I beg for your assistance.

Could you please, O'Math wizard, explain to me the shell method?

You're given y = x ^2, y = 4x-x^2, rotated about the line x = 2. I've read the book, but I still don't really get it.

As of now my equaiton is: (Int = integral sign)

Int from 4 to 0 of x(4x-x^2)d - Int from 4 to 0 of x(x^2)dx

I'm not sure, I know for shells, y is if you do vertical, x is for horizontal, but is it hte opposite for shells? However do you maeke y = 4x-x^2 in terms of y?!!


Or am I only supposed to seperate them out in terms of regions? HELP!

Well, I speak English and French, but I'm learning Japanese and Italian.
I can read and write in Japanese better than I can speak, though. sweatdrop
I really would love to take many language courses in university, but with
my current program, I can't take too many more electives...
