Soeme guy shared this website in another thread and I decided to share it with the masses of this guild rofl I've been on it for like 10 minutes and its seriously awesome.

You can: Make flash cards, share flashcards, print flashcards or just look at them! Flashcards have always helped me so this will be good for me 4laugh

Anyhow, I think the interface used to be better. Then again, I like simple, minimalistic things. The current Flashcardexchange.com interface is more KDE motto than GNOME (or Xmonad, as it may be)

How is it in comparison to Anki?

How is it in comparison to Anki?

I'm a heavy Anki user, and here are my thoughts on it, based on a look around the Japanese section .

* Decks are mostly textbook related, bad for those who don't use textbooks or are advanced.

* Flashcards are mainly word based, not sentence based unfortunately.

* The only answers are "Correct" and "Incorrect", no "Hard" or "Easy", etc.

* Flashcard Memory game is kind of fun, but not that great

* The cards seem to be editable, but I couldn't figure out how to do it.

*The cards seem to have no extra fields besides Question/Answer.

Overall I think I'll stick with Anki, but the site might be useful for some.

As in, paper cards? That's great! I tried those and couldn't find a systematic way to review them, I'm glad they work for you though. ^-^

No as in flashcardexchange.com. I always have my laptop on me. I can never remember to bring actual flashcards.

Eh, you're right. Just got a chance to try it. I don't like it as much; it's too simplistic. emo But I do like some of the content which I'll be using~
