Azekal NoxcisThe Doll MakerI greet you, fair stranger, and introduce myself as Elina Tok, a daughter of the Erlking. I has tread this earth for 375 years, yet you will see me as 25. I am a female who only has eyes for another elf. I have tread many paths but today I come to you as a Disc jockey, also supplements income by selling specialty dolls through the internet.. Let me describe myself to you... Despite the climate I’m currently living in, my skin has a year around tan. Probably comes from my Father, though I still have no clue. I recently died my hair a vibrant red, that’s broken up by a several streaks of gold in the bangs. I reach height of about 6'3"...which can add a certain quality to my grey eyes. When my path becomes rocky I will use pistols or my nails. Hear me out as I explain how I use them... The pistols should be pretty obvious in their use, though I only carry one on me at all times, the PSS silent pistol I got off an ex-FSB. I can also rip out human souls, which I use to make uncanny valley dolls, but that ability is extremely limited. Let me show my strength... I’ve an enchanting voice that I use to lead various people astray, and into my clutches. I’ve limited access to the black market…a wider range of traveling privileges from my humanoid appearance. ...And hide my vulnerabilities. Anything that a human suffers from I will more than likely suffer from as well. I also have to wear my hair down during the day or else the lessers will see my ears…also I tend to travel at night where I’m less likely to encounter the police. I also take more damage from cold iron, but thankfully this modern world is filled with iron alloys. I’ve got the money, I’ve got the place. You’ve got the figure, You’ve got the face… Let me tell you the story... I don’t remember much of the first two centuries of my life, though I do remember specific events. Like when I realized why the Erlking forced us underground in a massive Necropolis. He said it was defensive strategy that allowed the more aggressive of my sisters to strike back at the humans from secret. While it did work, for a time, it had one massive drawback. If the “lesser” ever discovered where my sisters were striking from, they’d surely bring scores of soldiers toward the underground Necropolis to scorch our last home.
…And they did, at the end of the Great Discovery. However the “lessers,” as the Erlking called them, would be in for a shock. I wasn’t sure what caused us to move at first, from the Necropolis, before the humans discovered our location but I was hell-bent on finding out. So when I had enough time to myself, about a day or two, and we were within travelling distance, I ventured back into the old necropolis to discover why we left such a grand structure. Little did I know that I would be in for a shock, when I discovered the ruined throne room or what amounted to a throne room. The stone that composed the roof was crumbling away, moss was on the walls doing it’s best to convert the carved stone, and there in the middle, illuminated by a stray beam of light, was a massive black Alder tree. Planted right where the throne would’ve been, right where my sisters and my Father used to sit before me and my sisters left.
Upon closer inspection, and with some mild dread, I discovered that a face seemed to be present in the trunk of the tree; one that looked to be solemn or possibly filled with regret, as if the owner wanted to do more in the world. I’m not sure why it didn’t hit me when I was in the Necropolis’ makeshift throne room, though it might’ve explained why I cried that night. Only later did I acknowledge that the massive Black Alder was in fact, my father, the Erlking.
This was probably the catalyst that sparked my vengeful side. From what I could learn about the Erlking’s death, which basically summed up hunting down my older sisters, he was driven to an early grave by a monster hunter by the name of Heinrich. Apparently Heinrich’s child was suffering from a fever dream as his father tried to get him to a doctor…or what could pass for one back then. Supposedly my sisters and my beloved father, the Erlking, was attacking the sick child while Heinrich tried his best at going faster and quieting his son’s fears. Needless to say the child died from the fever, and a fearful heat…but Heinrich came to believe his son’s words when he discovered Viktor, his child, dead in his arms.
That galvanized the man into hunting my father down and into his grave…’Twas only logically that I would do the same for him! What a decade that was! Being the equivalent to a vengeful spirit, harassing that blasted human at every turn! Crushing him emotionally by getting his wife committed to an asylum for sharing a bed with me, though the absolute best was when he heard my deceptive callings and ran towards me, believing me to be his wife. The look on his face as he began to slowly realize the difference between me and her, but it was too late since I had already worked my spell and was in the process of ripping out his soul.
Of course, I couldn’t just leave Heinrich’s soul as just that. Oh no! It’d soon dissipate, and that’d do my vengeful spark no good if I couldn’t keep it as a trophy. This desire to keep Heinrich’s soul as some sort of trophy led me to learning about transmutation…well a very specific transmutation spell. One that’d let me shape his soul into anything I wanted, and what I wanted most was a doll of my father! So I learned the spell and I crafted the blighted huntsman’s soul into a wooden doll, made from black alder that resembled my father…and would serve as a reminder for why my father considered them to be “lesser.”
