Name: Heather Winters
Age: 17
Height: 5”9’
Weight: She isn’t shy in saying she weights One-Hundred and Twenty Three Pounds.
Element: Jupiter (Wind.)
Default Class Tree: Scout -> Wanderer -> Nomad -> Ranger -> Survivalist
Alignment: Lawful Good

Personality Summary: A lover of games and adventure, Heather would always take a long time to dress up in one of many costumes to better fit the part she played in her games with her closest friends, but unlike the two boys she has a much stronger sense of reality and tends to understand things better than the other two. She also has gotten much quieter now that she has no one to truly play and laugh with. She has a slight mixture of the personalities of her friends as well: having gained Francis’ tendency to change temper and the love of romantics, like Rayl…so expect some…interesting interactions.

Biography: daughter of a wealthy family hailing from Takaou, they moved to Vale where she grew up with her friends Francis and Rayl, taking part in their games of knights, evil doers, and captured maidens. However this longstanding friendship soon ended when she learned that she would be betrothed to Rayl, much to the dismay of Francis, and the trio, thinking themselves almost like family, were torn apart, a bitter Francis joining a local gang, and a disheartened Rayl eventually being dragged off with his family to Imil. Her family has since moved to the Capital of Berum, again for the family business.

Narrative Bio:

(warning, this is pretty long, kinda confusing, and if needed, just read the short abstract bio for the jist of things...unless you'd like further insight on Heather's personality...also read Rayl's Narrative if you'd like to compare the same situation written.)

Just a Color Chart should they have any dialogue/ in order of appearance:

Dark Slate Blue = Heather
Steel Blue = Jeremiah
Brown = Rayl's Grandfather
Saddle Brown = Rayl
Fire Brick = Francis
Blue = Rayl's Father.

indent…I remember when I was a little girl…back in Takaou…

indentIt was past lunchtime, and was outside of the estate as usual, looking over the fence with lusting eyes...I was six. The world beyond the fence was mysterious and exciting! I couldn't get too much of a view because of how short I was, but every now and then the gates would open and a man leading a cart adorned with trinkets and gold, stacked high like the lighthouses the lemurians were making ( again, I was small, how would I know?!). They'd go up and Mother would meet them, as Father was off on a business deal, something about construction, somewhere off to the South West. I'd watch them barter and deal and then the merchants would be on their way...but other than that, I didn't actually have any friends, so I'd go back inside with Jeremiah, our butler, and he'd make me a sandwich.

indentJeremiah...he was my first friend, honestly. While he was hired to take care of us and the house, he'd play games with me when my parents weren't around. I remember this one time he almost got in trouble for it once, but he managed to talk his way out of it with a good excuse as to why I was on his shoulders...that was a great piggyback ride! I remember this one time Rayl gave me a piggyback ri-

indentSorry...I tend to get sidetracked...come to think of it that started happening when I was eight and we moved to Vale. All that business Father had been going on about a construction had actually been his having a new Estate built for us, mostly so he could be MUCH closer to his business associates and Mother had been getting homesick...and there I was, a seven year old girl sitting on a train watching an unknown world fade away as I entered a new, unknown, world.

indentWhat surprised me the most was when I was allowed OUTSIDE the Estate. Father said Vale was a much safer place, but nonetheless he sent Jeremiah with me so I wouldn't get lost ( though it's hard not to lose sight of the estate compared to the small buildings around town.). So I was riding on his shoulders and watching everything with wide, eager eyes. The sights! The smells! The People! EVERYTHING! It was an adventure, like the stories Jeremiah would always tell me!

indentWhat caught my eyes...well ears, was the voice of a withered old man. He sat on a tree stump in front of his house, with two kids around my age or older before him, eyes just as big and excited as my own. The old man was telling a story, but with the hussle and bustle of the townsfolk, I had only been able to catch his unique voice. Jeremiah, seeing my interest moved closer to them, and cleared his throat to politely get the old man's attention,"Excuse me good sir, but could you perhaps look after Sir Weather's daughter while I go take care of the groceries?"

