her broom appear. "I'm out of here.""Oh, the trash digger's gonna cry!" he taunted, as she hopped on and started to fly off. As she got further away, he yelled something, but the golden haired girl refused to believe she had heard it. as long as she believe it of herself, it would be true.Flying farther and farther away, she found that her eyes keep falling shut, like she was sleeping. But she knew she wasn't she didn't get tried. She didn't need it, therefore she didn't have that part of her. Some others of her kind did, as they enjoyed dreaming, but she thought it was cheating. Besides, you could easily dissapear or lose control in a dream. Dozens, which was allot for them, of her kind had perished that way. But even if she wasn't tried, she was closing her eyes like she was. No longer able to hold herself up, she started to fall as the world went black.--- Waking up on the ground of a strange room, all she could say was thing. "Dammit!"

 Small-Bird-on-the-Wing "I don't want you and I don't need you...The squad flew into the hive in a blur of wings, gatherers first with the soldiers bringing up the rear. It had been a successful forage, the gathering team having descended to the forest floor to collect tubers, roots, and small berries - things that could not be found up in the canopy, where the gathering team usually foraged. It was high summer, which meant that the gatherers had to work extra hard to feed the newly matured males, the males that they had nursed from the summer before, the first born after last season’s fertilization. The males were a burden, living in the colony until the time for them to fly came upon them, eating all the hard won food that the gatherers had scrounged from the unforgiving forest for their sisters, taking up space for a function that saw them living in full maturity for barely a fortnight, then dying. Small-Bird-on-the-Wing resented having to take the extra time to forage the best, and hardest to reach foods for the males. They had nothing to do with her, nor she to do with them – she was a gatherer, a drone, serving under the Queen mother for the good of the hive, and her sisters. But yet, every year, she and the team had to go out and get the roots and tubers for the males, for ‘they need their strength.’ Fights-as-a-Dragonfly, the squad leader, pulled off her BoGo nut helmet, shaking free her long, earth brown hair. “Alright, team. Good forage. No trouble, no fuss, in and out. That’s how we like it.” Last forage, In-the-Moonlight had decided to go off looking for Damsel flowers, and had nearly gotten herself eaten by a hooves-and-fangs beast. Fights-as-Dragonfly had to carry the silly Fey back to the hive herself – and In-the-Moonlight was still sick with the poison. “Take five, everyone, and then we’ll make one last run before sunset.”At night, the insects prowled. The hard-shelled-buzzers liked the dark, for then they were free of the leathery-screechers that plagued all the other insects during the daytime. Although, it was rare to see a leathery-screecher this far down from the canopy. The hive entrance lay at the middle of the BoGo tree for a reason. The flying whales and the insect teams that hunted them preferred the open sky, and nested in the tree tops at night. The forest floor was littered with creatures far worse than a hooves-and-fangs beast, where as in the middle ground, all you had to fear were the hard-shelled-buzzers, and they were slow. Although, many a Fey had lost a wing teasing the bad tempered, bumbling insects. Small-Bird-on-the-Wing hefted her basket higher up on her hip and made for the deeper tunnels, where workers would be waiting to take the precious food straight to the males. The hive tunnels ran up and down the BoGo tree, all the way from the roots to the treetop. Only the BoGo tree could withstand the presence of the hive, all other trees would give way and fall as the inner flesh was stripped away. Only the BoGo tree, who used it’s bark for the transportation of minerals, was capable of housing the Fey. The relationship had gone on so long that the BoGo tree had evolved special soft wood that was easy to tunnel through, for the Fey protected the tree from all predators. The tunnels grew darker as the gatherers moved away from the bark rimmed entrance, leaving the soldiers behind. They preferred to stay near the light, only venturing near the darker, inner tunnels when it was night. These tunnels were only lit by glow worms, foraged