Funny enough, as the decades progressed and the humans advanced, I built up a nice little doll collection that kept getting more advanced with every half-century. Funny considering that by the turn of the millennium, I had enough to fill up an entire room. I also find it humorous still that the idea of selling them on the internet came from a human that I lived near. He was always a strange fellow and he made a nice addition to my collection after he saw me coming out of my shower… with my hair up and ears on display. ...Of what I have become. Ever since I hunted down Heinrich, and avenged my father’s death, I’ve been eerily calm for a century. Nothing would get a reaction out of me, if threats or pranks were directed at me. It’s really strange, apparently so strange that my sisters find it to be unsettling. Which they somehow realized was something to be valued…something I still don’t get despite the fact whenever I meet one of my sisters they ask me how it happened.
However, unknown to my sisters, I do remember one time where something pulled on my heartstrings. I think it was…during the nineteenth century or possibly early twentieth. Either way, I met a woman who suffered at the hands of her abusive, lecherous husband…who seemed to scream victim, but there was a fire in her soul. Needless to say, I kind of fell for her and I was furious when I discovered what her husband did. This caused me to become a vengeful spirit once more, though for an entirely difference. It wasn’t about recovering someone’s honor, or at least in my eyes it wasn’t…No it was about validating my love for her, and get a chance at something of a normal life, for a time. However such a thing wasn’t too be. After I told her about the death of her husband, possibly implying that I had a hand in it. It was going great for about a week or so, until I stopped covering my ears up. She…might’ve gotten spooked by such a revelation, after all the genocides of the Reformation were still currently being told through generation, and called me a monster.
Now that hurt, more than any wound I sustained from human abilities. I tried to calm her, telling her that I wasn’t one, that her wretched back-stabbing husband was a monster. She’d have none of it, and the relationship that I worked so hard to build collapsed in a matter of hours. I debated on ripping out her soul, to keep as a remainder and a memento, of happy times and of a hard lesson I learned that day. I’m not sure what possessed me, but I turned the husband’s soul into another doll. A doll of me, well of what I looked like while I paraded around as a human, which was special to say the least. While some Haitians might’ve called it a voodoo doll or something similar, the doll was able to absorb my lost-love’s pain, and anguish. I’m not sure if she kept it or not, but the entire ordeal re-enforced the fact that one shouldn’t become friends with humans.
It was this same ordeal that also fed my growing apathy for anything other then folklore kind. Now my apathy more than likely feeds into why I’m so calm. Something about outliving any human transgression, or the ilk. If you listen, you will hear that I like: Techno and classical music, the feel of soft supple skin, children to a degree, tea spiked with about six teaspoons of sugar, also dancing. If you look, you will see I despise: Rather bland or bitter drinks, people that are a little too curious for their own good, honor and chivalry… Bees as well. A sin for him, desire within…

mdu_ntrThe Nightmare ArtistI greet you, fair stranger, and introduce myself as Tikus Nachtsbane (aka Tik) the Alp. I has tread this earth for 129 years, yet you will see me as ten to twelve. I am a male who only has eyes for anybody. I have tread many paths but today I come to you as a nightmare artist; I create dreams for people or their prey. Let me describe myself to you... My skin is pure white and my hair and eyes are black. I have boney features and my fingernails are long and scratchy. I stand about five foot tall on a good day and never wear anything other than robes and my Tarnkappe.
Everywhere I go I wear my Tarnkappe, which is a gatsby with a black feather on top. It's held there by a knuckle bone of my mother, the one that had my father's ring in it, which is still in her grave. I polished the knuckle until it shone like fine bone china. No matter which form I am in, I still retain my beloved Tarnkappe. If I were to lose my hat I would lose all my powers so I am very protective of it.
The other forms I can change into include cats, pigs, dogs, horses, birds, mice, snakes and white butterflies. I look like any normal animal except for my Tarnekappe, which changes in size to fit my head perfectly. I can only speak the way I speak in my true form but I like to pretend I can meow, oink, bark, neigh, tweet, squeak and hiss. Butterflies don't make a noise that humans can hear so I never bother pretending in that form. When my path becomes rocky I will use Alptraum, Alpdruck, shapeshifting and the evil eye. Hear me out as I explain how I use them... Why fight when you can trick?