indentThe old man grinned to us, a big toothy grin ( with one or two teeth missing) as he ran a hand through his thick and bushy beard,"What do you say kids? Do we need a beautiful young maiden on our voyages across Weyard?"

indentone of them, a tall boy with brown hair and a wooden sword, jumped to his feet and began talking excitedly as he raised his false weapon into the air in a cheering manner,"Of course! Anyone who fights for a just cause is welcome!" meanwhile the other boy, obvious the elder of the two, just sat and stared at me...so I stared back until he looked away nervously...

indent...and that was how I met Rayl and Francis, respectively...from there on we were inseparable. We would go about town, just a couple of kids enjoying themselves. Every now and then I'd see Father talking to Rayl's father, and the strong man would nod and go inside to grab his tools. He was apparently the man who led the construction of our house and was well respected for his craftsmanship...he was also a LOT of fun with his unique sense of humor...he even helped build us our obstacle course...I remember asking him a few years before he left why he was so willing to help us, and he simply said,"So I could watch you three fall over like a bunch of drunkards along a tightrope."

indentIt was the best time of my life...friends...family...everything was just perfect. I'd dress up in another great dress, and go out with the guys ( much to my Father's confusion and Mother's amusement.), and spend the whole day on the obstacle course or watching Rayl and Francis dual...I dunno but I had been watching Rayl a lot more recently...it's kind of embarrassing to talk to you about, stranger, but...well I'm not really as upset about what happened next than I could have been.

indentAs usual Francis came to the Estate and knocked on the door: Two knocks followed by some sort of knuckle roll ( it was something Rayl's Grandfather taught us: called it some sort of secret knight's signal...now there was a man who could get into character if you'd let him!), and as I was getting dressed Rayl's mother soon came into the house and into the parlor, where she began talking to my own mother...just the usual. So when I was ready I left my room humming and Francis and I made our way back to Rayl...

indent...he seemed to be slightly out of it, but I had shrugged it off and lifted myself up to the top of the course (it's a good thing I got better at it, otherwise my dress would have blown up...again.) using a whirlwind, and watched the two to see who could get up...what can I say, I've always loved to watch people. As usual I found myself watching Rayl a bit more regularly than Francis. he was ahead, but then he seemed to miscalculate a jump after he moved one of the pillars, and crashed to the ground. I should have asked what was wrong then and there but I hadn't realized he had done it on purpose then...

indentNext we played Knights of the Round Table...the name wasn't ENTIRELY fitting, but what it was essentially a fencing dual. We all had a feeling Rayl was going to play the hero again, and win at that ( he was great with his sword...). But then he decided to play The Black Knight. Now THAT was an odd thing. He was always the Knight in Shining Armor type...what was STILL MORE SURPRISING was that he lost, not by disadvantage but he just didn't seem to be trying. So we let him lay there for a bit and walked off to finish the game, and when we returned as he was getting, I decided to slap him across the face for good measure in getting the answers we wanted:

indent”What’s wrong with you today?! You’re usually so energetic!” I remember saying, face slightly flustered and obviously annoyed.

indent”Yeah buddy, what’s gotcha down?” Francis then chimed in, helping Rayl up and giving him a hearty pat on the back.

indentAnd like a horse to a set of spurs he took off in a random direction, and before we could stop him he'd taken off and into town. Francis and I stood there for awhile, and decided to call it a day. Walking me back home (he was such a gentleman!), I was greeted with an odd sight: Rayl's Mother was still here. She was usually gone to do...well, whatever else she does. While talking to my mother, they both looked up at me and grinned...at the same time, before giggling like school girls and continuing their chat.

indentConfused, I simply went up to my room, but on the way Jerry ( you know, my butler? ;3) came up to me,"So I take it you got the news?" even more confused, I asked him what he was talking about, and I forget what words we exchanged, but I found my way leaving the house is a hurry, and out near where the waterfall leads to the rest of the river I found Rayl, at his usual 'get away from a problem' spot. Why do I know this? Because he showed it to me.

indent We sort of just sat there for awhile, and...well...I don't want to talk about what happened next (Maybe if you meet Rayl one day he'll tell you.), but to summarize things Rayl is gone, Francis is angry at both of us, and I'm stuck away from home at...well...THIS place.