from the forest floor and bread specially for that purpose. Such snobbery could only come from a soldier. They were so tough, they could supposedly handle anything that came through the hole, and they were so privileged that they could go virtually anywhere unescorted. Even the Queen’s chambers, which were usually only accessible by the Queen’s chosen workers, those that she brought over from her own hive when she first spread her wings in flight. Her first and only flight. Small-Bird-on-the-Wing was glad that she was not a Queen. She couldn’t imagine not being able to fly. Flying was her oxygen; she lived to fly. “Good hunt?” A small voice asked, and Small-Bird-on-the-Wing was shaken out of her reverie. Looking down, she was unsurprised to see Glows-in-Twilight, her nestmate and only friend. Her dark blue hair, short cropped out of necessity rather than vanity, stuck up in sweat slicked spikes around her face. “Ha ha, Twi, you look like a crest-bird!” Small-Bird-on-the-Wing crowed, using her free hand to restore her friend’s appearance. “Oh, ha ha Bird.” She quipped, her small lips pursed in frustration and amusement. “YOU got to go flying, while I had to tend the males.” She shuddered. “They sure get frisky this time of year. One of them chased me all around the chamber.” She half smiled at the memory, then snapped back to reality. “Alright, give me the basket. If I leave them alone for too long, they’ll start climbing the walls.” Small-Bird-on-the-Wing laughed and handed the goods over to her friend, who took them in hand and scurried back down the glow worm – lit tunnel. Glows-in-Twilight had always been a serious Fey, for all her small size. She could have been a soldier, she was strong enough, but the Commander had deemed her too short for the job. By the time Small-Bird-on-the-Wing returned to the entrance, the squad was ready to go. “Daydreaming, Small-Bird-on-the-Wing?” She snarled, priming her wings for takeoff. “Ready?” She called, and the squad nodded, Small-Bird-on-the-Wing along with them. “Wings, and... Launch!” The group, as one, sprinted towards the entrance, bare feet slapping on the wooden floor. They reached the end, and as one launched themselves into space, hanging there in free fall for a half a second, and then the wings were engaged. But something slammed into Small-Bird-on-the-Wing, pulling her backwards away from the group. She tried to cry out, but the air was squeezed from her lungs, the pressure was so great... And then there was something flat, coloured and slightly fuzzy in texture under her face. She could hear moans all around her, and the crackle of flames. Someone shouted something angrily, and Small-Bird-on-the-Wing sat up. She was in a room, but it was like no room she had ever seen before. “What the...” She muttered to herself. ...don't bother to resist, or I'll beat you." {{OOC}}

Hinabi Gysuki Iclas Delilahis I think, therefore I amLooking around her, Iclas couldn't help being impressed with the room. It was very, very difficult to make something like this. While her people called themselves something like gods, there was allot of restrictions on their creating abilities. Anything as detailed like this would turn the creator's mind to mush in an instant. There was only one logically explanation for this. This must have been a collaboration. That was a rare circumstance. Normally only partners, a term which hear means a married pair, did things like this, but the government, a group of her kind who were almost always unseen, were known for doing this as well. It was very strange. They normally only started to fuss if there was a murder. Their kind didn't die often, but when they did, it was bad. If it was proven to be murder, and murdering one of their kind was incredibly difficult, the murderer would be hunted down ad put through the thousand pits of torture, all collaborations. If they survived, they went free, but no one survived.Getting to her feet, the long haired girl moved closer to the fire, her purple eyes narrowed. What had she done? Then an idea came to her. They were trying to get rid of failures. But was she the only one? Looking around, she finally noticed the other two girls. Personally, she liked the fey's form, believing she was one of her kind. What weird her out was the strange noises she made. even creatures who didn't exist in one solid form had a language and she could not speak the fey's. "Hey, girl, are you from somewhere else?"

