Hello! I am Binks.
I am
16 years old. I am originally from
America but for 10 or 11 months, I'm living in
South Korea as an exchange student. At the time this message was written, I've been here almost 4 months and love it.
My Korean ability is rather low, though if you know Korean and want to talk to me, feel free though not sure how long I'll be able to continue the conversation. ㅎㅎㅎㅎ
I am very interested in
art of all sorts, though I prefer traditional art to digital art. At the moment, I'd like to go into animation, though I'd also like to go into advertising as a mascot designer. I find companies like Sanrio very interesting. They are geniuses when it comes to mascots--just look at Hello Kitty's success!
If you haven't notice, I also have a thing for
Asian animation and comics, though I like American animation
just as much as Japanese. My favorite series is
One Piece, which should be pretty obvious. I also really like
Hellsing/Hellsing Ultimate. Another favorite is the children's animation,
Doraemon, as well as
Courage the Cowardly Dog.
Just because I like
Japanese pop culture doesn't make me
interested in Japan itself. In reality, I
hold resentment toward the country after seeing what it did to Korea 100 years ago.
I love
music of all sorts. My favorite genres are
K-Pop and Electronica, though I'll listen to anything. I also love American and Korean
boy bands. Some of my favorite groups/soloists are
Panic! At the Disco, Owl City, Infinite, Super Junior, 2NE1, Miss A, and
PlayRadioPlay!
And that's about it. c: I have five other accounts (all cosplay), but I'm not very active on them anymore.
