Welcome to our Chinese New Year's Event!!
Many Asians may have heard of this. Chinese New Year is a very special event in my culture. It will be fun to let you guys come join us too. So hopefully, you have the time to participate with us. Follow our group events, and we hope you have time to join us in a hangout in the Towns location soon. Chinese New Year starts tomorrow and ends on the 15th of February.

In China, red is always the color. Many of you have been in Chinatown before. You see, most of the buildings there are red. Red represents the China flag and it represents luck too. There are many more things that the color "red" represents.
During Chinese New Year, people wear red and we will too. Wear some kind of stylish and designed Asian outfits that maybe fit the Chinese New Year culture. Your outfit doesn't have to be all red, but most of it does have to be red. Global Imports is a wonderful store on Gaia to buy this stuff so why don't you browse through it and see what best fits you for Chinese New Year.

It's a brand new year! Keep everything nice so then your year of life in 2011 will be nice. If you cry then you'll cry for the rest of the year. If you get hit, you'll get hit for the rest of the year. Sounds clear! So that's why, we clean up before the great events come to start off great. If Ciriculas is nasty, it will be nasty for the rest of the year. If the members here who are inactive, they'll stay inactive for the rest of the year.
Well I.D.K! That's just how it is. I don't know how they will make you cry for the rest of the year. It's just like your religion is forcing you to do it and you don't know how to stop yourself. It's like drugs! We hope none of you are like that. It's BAD!!
Simple and easy! We will move unused, expired, spamming, or topics like that to the Storage Bin so Ciriculas will look shiny again. Ciriculas doesn't want loads of those threads in one forum.
Get it organized once again!

What is red? It is a very special color in China. As far as I know, it means luck and the war long, long times ago in China. Red is used to represent many things. For example, buildings, arches, towns, weddings, holidays, dragons, etc. Post 1 color have some info about red too in the first part of the post.
The envelopes are red too! Those envelopes are used during Chinese New Year when someone wishes you with those heart felt words. You reward them money in a red envelope. Mostly, people put about 5-40 dollars in those envolopes. As of Gaia gold, we add 2 zeros to how much money you want for give out. For example; if you want to give out $10, then add 2 zeroes to it. It makes the number 1,000. So that's how much gold you will give them if you want to give them $10 since they wished you that.
When wishing, you don't just wish them one thing, wish them like a couple so there year will go great.
On Gaia, there are no envelopes. You can trade. You can't send an envelope on your trade. In that case, you can send them an item the might like in a red gift box with a great message. This isn't private so you should post this in there comments or wherever they leave there messages. When trade, the best way to do it is send them the money with a Happy Chinese New Year message or something, only if them wished you.

We can't eat on Gaia. But as you know, we sit together and eat delicious food on a designed red table. You eat with the Chinese music on and get the groove movin'! You can try as well. Just hop to the store. Try some of the delicious and food that you can only eat during Chinese New Year!
Here are some of the food we eat. Are you getting hungry?? The food is yummy right? Haha yeaa!

I'm not sure what the food is called so it is best for me to show you pictures. I can't read or write in Chinese and I will learn how to soon in Chinese school. It is awesome to be part of the Chinese culture to enjoy so much fun! Don't worry! This isn't racism! We will celebrate your country's new year too(if we know about it)!