Relationships
Mr. Gregory Thompson Winters the Third: Heather's Father. Usually away on business trips. Beneficial to Vale's economy.
Mr. Merryweather Winters: Heather's mother. Eager to marry off her only child. Currently lives with her daughter and Jeremiah Anderson in Berun.
Jeremiah Anderson: The family Butler, always full of insightful advice ( and whitty one liners when Heather's parents aren't nearby.)
Marla Torien: Rayl's Mother. Always talking about secret adult things with her mother.
Rayl Torien: Her first friend in Vale, a crush, then husband-to-be. The latter has made their friendship rather shaky, yet it's something she doesn't FULLY mind but at the same time worries about...at least the marriage is off now that he's gone...
Rayl's Grandfather: A now deceased man who would entertain the town children with wild tales of knights and dragons. Made her a bow and taught her how to use it.
Francis Darkshire: Her second friend in Vale, who apparently had a crush on her. The above incident has put this friendship on ice, leaving him bitter then and probably now.

Stats (without Equipment/Djinn):
Level: 11
HP: 101
PP: 122
Attack: 58
Defense: 62
Agility: 89
Luck: 4

Stats (with equipment/Djinn):
Level: 11
HP: 901
PP: 127
Attack:168 (or 118 with Practice Bow or 88 with Rayl's Utility Knife.)
Defense:65 (or 76 with Travel boots and Leather Armor.)
Agility:84 (94 if in Travel Boots and Leather Armor.)
Luck: 2

Current equipment:
Luxury Staff +110 Attack ( Unleash: Coin Toss. Sends a glowing ball of energy at the target. Can cause extra gold coins to drop from a monster upon hit, and more if it's the felling blow.) ~Equipped
Fancy Dress +2 Defense, -5 Agility -1 luck. Equipped. (what? It's fancy! :3)
Expensive Shoes +1 Defense, -5 Agility -1 luck. Equipped. (SHOES! LOTS OF THEM!)
Basic Leather Armor ( Made for her days playing with Rayl and Francis. it's nice and tight fitting so the wind doesn't ruffle it too much...and to brag about her figure.) +10 Defense, +5 Agility. At Home.
Travel Shoes. +4 defense. At home.
Practice Bow ( A Bow made for her by Rayl's Grandfather for the games with her friends. A treasured belonging.) +60 Attack. Not Equipped, at home.
Rayl's Utility Knife ( A small machete Rayl gave to her which was his Grandfather's. A treasured gift.) + 30 Attack. Not Equipped, but on person

Heather has well rounded stats, along with a high PP typical of jupiter adepts. This allows her more versatility, although her psynergy is more used for personal utility than combat, seeing as she is unused to actual fighting much like her friend Rayl, although her psynergy falls in more between physical psynergy, and support heals, making her more of a battle medic, capable of both but not the greatest of either. She also has some minor upgrading abilities. Quite oddly for the typical wind adepts, she capable of using long swords (and thus short swords as well.) and armor thanks to her constant playing with Rayl and Francis. Along with this, she can also use a bow or crossbow, again from said games with Rayl and Francis, and it's probably one of her best skills. She also has some gifts with magical psynergy, and is capable of using a staff (though not as well compared to blade or bow)...these are her only four weapons possibilities.

Djinn: Turbine (+5 PP, +5 Agility, +2 Defense, -1 Luck.)- uses wind on the user or a party member to enhance their PP recovery rate.

P.S. A reference to real world Wind Turbines that generate energy from Wind.

CLASS LIST:

Current and Future Psynergy (Mono Elemental Wind: Archer Class Tree) [has not been acquired or used in roleplay.]:

Psynergy Arrow 9 1 ( Fires an arrow made of psynergy to strike a foe.)

Rapid Arrows (un-acquired, level 15) 16 1 (Fires multiple psynergy arrows to hit your foe.)

