Barney, the Old Hermit Ahh... so you came.
How kind of you.
No food, no water?
Shame on you!
Alas I am a homely hermit in search of peace and of food.
The sins of my past caught up with me...
I am banned to this godforsaken place to serve the deities' purpose of handing their brats with their quest letter.
I must say, you look very weak.
You think you have what it takes to make it through the other side? (cackles)
You must be insane!
Nobody ever has done that before!
I tell you, I will help you.
The deities punished me, but I help you live to rub their noses into the mud!
(spits to the side in disgust)
Here is a list of rules in which you must follow and a list of things you can only bring.
Remember, I doing you a favor by helping you.
I could leave you to your own withering fate.
Just remember.

The Quest Rules What Is Required You have to post a minimum of 10 fully-descriptive RP posts to 1 RP plot post
You cannot god-mode at all; for instance, if you lost or broke something, you cannot reclaim it.
Each RP post must have a minimum of 10 sentences and full interaction with the scenery.
You cannot bring anyone else into the RP or RP anyone else's persona. This is for your character and your character alone.
Anyone caught breaking the rules will be disqualified and will be put back to basic with a penalty. Quests tend to change direction, so if new information is posted there by the Celestial Eclipse mule, please follow itWhat Your Child Can Do Hunt for food once your food supply is gone (small animals only)
Swim or even run in an RP, make sure you describe all this without it being sexually explicit.
Fight, but you must sustain minor or even massive injuries (after all, you must survive, right?)
Refill your water from a clean water source (this will be posted randomly in any given RP Plot post.) What Your Child Can't Do Cannot god-mode (pretend that they are invincible)
Cannot use any expendable items more than once like matches - once is used, is done.
Kill themselves (commit suicide)
Go a day without food
Cannot call it quits in the middle of the quest
Cannot ask a God or Goddess to help (there is none where you are)
Cannot use a cell phone or any type of transportation unless it is given in the RP Plot post.

List of Supplies Food and Drinks Ten protein bars (chocolate chip, oatmeal raisin, peanut butter, chocolate caramel cluster, or vanilla almond)
Two bags of trail mix
A large thermos for water
Dried fruits (raisins, prunes, apples, apricots, figs, or peaches) - your choice of two dried fruits in separate baggies.
Fruit powders (lemonade, grape, strawberry, or blackberry) for water Survival Kit Switchblade
Two water-proof matchboxes (15 matches each) or 1 lighter (30 usages, but isn't waterproof)
1 Roll of Gauze
1 Tube of antibiotic gel
Small box of band-aids (10 band-aids to a box)
A bottle of mild pain relievers (25 capsules to a bottle)
Tweezers
A thin needle and medical thread
Rock-climbing rope Miscellaneous Two outfits
Blanket
Journal
Two pens
Personal wipes
Compass
