The site is: http://www.mangolanguages.com/I saw a girl talking about this in GI forum. She her thread here. Apparently the site costs money but if you sign on via a site from your library (or school perhaps) its free. Does anyone have additional info on this? A library sort of near me has it, but they're ridiculous and dont follow the rest of the library systems in the state so....I've not bothered yet.

Seems like this is a K-12 deal... I don't think my school would offer this.

I just signed up and tried it a bit for beginner Japanese. I like how for Japanese it showed the hiragana and only romaji if you put your mouse on top of the word. It seems pretty repetative but it helps you remember instead of forgetting the word a second later. It seems to give you a sentence, break it down, and the built it together again. Then give you a new word to make pretty much the same sentence as before but with one different word. With the sentences one thing I really like is it colour codes them so even if the word order is different it just really helps show you which words mean what and how they fit together.
EDIT: I just looked at the review for French and it seems like it would mostly just goes to a pretty basic level that's probably about maybe tourist survival language. But I guess it's nice just to learn some basics and get your foot in the door.

This is an awesome site. I used my library card to log in, I've been distracted for the past hour.

I have to add this now. MAN that thing is addicting. It's pretty fun. I would probably keep working through it until I was done if it weren't for the fact I have to get to bed since I have to go to school. D:

Flower Gatherer This is an awesome site. I used my library card to log in, I've been distracted for the past hour. Did you log in on the Mango site or get re-directed through your libraries site? ALSO: I was told it has Arabic, but i dont see Arabic. Am I blind?

Can you login from home for free if you register at a library? Too much of a hassle to go to the library every time you want to study imo...

I just went to the mango site from my library's site. So you can do it at home. If your library does have mango languages you just need to make sure you have a working library card.

I joined it when it was in beta a while ago, my thoughts only concern the Japanese lessons, and they may have changed them since the beta, but it just looked more like a phrasebook than something for serious language learners. Even Rosetta Stone is a better option...