Arrow Rain 15 3 (Fires arrows out in many directions to strike your foes.)

Arrow Volley (un-acquired, level 26) 24 5 (Sends a volley of psynergy arrows from the sky to strike your foes.)

Fresh Breeze 5 all (Heals minor injuries all party members.)

Healthy Wind 8 all (heals injuries of all party members with a soft breeze.)

Soothing Gale 14 (Un-acquired, lvl 15) all (Heals larger injuries of all party members with a a refreshing gale.)

Tail Wind 11 self (Increases agility of the party. Can be used outside of battle.)

razor wind (un-acquired, level 14) 14 3 (attack multiple foes with sharp blades of focused air.)

Wind Burn 8 1 (Lunges forward and slashes a for so quickly it causes a small amount of damage over a small period of time.)

Vacuum Cut 13 1 (Dashes forward and swings at the foe, causing a fair amount of damage and a small amount over a longer period of time.)

Gale 3 3 (Sends out a gust of wind to attack three foes. Can also be used to propel self upwards or to scatter light objects.

Mind Read -- 1 (Peer into the mind of an unsuspecting or willing person. Adepts can notice when you are, so don't be such a gossip hound, Heather!)

Reveal -- 1 (Can be used to see hidden things or behind things such as doors, ETC. Do be such a Peeping Tom, Heather!)

Benefits: Heather's Default Class is easily one of her fastest. Sharing similar arrow-based Psynergy with Rayl's Wind/Earth Duo class, he skills with them are easily more powerful and accurate considering her marksmanship. She also has a set of healing skills to aide her party. Also she has some melee bases psynergy to deal damage over time. Along with this she has abilities outside of battle, being able to help people up taller heights, blow through tangled weeds blacking doorways.

Faults: This class tree, while being good at both attack psynergy (mostly physical) and Healing, it is far inferior to a warrior like Rayl or Drake or a Healer like Maewen. Essentially she's just a jack-of-Both-Trades. For her arrow psynergy to be heavily damaging, she would need a crowwbow or bow, and in this world of steamwork guns, trains, and possibly airships: WHERE ARE YOU GOING TO GET A BOW UNLESS YOU FLETCH ONE YOURSELF!

Also her defense is sub-par, as is her Agility (only when wearing her fancy clothes :3). Also she lacks any support psynergy...and I haven't finished all of her future psynergy, so... =/

Potential Class Trees:
Based on the minimum of required, and rising to a max of Nine, with class increases along the way.

MONO-ELEMENTAL:
Jupiter: Scout -> Wanderer -> Nomad -> Ranger -> Survivalist
DUO-ELEMENTAL:
Mercury: NOT YET THOUGHT UP Venus: NOT YET THOUGHT UP Mars: NOT YET THOUGHT UP
TRI-ELEMENTAL:
Mars and Mercury: NOT YET THOUGHT UP Jupiter and Mercury: NOT YET THOUGHT UP Venus and Mars: Kinswoman → Patriot ( In reference to her friends Rayl and Francis, respectively.)

Other?: I would like to take this moment to tell you that in the Biographies of Rayl and Heather, you may have noticed the symbolic and metaphorical things/people. for those who haven't I will not spoil it. For those who have, you have a good eye, and expect it to be later on referenced in other posts.

She's also the FIRST Warrior Type Jupiter Adept in the guild. ;3

well It looks, to me, that you mixed the fancy clothing with the travel clothing ( I'm referring to the boots here only.) THEM SHOES NEED MOAR FANCY! (though I'm liking the boots anyways :3)

Other than that, you got it just as I pictured it...also I just noticed the similarities between the celesta's personality and heathers ( I was actually going to give her the trainer's whip until I re-read Celesta's profile before I put Heather's up! Dx)

XD yeah, not entirely sure what I was going for out side of simplicity with the outfit. Glad it at least mostly worked out though.

As for the similarities with Celesta: you think so? Well either way, they have vastly different backgrounds so it's rather interesting seeing how they both ended up that way. biggrin