Alptraum is a type of spirit possession I can use on sleeping people. I turn myself into mist and enter them through the nose or mouth. I then give them nightmares such as you have never known. Sometimes my hauntings are sporadic but when I feel venegful I will haunt a person every night until I drive them insane. If a person ever wakes up, I move out of their body to sit on their chest and grin. When I see the look on their face I laugh in their face, turn into mist and disappear the way I came. Unless they offer me a gift or coffee, I return the next night to do the Alpdruck.
Alpdruck is where I make my body heavier and heavier until a person cannot breathe. I can crush their ribs, leave feet shaped bruises or press just enough that they snore and splutter. Some wake up and others never wake up again... I think the doctors call it sleep apnea and sleep paralysis. Oh wait, sleep paralysis is what I do as they wake. He he he.
As an alp, I am able to shapeshift into a number of creatures: cats, pigs, dogs, horses, birds, mice, snakes and white butterflies. If it came to a fight situation, I'd probably turn into mist or a horse to attack. I don't carry weapons; they're annoying junk.
The last trick in my arsenal is my evil eye. My right eye is able to inflict injury and misfortune. Should I glare at you with my right eye you will become sick or bad things will happen to you. I'm not going to tell you when, where or how it will happen but it will happen. Let me show my strength... Alptraum, Alpdruck, shapeshifting, I can laugh almost anything off, I'm not harmed by sunlight and my right eye gives the evil eye. ...And hide my vulnerabilities. I can't pass as human, lemons in my mouth weaken me, iron horseshoes pointed "U" way up on a door stop me getting in the room, iron horseshoes pointed "U" way up above a bed stop me getting on the sleeper, losing my Tarnkappe would make me lose my powers, injuring my right eye can make me lose my evil eye and I can only leave a prey's room the way I entered. Ding dong! The doctor's dead... Let me tell you the story... I spent the first years of my life travelling through Germany and finding out about what I could do to people. I survived mostly on stolen milk. When I couldn't get milk I'd drink blood from human nipples. I visited all sorts of human men, women and children. Children were the best though. I could make up any dream I wanted, be as creative as I wanted and nobody would think twice about what they said. Eventually I would use Alpdruck on them to wake them. Frightened children are so easy to wake and when they do...
They scream so much they pee themselves!
Ba! Ha ha, ha ha, haaa!
When my children prey woke up, I would disappear into mist, leaving a cackling grin in front of their faces. When the door was opened I would disappear completely, as to not be spotted by adults. I loved watching them as a mouse from under their beds. Their parents would come in and the children started crying. I loved it when the family would start fighting and take to kid to a councillor. After that I would not return to the child return. I'd done my job; the child's fear of sleeping would do the rest.
Sometimes, when I passed the town again on my travels, I would come to the house to see how the child turned out. Sometimes I would even to give them a second dosage of my art.
When I haunted adults I would put more thought into my nightmares and more thought into how I built up the human's fear. I would start off small: locking and unlocking doors, spooking animals or even drinking their milk. I would then get worse and worse: slamming doors, tying their hair in elfknots, dropping things from shelves and applying light Alpdruck. When they started to get uncomfortable I'd start with the full blown Alptraum and Alpdruck. I'd keep them asleep just long enough to wreath in night terror before waking them. I'd never let them see me. I wanted to make them dread falling asleep at night. If they tried anything to rid themselves of demons... I would get nasty. I'd even go so far as to haunt them in others' houses. Nothing gave me greater satisfaction than winning the game.
Nothing, that is, except gifts.
In my younger days I came across a human child, a female one. Her father used to work late and wore the overcoat home on snowy or rainy nights. She was afraid of the overcoat after I'd given her dreams of it strangling her. Some nights I would wrap it around her neck while I had her in a deep sleep. I would then suck blood from her n****e before waking her. It wasn't until many years later I realised how important she'd become to me.
I came across the human female in the years after her children had left for a human war and her husband had died. She lived all alone in her husband's house. I hadn't meant to track her down; it was one of my chance visits. She had woken up faster than I had expected and sat staring at me through the light from a window. She didn't scream. She continued looking at me until she offered to share a cup of coffee with me in the morning. I agreed and vanished through the window I'd entered.
