the balls are spun and the announcer picks the names. Girls first, then boys. She reads them:

Nova

Jade listend to her name being called. She got up and walked to the anouccer. Jade heard people wispering while she walked. "Who's that?" one lady said. "I have never seen her before." said a little girl.
To Jade these people where just little ants though. They didn't matter at all.

He gulps. Its a good thing he had no family or freinds. He slowly works his way threw the crowd and walks up onto stage without looking up. He lets out a sigh and looks at the crowd. People that he hated and liked are staring intently at him.
