Akenee sat down at the edge of the river, tears running down her face. How could Kalia have been chosen as a tribute? How could she, Akenee, not have volenteered for her? But no, Kalia would have never forgave her. But now Kalia was going to die, and Akenee was mad. Mad at herself, mad at the stupid capitol and their games. Wiping the tears, still streaming down her face away, Akenee tried to calm herself down.

Homaru was walking next to the river bank and looked down to it. He saw the fish swim between the rocks. They where free of life and had something deep about them. But Homaru didn't care about that anymore. It was a long time ago when he asked what the purpose in life was...

Tawny had come down to the creek hoping to clear her head. It had been a long, dissapointing day, She sat on a rock by the waters edge, staring at her reflection. She thought she had heard something and glanced up.

Homaru jumped into a tree and went with his right hand on his back. He took something out of his shirt that was coverd in a piece of dirty ripped off clothe. He opend it and tilled up a golden flute. He started to play on it while the music echoed in the horizon. Tawny saw a boy jump into a tree and start playing. "Wow..." She whispered quietly.

Homaru didn't notice the girl yet and closed his eyes to play. The golden flute was shining in the sun. It was the only thing he had left from his life as a 5 to 10 year old thief. Tawny sat, eyes closed, untill she realized it was getting late, she got up and turned, but stepped on a fallen branch. With a loud snap, it broke in half. Tawny whipped around to see if the guy noticed.

Homaru jumped down from the tree. Suddenly out of the flute came a sword that was pointing right at the girl. His dark blue hair was hanging before his eyes so that his face was dark...
"Who... are you?"
he asked, still pointing with the sword in her direction.

Tawny raised an eyebrow when she saw the sword, but she wasnt scared. "Easy, buddy, Im Tawny, i heard you playing..." She explained.

Homaru got a little grin in his face. He saw that she wasn't scared and liked it...
"Most people die after hearing my flute... aren't you afraid that it will hapen to you to?"

Tawny narrowed her eyes. "Hmm, it would be an inconvenience, im providing for my little sister...im sure you dont care if my blood is on your hands, but an innocent girl?" Tawny sighed, putting her hands on her head.

Homaru said and sweeped with his sword right across the girls cheek. A little blood flew over it cause he made a small wound on her face.

Tawny only smiled, she even snickered abit. Tawny ignored the cut he had made; she had certainly been injured more severely then the small cut. Tawnys hands were still on her head, but she hadnt done so to signal defeat. In one lightning fast motion, she had the spear that had been sheathed on her back at the guys throat.

Homaru said as he slammed away the spear with his sword and jumped back. He holded his sword right before his eyes. After that he came as fast as he could to the girl. Sudenly he was right before the girl waiting for her to strike...