That morning I found her sitting at her table with two cups of coffee: one for her and one for me. She told me a tale of how she believed she had once been visited by an alp. She told of how she had written the nightmares and everything the alp had done to her into a journal, which she had then used to create a book with. The book had been a success; she'd been accepted into a literature degree at university, where she had met her husband. She told me of how the alp's haunting had changed her life for the better, how she was grateful to the alp.
I did not expect this; not one bit. I disappeared and spent the entire day and night brooding over it. As much as I paced and tried to distract myself, I couldn't stop thinking about the woman. I would have to see her again. I sat by her window, staring in at her but didn't enter. Even though I was hidden from view, she opened the window when she woke up and left the room. When I went to investigate, I found her sitting at the table with two cups of coffee: one for her and one for me.
The woman and I spoke until it was time for her to leave. I knew she was the little girl I had once tricked with the overcoat. I knew I should have left, that she knew too much about alps. Instead, I demanded the book from her, which she returned with the next morning.
It didn't take long for us to become friends. I would even follow her some days as a dog with a hat. The other humans around her thought it a cute oddity but I was content in my obsession with the human. While she slept I would find trinkets and pretty rocks then put them in her slippers. They stank like human but she would not let me throw them out.
One day, I noticed Herta coughing. She told me she had influenza and needed to go to the doctor. She told me a doctor was someone who took care of the sick. Well, she went to the doctor but he only made her sicker. She got tired and would wake up at night coughing until blood came out. She would go to the doctor more and she would get sicker. Apparently she had lung cancer from smoking as a young woman. I blamed the doctor. When she was taken to hospital the doctor lurked over her day and night. It was under the doctor's care that she died. He'd killed her with his medicines and liquids and fancy beds. If I'd had my way, one of us mythical creatures would have helped her.
I decided then and there to get revenge on the doctor. I plagued his nights with guilt over his death. I pressed on his chest until he'd cough blood like she did. I tied his hair in elfknots until he had it shaved. I unscrewed the doors so they would fall on him when they opened. I haunted him so much he was afraid to sleep at night. He opted to only do night shifts at the hospital and slept during the day. He became an alcoholic and ended up being fired. He blamed it all on guilt and lack of sleep. He could not bring himself to believe that I was doing these things to him. I would scurry about the house as a white mouse in a hat, taunting him, but he thought I was a drunken hallucination. He would get angry at the "hallucination" and chase it about the house. He always wanted to stomp on me (the hallucination). When I ran behind a chest of drawers he threw it to the floor. He started kicking it and shouting in a drunken rage until finally his gun fell out from his sock drawer. He picked it up and stared at it, sinking to the floor and sobbing into his knees. He placed the gun to his temple and...
BANG!
Blood oozed across his carpet floor. I stuck my finger in it and sucked on my sweet revenge. I vanished, my voice carrying through the town, "ding, dong the doctor's dead. I made him put a gun to his head."
After I had finished my haunting, I moved on from Germany. It was while I travelled through the eastern countries in Europe that I found out about Die Synode von Mitternacht. It wasn't until then that I noticed just how few nonhuman beings I'd come across. I wanted to investigate.
It was at Die Synode that I learnt more about the Great Discovery and how we'd gone into hiding. I don't like being in hiding and do everything I can to get us noticed by humans. I agree with the Unseelie Court, who think the humans should fear us once again. We have secretly grown in number and it is our time to take advantage of the humans' short collective memory. They don't know about us anymore, they don't know our weaknesses and they don't know what we can do. We should show them. ...Of what I have become. I live in a den in the Ural mountains. I use it as a place to stash my strawberry milk and crash during the day. I don't spend much time in it because I'm always on the move. I prefer to live life haunting humans than hidden away in a mountain range. I only stay there when I have people to meet and things to do, such as selling my nightmares.
I can create nightmares like nobody would ever want. I can create happy, sad, terrifying or any type of dream a customer wants for their prey. All they have to do is describe it for me. I'll turn into mist and seep into a stoppered bottle, where I deposit the dream and escape. The being then hold the bottle under their prey's nose and wathes as the nightmare seeps out. I sell these on Scamper and give them to the Unseelie. I'm very particular about who I give them to though. I don't want every mythical creature pretending to be an alp. I'm proud of my heritage and my art.
I am an obsessive haunter. I only haunt alone too... unless of course I'm bringing someone along for the show. When I choose my prey I won't stop until they catch me (which is sometimes fun) or I succeed in terrorising them sufficiently. I tend to be vengeful too. I'm fine with people until they anger me, then I will go to any length to destroy their lives.
