Double-edged Personality
Creative, engrossed, curious, brave, and ambitious describe Alery.
Alery tends to find all sorts of ways to entertain herself. She's fond of exercising her imagination ever since she was a child, such as by considering the tabletop a ceiling and the tablecloth as walls when she pretends such a location to be another smaller room on her fledgling explorations. As time continues to pass with her continuing to grow and go through more experiences in life, her creativity is utilized more, with a large enhancement in her studies, such as in forming concepts to remind her of lessons. An example of this would be pairing the mitral valve with the left ventricle of the heart since mitral starts with an m and ends with an l.
She can get really absorbed in what she's doing and may have to be called to again or some more times to get her attention. This trait helps her concentrate, but may also test the patience of others and negatively affects her guard in the process of her getting caught up in some things like reading or examining something. And with her responsibility's expansion as she endlessly quests to mature in wisdom, though she endeavors to keep balance in her time management on the path to strengthen her capabilities constantly as a healer, she may be reasonably predicted to be caught up in a medical text when encountered.
Alery also wants to know and learn about all sorts of things, what something does, names, meanings, and so on. And decidedly exploring the field of medicine has revealed to her that there is a great store of knowledge, unknowns, and possibilities in this pursuit.
Furthermore, she's the type to, for instance, still be willing to again try to climb to reach something that's caught her eye despite experiencing past consequence such as crying after falling down in a previous event. Recklessness is also possible for her, such as when very eager. Time has no bearing in this such determination of hers in that for example despite recognizing that her healer's path does not put focus mainly on combat, she remains ready to accept opportunities to function and improve as a fighter.
And, from observing experience, she wishes to become competent, too. In young enthusiasm, Alery is eager to learn as many things as she can so she will protect everyone and do lots of nifty things to help as well. She progressively sheds naivety with the days' onward processions, but even in her realizations of life's presentation of trials, she firmly keeps her optimism.
Her characteristics help enable her not to mind if and when she is both intentionally and unintentionally by herself. Because of this, too willful, too selfish, to speak and act solely due to her being concerned only of and ultimately for herself and her interests are what she may seem to others, such as those who are unfamiliar with her.

Bio
Alery is one of the four survivors who experienced the crash-landing of the colony ship Utopia. Her name is one of the very few flashes of memory from her past before cold sleep.