 ✿✿✿✿✿✿✿✿✿✿Tia Amaria✿✿✿✿✿✿✿✿✿✿ ✿✿✿✿✿✿✿✿ A whisper in the woods ✿✿✿✿✿✿✿✿ Tia hummed quietly to herself while walking in the woods, her home, her life. The hood on her head veiled her eyes ever slightly, but her ears were ever vigilant. Not that she expected anything to pass through today. Perhaps a wild Tigaina, but nothing that would threaten the city. Not that they knew that the Frezou was protecting it, the pride of the Frezou. Mirahcanthis, invisible to all but those that knew its precise location, and the simple incantation, ancient as the Frezou, as mystical as they were, that revealed its majestic splendor.
Pausing in her silent travel, Tia sat down by a stream in a small clearing. The Aranthea flowers were in bloom, the small blue flowers that dotted places with water. The Frezou set back her hood and sat on the bank, a small rock beneath her. From her neck she retrieved a small locket. It was small, silver, delicate, but near impossibly detailed. For a while Tia just examined it, her blue eyes reflected in the surface. After a while, she opened it and looked at the small painted portrait inside, a present from the Queen herself. Tia smiled, partially sadly, and closed it, bringing a knee to her chin and setting her chin upon her knee. A piece of her hair fell down, framing her face, its near white shimmering in the mid-morning sun.
Water had always brought to Tia a place of reflection. the fountains within the capital were astounding, and a favorite place for the Frezou. The beautiful, flawless, white marble of those fountains gleamed when wet, and the water sent rainbows cascading through the air. Those days of sitting by the Queen, with her swan white hair and clear emerald eyes, and those fountains, were long gone. But not forgotten. Never forgotten.
Soon after, Tia moved on, silently ascending a tree and continuing along the tightly woven branches. She was working her way into the darker, more sinister, parts of the woods. Something to do, perhaps.
After descending to the forest floor, now incredibly loamy and dark, Tia took a moment to let her eyes adjust to the green twilight of the woods. Here, a strange stillness blanketed the forest, and the air was thick. Undeniably, it was one of Tia's least favorite part of her self directed guard routes. But, she still did it. She cared far too much about the well fare of the city to skip it. Here, Tigaina roamed, and snakes, along with other things, things that made Tia's skin crawl. The hood that she had replaced on her head she took down again to optimize the degree of which she could evaluate her surroundings. A knife from her sleeve slid into her hand, and she loosened her suruchin.
A little while later, the bushes to her left rustled and Tia froze, the dagger flashing in what little light there was. The large mass of black fur and sparkling garnet eyes that marked a Tigaina made Tia's heart freeze for a moment, and she raised her dagger as the large cat pounced. Tia's eyes widened as she darted left, but quickly narrowed her eyes as training kicked in. However, the tail of the beast flicked towards her and caught her chest, smashing her against a tree. Or so she thought...
Cold entered her, devoiding her of heat. It felt as if her very essence was being ripped from her and replaced with ice. She believed herself to be dead. This is what death is like? I thought there was more than the void... Then, feeling and warmth slammed into her, knocking her sense from her. She collapsed in a room that she did not recognize, and instinct kicked in. She became invisible, the fireplace creating a near translucent shadow of her as she sat herself up, before taking away her invisibility. She looked around, acknowledging that her hand was bleeding from her dagger, still clutched in her hand. She slid it into her sleeve sheath and wrapped her hand in a strip of fabric.