Whether it be human or mythical being, I love startling and scaring people. Sometimes I'll pull tricks on other creatures or sit on their chest to wake them. It's all in the name of fun and my tricks don't get cruel unless they anger me. If you listen, you will hear that I like: Strawberry milk, kaluah and milk, iced coffee, blood from the nipples of men and women, pregnant woman, waking people after feeding on them, the looks on people's faces when I wake them, my Tarnkappe, driving my prey insane, mental institutions (those people are a blast!), psychologists (they're the best way to find good prey), startling horses, milking cows, cow farms, horror movies (they're so funny), pulling pranks on other creatures, cameras, gifts; and getting caught, being offered gifts then talking to humans. If you look, you will see I despise: Snot, nosehair, drinking from hairy people, babies, lemons, lemonade, sour things, happy movies, hearing kareoke, Die Synode's rules, getting in trouble for getting noticed, iron horseshoes placed above beds and on doorways. ...I made him put a gun to his head.

AlykiaThe Ravenous JumperI greet you, fair stranger, and introduce myself as Axsar Rudenbak the Hai-uri. I has tread this earth for 77 years, yet you will see me as 26? I am a male who only has eyes for nobody. I have tread many paths but today I come to you as a devourer of humans. Let me describe myself to you... Let's see; I walk around in the buff as some might call it. I'm a fairly skinny looking individual with a dinosaur looking head. My eyes are sunken into my skull and seem to be pitch black most of the time; but there are certain moments when they glow red like blood. I have a long strong tongue that has its uses. Of course I have sharp black nails and razor sharp teeth. Then there is my dark hair that spikes backwards.
Oh! I almost forgot something extremely important. You will only be able to see half of me. Yes, you can see my innards: as if I was cleanly cut in two even pieces. Surprisingly, everything works fine and blood doesn't drip; after all, there isn't a wound. I mean it's not like my body is really cut in half: it's complicated. When my path becomes rocky I will use my claws and teeth. Hear me out as I explain how I use them... I pretty much just jump and tear into your skin with my nails. People tend to be so shocked that I have only half a body that I am digging my teeth into them before they even realize it. More and more I don't even bother dragging them to the other world. Granted, I kind of have to in order to feed my other half. Let me show my strength... I am surprisingly quick and agile even though I only have half of my body to work with. I can also go invisible to a certain degree. You see; the scenery behind me will get distorted as I move and you can make out my outline if you look hard enough. ...And hide my vulnerabilities. I don't listen to anyone because I don't care to know or want to know anything more than I feel is necessary. I also have an intense hunger for things (not just eating humans) that drives me to do whatever I end up doing. I am pretty much just an out of control monster. "I need to feed!" Let me tell you the story... There isn't much to tell about me and my past. I mean I am young as far as mythical creatures are concerned. I have been half-in and half-out of the human world for as long as I remember. No, it doesn't feel weird being in to realms at the same time: in fact it feels like nothing. Don't even try to stab the part of me that's not in the human world because you'll be attacking thin air. That's just how it's always been: don't ask me the specifics. My whole life has been purely about survival. All I do is jump around (because I am good at it) and eat humans. I know nothing else. That's it. My past, present and future is all the same for me: simple. This might be part of the reason that I don't care to know anything about what is going on around me. There is no point so I never bothered: deal with it.
I did hear of an old story though: of course it is related to me. Why would I listen to it otherwise? It was about a curse that was put on my ancestors eons ago: maybe by the humans. Many believe that is why I have to deal with half my body being in the human world. Ah whatever. I don't remember the details of the story. In any case, I hate my situation to a degree; but also like it. I mean it sucks being stuck in-between like I am all of the time. At the same time, I get to see things that others would never come to know. Not that it does me much good.
