Oh, yeah. I totally went there. Pokemon have been around seemingly forever and will probably CONTINUE to be around. While I'm not "obsessed" with them, I do love them.
So yeah! This thread is about all things Pokemon: the card game, the series in other countries, the video games, the anime, the characters, the different regions, the manga, Shiny, Eggs, Team Rocket/Aqua/Magma/whatever else is out there, just everything.
Now my turn! c:
I'm a fan of Fire and Water-type Pokemon. My favorites include Floatzel, Bruizel, Shaymin, Piplup, Miltank, Lapras, Vulpix, and Pokabu. I like all the seasons of Pokemon. My favorite starter trio is the Jhoto and Isshu trio. My favorite Pokemon dub is the Korean, though I've watched parts of the Japanese and English. My favorite Eevee evolution is Jolteon.
Whoot!

My favorites are the cute ones. I only catch the cute ones. If it's not cute, I kill it or run from it. I get yelled at by my brother a lot of doing this because he says it's a waste because they're all so weak. But I train my group to be strong and cute at the same time! And there are strong cute ones. Like Mew, Jirachi, Lugia, Wigglytuff, Blissey... But I really like the weakish cute ones too and keep them on my team for the love. I love Spheal!!! He makes me happy and I want his stuffie.
Also people need to back the eff off of the new starters. They are adorable and anyone who says otherwise is just jealous that they can't be that cute.

And that's about it. 3nodding

I'm with you on the cute. All the way. And the starters, because they are cute, and the grass Pokemon's evolutions are pretty neat. If I ever get the game, I'm starting out with Pokabu and never evolving it.

I didn't know they had more starters! eek I like grass types. . . a lot. Especially bulbasaur and chickorita! heart
I also like houndoom for some reason (probably because it looks like a hellhound). I also prefer mew over mewtwo. Mewtwo is (please forgive me mewtwo fans, this is just my opinion) just the same as a mew, only uglier. xp Mew's adorable and just as strong! 3nodding
I like the games, especially Mystery Dungeon Red. I don't have a DS, so that's the only MD game I can play, though. sad

I feel the same about Mewtwo... And when I was little he scared me... @_@
And I always loved Houndour. I used to imagine it being my partner if I was ever a trainer, 'cause it's cute even when it evolves and it was a reasonable size. ('Cause even when I was little I thought about stuff like being able to bring my Pokemon inside.) I would have probably picked Spheal of Spoink, but they get ugly when they evolve...
BTW, lots of people want another Houndour evolution. It's called Houndread. It's fanmade, but it's pretty popular.

...what the crap? Those names and the region is terrible. D; If I get a DS and that game, I'm nicknaming my "Tepig" Pokabu. Take that Nintendo America. >:L
Houndour was once my favorite Pokemon ever, but then I fell for Vulpix and Zubat. He's so cute, and if they give him another evolution, I might be disappointed. They're doing too much of that. I'm surprised there are still even Kanto Pokemon that don't evolve still. If they do anything to Lapras, I'm going be rather sad.
omg, I couldn't stand Mewtwo as a kid. I don't mind him now, but Mew all the way.
But wait...did you just diss Grumpig, twinnie? D;

DX b... but...
as opposed to ?
OTL
but only cause it's u, if u say i should love it, i'll find some way to love it...
and the region actually has some sort of deep meaning to it. cause the japanese one meant "many varieties united" and unova is like "uni" for united and the other half means like "all together" or something... and it sounds like supernova which is my favorite ddr game... >> and i kinda like the names of the starters a bit... and i might has like tepig if i hadn't already known the name pokabu. i mean... wtf? it sounds like "poke" and "peekaboo" like jumping out and poking someone... <3

Nunununu, you don't have to like just because of me. xD I personally think Grumpig exceeds many levels of cuteness. Maybe they should have stood alone. (but Nintendo seems to want to have every Pokemon evolve somehow.)
Mmf... Really, America? .-. Dude, I originally thought those names were going to be used for the English version too. I was like "Oh, so they're going to keep their Japanese roots--lolgoddernit"