Slydarum placed a rail onto a large mechanical apparatus, with a blue glowing tank below. The majority of it's armor and boosters where on. "Time to test." It said excitedly as it hovered around it's workshop. It grabbed a large metal casing that was next to it's forge and placed it onto the apparatus. She then grabbed it and placed it on her shoulder. Several wires and support beams jetted out of its shoulder and secured to the gun-like apparatus. A space in front of it cleared and Slydarum moved the apparatus remotely. Several metallic targets slipped out in front of her at varying ranges. "Clear!!" The apparatus fired, sending a stream of bright blue energy into a target. She fired several more times until her suit screamed out "Temperature Alert. Barrel of rail-gun over heating. Another charge may melt several components." Slydarum skimmed over to the targets and looked at the still melting metal target. The metal was a bright, rosy, red. "Leguilum, would you please forge the barrel with a metal with a higher melting temperature. I need at least 10 shots for this weapon to be affective. I want it done by tomorrow." She disengaged the weapon and placed it on a work bench. The robot it voice relied. "Going to get a high resistance paint? Should I order it or do you want to wait for it?" "Order it, effective immediately, if you would be so kind. I want to be painting by morning." Slydarum hovered over to the door, grabbing it's plasma caster and shoulder mounted mass accelerator, and the door slipped open automatically. As it hovered out the doorway, it suddenly saw a flash of color flew past it's facial cameras. It soon found itself in a large parlour, with a large crackling fire in the corner. There where also many humanoid like persons within the room. Nope wearing exo-suits. Other races where known to the Azourians, but they usually had about the same technology that their society did. These creatures were just plain, odd looking with there flimsy internal skeletons. The only reacquiring thought in Slydarum's mind was soon blurted out of it's external speaker. "Where am I?"

Renine
 Listen to me when I say...
Renine sat up, rubbing her hands through her short cropped hair. She had a horrible headache, which was not made better in any way by all the noise going on around her. Noise? There were other people in this strange room? The room was luxurious to the point of absurdity; look at those plush couches, the rich wood. Someone, obviously privileged, killed a lot of animals to make that throw rug. And over there – that predatory beast with the black and orange fur – some kind of feline – it was very much unlike the cats on Venn, skinny creatures with tall, pointed ears used only for hunting rodents. It was so decadent, there was only one possibility. It was the thought police – they had taken her away for some reason, and she was in the room of some higher official. But what had she done? She strived to be a model citizen, doing her part and never complaining. It was not her fault that her thought were rebellious, that was why she was a third class. They knew there was something wrong with her. People started speaking. There were others here with her? Getting her knees under her, Renine straightened her third classer’s uniform. If she were to get out of trouble, she would need to be as presentable as she could possibly be. She was glad that she had polished her shoes this morning. Someone shouted, and whilst the word sounded angry, it was in a language that she couldn’t understand. It was quite unlike her own language, harsh and emotionless with different words for everything. The voice sounded female. Another voice whistled and clicked out something that may or may not have been a sentence, whilst another metallic voice said something (Also in a feminine voice) that, yet again, she couldn’t understand. What was going on here? She got to her feet, and was quite suddenly faced with a large, pink battle suit that was armed to the teeth with what seemed to be smoking guns. This must be some new technology – a battle suit created for the police for crowd control. Perhaps they were taking third – classers, people who wouldn’t be missed – as ‘volunteers’? But... if it were police, the colour would be black, not pink. Renine shied away from the suit, stammering in shock. “P-p-please, do-do-don’t h-hurt m-m-m-me. I l-love the E-E-Emp-ire, I l-love the L-l-l-leader...”The fire grew hotter as she approached it, but before she could reach it she bumped into someone else. She turned, still stammering in fright. “ “S-s-sorry!” She always stammered when she was frightened. It had been worse when she was little, then she stammered all the time. Her parents had taken her to speech therapy, but it was too late – she was a third – classer, born to second – class parents. That was what you got when you were damaged goods. Turning away from the frightening battle suit, she faced whoever she had bumped into, bowing. “ “M-m-my a-apologies, m-m-m...” Who was she addressing? Was it a Mam, or a Mister? She peered through her hair at the person, but was taken aback. Black clothing, pointed hat, broom... It was a heathen! The stories were true! Those who refused to join the Empire, so the histories told, wore such clothing and made rude sacrifices to their heathen gods. And here one stood, in this very room! She must be in great trouble, to be faced with such a person. “N-no-n-no-n-n” She backed away once more. What had she gotten into? I'm on the right track baby, I was born this way.