Well, that's it. I have nothing else to say so scram before I get hungry. ...Of what I have become. What can I say? I am a ravenous thing. The hunger drives me to the core: it controls me. All I care about is catching my prey so that I can satisfy my craving for tender flesh and juicy innards. I am also a bit jealous of the other creatures; after all, they aren't stuck in to different realms. They are free to wandering in the human plane. What else? Oh I am quite oblivious about anything that isn't directly related to me: which is a lot. If you try to enlighten me I will either ignore you or get rid of you in some fashion. Silent: I don't speak period. I don't even make much noise unless I am crushing someones bones with my teeth. With that said, there are rare occasions where I might utter a word or two if I must. In general, you can understand me enough through my actions. I guess the only other thing worth knowing is that I am selfish. I only care about myself and take what I want when I want it. I will never help you even if you found a way to change my situation. Don't bother with me and just let me do what I do. If you listen, you will hear that I like: Being half-in and half-out, satisfying my hunger and eating humans, jumping If you look, you will see I despise: Being half-in and half-out, the constant hunger, all creatures that can wander more freely Tear. Rip. Crunch. Swallow.

Wavey-tyanThe Hanged ManI greet you, fair stranger, and introduce myself as Arthur Lugh Mahdi the cripple. I has tread this earth for twenty-seven years, yet you will see me as twenty-seven. I am a man who only has eyes for women. I have tread many paths but today I come to you as a lost traveler. Let me describe myself to you... I think I'll start from my head and work my way down. My hair is a nice red-orange color, and it is typically straight. On some days, it can get a tiny bit wavy, however. Despite my best efforts to comb it, some bits and pieces still stick out, which aggravates me a little. I have blue-gray eyes that I've been told are rather handsome. I like to think of them as the eyes of a gunslinger, but that sounds overdramatic, so I keep that thought to myself. I do need glasses to see properly, so I wear those almost always, lest I be unable to see.
My overall build is rather thin, and I am slightly taller than average at six feet and four inches. My ribs are barely kept from showing through my skin, and my arms are just about stick-like in appearance. My frame is largely devoid of fat, but it does still have a bit of muscle from my more recent physical therapy sessions. I also have rather a lot of scars on my person. I'll get to why I have them later.
Oh, before I stray too far from the subject of physical therapy, my right leg is missing. In its place, I have a pretty nice prosthetic leg that my Dad made some "modifications" to. Knowing him, he probably installed a shotgun in it somehow, or converted it into a grenade launcher. Actually, I don't use the leg to walk, nor did I ever learn how to use it. For the most part, I've been getting around using my well-used wheelchair. When my path becomes rocky I will use my HK USP Compact (.45) and my huge-a** Bowie knife. Hear me out as I explain how I use them... Honestly, I don't even really use them. When I left home to travel, Mom and Dad would NOT compromise about packing some way to defend myself. So even though I can't really use these things that well, I have them with me for safety. Oh, and yes, the gun and knife are hidden somewhere on my person, and no, I will not tell you where they are holstered. Let me show my strength... I have a firm grasp of the German language, I can read the Tarot, and I majored in engineering in college. ...And hide my vulnerabilities. I'm rather crippled, I have a ridiculous inferiority complex, have horribly bad luck, and I have a very bad fear of heights. I always keep a rabbit's foot and an oversized metal poker chip on my person as lucky charms. Let me tell you the story... For starters, Dad is an engineer of some sort. I'm almost certain that he develops weapons, because every time he reads Guns and Ammo, he snickers a little and says "Oh, how little they know." Mom does something with the U.S. military, as far as I know. I think she works with...SOCOM...? SATCOM...? Something like that. Their jobs have always kept them away, sometimes for months at a time.
Moving right along, I was in a helicopter crash when I was in elementary school. That was when I lost my leg and got all of my scars. Since then, I've been able to get around using a wheelchair. I got pushed down a flight of stairs and broke my collarbone a few years ago, and that was when it was decided that I should have a replacement leg. So yeah. Ta-dah, prosthetic leg. Not like I've ever used it. My wheelchair just feels natural to me now.
Ever since the accident, I've been a bit of a pariah. Maybe it's because I'm crippled, or because of my scars, or even because of my rather misanthropic ways. It's probably all three, honestly. Regardless of my social tendencies, I got through college, majoring in engineering and studying the German language on the side. I got a job in the States for a while, but recently I decided to take off for Europe. Hell if I know why, but I did. It's not like I didn't have the money, especially considering that I was pretty good about finding the cheapest deals.
So yeah, now I'm kinda lost somewhere in the Urals. Fun, huh? I'm surprised I haven't been robbed and killed yet. ...Of what I have become. Since the accident, I've become...a little abrasive, I suppose you could say. I'm a pretty big cynic, and I just don't see the good in the world any more. Additionally, I've got a bit of a misanthropic side from being something of a pariah for most of my life. These qualities lead to me being rather unlikeable, but whatever. I'm not exactly out to make any friends. But apparently, my dry and sarcastic sense of humor leads some people to actually like me. Go figure, right? If you listen, you will hear that I like: My wheelchair, being on solid ground, instant ramen, and quiet places. If you look, you will see I despise: Heights, being at sea, spicy food, and people in general. "A cripple walks among you, all you tired human beings..."

