I wanted a place for all of us to have the chance to introduce ourselves and bring our names more to life. We all joined this guild for the same reasons and I would like for this to be a close-knit community where as writers, we can be open with one another.
To start, I'd like every member to introduce themselves. I'm sure all of us are familiar with Aurora and Keiojen - the moderators of this guild.
However, I've noticed not every one has made a post yet in our guild. If you have yet to do so, please start here just to get your name out so every one else may know about you.

Hi there! I'll go first.
My name is Jessica. I'm twenty years old and currently attending college, majoring in broadcast journalism. I've been a country girl all my life, but my hope is to one day move into a major city.
My hope is that one day, I can become a successful and published novelist. My writing niche seems to be geared toward mysteries, dramas and certain areas of science-fiction. I love to read good, original fantasies, action/adventures and social or political commentary-type works as well.
Doctor Zhivago has to be my favorite novel of all time, probably because it has everything a story that I love. Great writing. Awesome characters. Heart-breaking love story during a turbulent time in Russia's history.
Beside writing and reading, I love to travel. Paris is one of my favorite cities. The people are so nice there and the city is lively and beautiful.
I am also Christian and actively involved with a student group on campus.
My other enjoyments include hanging out with my friends, studying in the many coffee shops around my school, cooking, jogging, clubbing and dancing, and working as an anchor for the local radio and television station near my campus.
Somewhere in between all this, I juggle with a job working as a barista. Also, I love coffee and have to drink it everyday.
In fact, I'm drinking coffee right now!

My religious name is Baytianna, or Bay for short. My legal name is Elizabeth, if you are opposed to using the other.
I'm 20 years old. I'm Pagan. I am doing a bachelors in humanities, philosophy, and English. My future career plans are somewhat convoluted, so I will omit them here.

My name is Sabrina but I go by so many different nick names, but the most common ones are Riri or Ria. I'm twenty and going to college in Spring.
City girl! 100%, grew up in New York but moved to Pennsylvania with mother and family at the beginning of this summer. Going back to NY in October and get ready for school.
I want to actually become a school Nurse, but actually want keep writing even then. If it were to become published then I'd be happy with just that alone. My writing is actually pretty bad considering for how many years I've been doing it. Recently I started trying to better my writing. Also have the attention span of a fish.
Reading is great but I find it hard to find a book that can really suck me in. Last book I read and fell in love with was probably The Raven, which actually wasn't that great to me.
During my free time, I'm talking with my friends and role playing, maybe even playing a video game. Sometimes I play with my cat but he's a lazy bum who rather look out the window than spend time with me.
Would write more but feeling pretty weird lol I'm obviously shy and timid but once I get use to everyone then I'll be the loud mouth you wish would shush up. :3

My name is Hope, I'm a Gaia addict. I'm 16 years old and currently enrolled in highschool and college at my local community college. Our choices are only for an associates and since I really have no idea what I want to be (maybe an English teacher, or interpreter, or I might just go into the peace corps) I'm going for an associates. I used to have a puppy named Lilith (Lili for short), but she died last Tuesday from unknown circumstances while I was at school. I love to read and write (and I mean constantly, you have no idea how many detentions I've had for reading or writing stories in class) and used to love to play with Lili. I kinda want to be a writer but being an amateur and just 16, I'm a bit nervous about going for that career path exclusively. My favorite writings (and books) are fantasy and science fiction with a little romance thrown in both. I hate to throw this since the controversy but I'm assuming everyone here is mature enough not to get upset, my two favorite book series of the moment are Twilight and House of Night. My favorite book of all time is Petals on the River. My favorite aurthor is Edgar Allen Poe.

I might start a thread about Edgar Allen Poe, if I find that anyone else wants to talk about him.
