Anastasia has spent most of her life alone, learning how to survive without any help and making her own way in the unoccupied wilds. Because of this, she has gained a bit of an attitude. It is not that she is cruel, or even that she is particularly arrogant – though she has earned the right to some cockiness. It is simply that she does not really know how to interact with others. This creates a certain distance between herself and others that she does not know how to close. Regardless, she is a good person at heart and she is quite brave. She is also very skilled in survival and herb-lore.
About:
Anastasia’s mother used to wander the world with no one but her daughter in tow. Generally, they stuck to the wilds, as her mother was quite the recluse. When Anastasia was quite young, her mother died, leaving her orphaned and alone in the middle of nowhere. Luckily, she was old enough to fend for herself by then, however, she did have to learn the hard way how to make use of her wings and how to hunt. Her mother had taught her a little herb lore before she died, and Anastasia expanded upon that as she grew. Her rough childhood and prolonged solitude have left their mark on her, but she is strong. She is willing to learn how to live in a community and make something of her life.

Personality:
Elowen’s moods are rather mercurial. Normally, she is a cheerful girl, quicker to laugh than yell, but she also has flashes of temper that tend to disappear as quickly and unexpectedly as they appear. She can let little mistakes go, but she is also very loyal, once her loyalty is given. Because of this, there is a certain line that, once crossed, can never be undone in her mind. In this, she is unforgiving. She also has a rather unfortunate habit of speaking her mind to whomever she desires, whatever their rank or age or position, so she does tend to come across as insubordinate at times. To be fair, she has the best of intentions at heart. After all, her practical nature demands that she address anything she deems necessary, however inappropriate to the situation it might be. Head-strong is perhaps an apt description of her. Head-strong, but noble-minded and good-hearted.

Dante is a bit of a Casanova and, unfortunately for his modesty, he is quite charming. More than one lady has fallen half in love with him…completely unintentional on his part, of course. It is not as though he wants to mislead them, it is simply that he admires most everything about the fairer sex and believes that they should be properly admired and pampered. Of course, it does not hurt that he enjoys flirting. The part that gets him into the most trouble, however, is that he is completely genuine in any compliments he may give or thoughts he may vocalize. This tends to make others think he means more by his flirting than he really intends. Regardless, there is more to this male than good looks and charisma. His mind can be quite philosophical and he has the heart of a hopelessly romantic poet. It is simply that he knows the knows the darker side of nature and believes that life is far too short to waste, so he grabs hold and seizes the moment, living for all he is worth.