AlykiaThe Double AgentI greet you, fair stranger, and introduce myself as Victoria Reynolds the Doppelganger. I has tread this earth for 50 years, yet you will see me as 27. I am a female who only has eyes for anybody. I have tread many paths but today I come to you as a hostess at the club. Let me describe myself to you... I have many different looks because I am constantly changing my appearance. In my original form, I have bright red hair with matching eyes. My skin makes me look more like a doll because it is white with a slight red tint that seems to glisten like plastic: although it feels like silk to the touch. I also have an odd mark that is in the shape of an upside down heart dripping like a tear: usually I cover it up with some special makeup though. When my path becomes rocky I will use others. Hear me out as I explain how I use them... I don't really have a type of fighting style. In general, I am sneaky I suppose; but I can also get someone to do the dirty work for me. I like to watch the chaos that ensues around me as if it was an act in a play that I was directing.
As for my power, I can morph into another humanoid at will. There are certain rules though. For instance, if a human sees their double, in other words me looking like them, then it is time for them to die. I'm sorry: it must be done. Granted, normally the people I copy have to die at some point anyway; but still. I also can't morph into others willy-nilly. You see; I have to stick with the current person until they are dead. Of course I can change back into my original form whenever I want. I can morph into people that I have copied and killed in the past for a short period of time if I really need to though. When it comes to humanoids, or creatures that can pass off as humans to some degree, I can change into them as well. There is no killing involved and I can't do it for a long amount of time though. Let me show my strength... I am really good at reading people and taking on their traits. In fact, I love getting into the role I am playing whenever I am being someone else. This also means that I am good at dealing with others and manipulating them as I please. On an unrelated note, I am quite flexible. ...And hide my vulnerabilities. The biggest issue with me is that my personality isn't really my own. The older I get; the harder it is to figure out who I really am. I am also self-conscious about my original appearance; so I don't take kindly to certain things that are said to me. "Humans are pathetic and weak." Let me tell you the story... Compared to the other creatures; I am quite young. My parents wanted to raise me with the humans so I could get used to how they were. Still, they took the time to teach me about other creatures and our past: when I was old enough of course. After all, they couldn't be talking about such things to the human kids. I always wore colored contacts and covered the mark on my cheek. Even though they tried to help me fit in; it just wasn't working that well. The kids always teased me about my doll like skin.
We moved when I was about to go into middle school. My parents were trying to give me a new start with everything. That's when I met my first real friend: or so I thought. Everything was fine with him until my junior year of high school. That person betrayed me in the worse possible way; but let's not get into the details. You know what I did next though? I killed him; but not before I made him suffer and ruined his name. It gave me a thrill that I have never experienced before.
Of course my parents realized what happened and we moved to where I live now. They tried to get me to go to school again for a year or so; but I refused. Soon I started interacting with the creatures that lived in the mountains nearby. There I learned a whole new set of things. They wanted to use my talents to infiltrate the humans: not like I cared. I was happy to be a spy for them. For the past 25 years, I have been immersing myself in the human way of life while getting priceless information for the other creatures. Sometimes they give me specific tasks; but normally I can do whatever I want (within reason) as long as it produces results. I enjoy what I do: humans are disgusting and deserve what's coming to them. ...Of what I have become. I am extremely mysterious, creative and deceptive because of the power that I have. There isn't much more to say about that; besides the fact that you can never trust what may come out of my mouth next. I might not lie flat out; but there are convenient loopholes for everything. In general, I am quite playful and sultry. I suppose I learned to be this way because it seemed more fun. It just makes things easier for me in general. Plus, the way I was when I was younger was obviously getting me nowhere: nothing but pain and loneliness. The only part of me that might be connected to my old self is my creative playful side. Even so, I use my creativeness for darker purposes and my playfulness can be quite mean nowadays. If you listen, you will hear that I like: The color of blood, toying with others, taking on a new persona, the look they get when the see themselves, If you look, you will see I despise: Humans, realizing that I lost myself in the sea of other personas, quiet places, "Entertain me and embrace your fate."