 Small-Bird-on-the-Wing "I don't want you and I don't need you... It was very apparent to Small-Bird-on-the-Wing that she was no longer on the Land-under-the-Sky. For one thing, there were no trees, and from the feel of things, quite a few had been killed to make that floor. For another, she was no longer amongst her squad, and she was very sure that she had not bumped her head on something, or been eaten. What creature had this sort of place for insides? It was very cold; the small creature shivered where she sat. The Fey did not wear clothing; the place they lived in was so hot, and modesty was not a problem. The Fey, particularly those that went outside, decorated themselves in mud for camouflage. The only Fey that wore any sort of clothing were the soldiers, who wore armour, and the males and queens, who dressed brightly to gain attention in their summer flight. Small-Bird-on-the-Wing felt very heavy as well. It was as if someone had dropped several baskets full of rocks onto her body, and the rocks were pressing her into the ground. Her dual set of dragonfly wings drooped towards the ground. There were a lot of people about. There was one female with no wings, covered in a strange brown sort of material that looked very frightened. There was another covered in all black, with a pointed thing on her head. She had purple eyes; Small-Bird-on-the-Wing thought they looked pretty. And just about everyone was speaking. They all spoke different languages, but they all sounded harsh to her ear. What kind of silly language was that, all those wa-wa-wa-wa noises? What on land-under-the-sky could they possibly mean? Perhaps she had died. Small-Bird-on-the-Wing thought about death for a moment, and what it would mean. The Fey believed that once they died, they became a part of the forest, a spirit of the land. Another BoGo tree, or a beast or insect; something natural, and thus everything to the Fey was sacred. If she had died and come back as something, things were certainly not as the Fey believed they were. Had her body changed? Small-Bird-on-the-Wing began a cursory examination of her body. Two arms, her own, two legs, green hair, nose, mouth, eyes, ears, wings... yes, she was still Small-Bird-on-the-Wing, and the weight that she was feeling pressing down upon her told her that she was definitely still alive. So, where was she? There was a massive fire set into the wall, and a lot of things scattered all around that looked like places to sit. They were unlike anything that Small-Bird-on-the-Wing had ever seen before; they looked so comfortable, and what colours! One of them even had pretty flowers all over. Despite the unnerving pressure, the Fey decided to see if the flowers were real. Imagine; a sitting thing made from flowers! Hesitantly, wings quivering with the effort, the Fey got her legs underneath her and pushed up from the ground. For a moment it felt as if her ankles would give way, but in an instant she was upright (although uncomfortable). Using the furniture to support herself, the Fey made her way along to the flower covered seating object. The things were so soft! Far softer than the beds of fur and dried grasses that the Fey used back in the hive. Reaching the flower-seating object, she prodded it experimentally with a finger. No, not organic, but soft, and covered in the same material as the others. Someone made a noise at her, and, startled, the Fey swung her head around to stare at the black – covered female with the pointy head. She was making those strange noises at her, saying something. And my goodness she was tall! She practically towered over the Fey, who suddenly felt like a little nestling again. “I’m sorry, I can’t understand you.” She said, speaking slowly and clearly to the pointy one so as to make her meaning clear. She still clung to the furniture, the pressure was so great! It was hard to even keep her wings upright. Suddenly, the brown female ran into the pointy female, and started making apology noises and bowing a lot. As soon as she looked at the pointy female, however, she started backing away, looking around herself and squeaking in horror. The Fey shook her head. It was quite obvious that they had all been taken out of their own Land-under-the-skys, to this strange place. They were all afraid, and out of their depth – why make such a fuss! “Hey! Brown Female! Calm down, we aren’t going to hurt you!” She yelled over the din, but she didn’t seem to understand. Small-Bird-on-the-Wing sighed. She hoped that something would happen soon, or else that poor brown female’s head would explode from the vapours. ...don't bother to resist, or I'll beat you." {{OOC}}
