Welcome to the solo-writer's sub-forum. This is where you can post about stories you are working on alone, or get help for your stories.

As with everything, this forum has a few rules.

Asking for help.
Asking for help is a delicate thing, and I have provided a few rules to keep it from getting messy. The rules are listed below in bullets.
- Do not beg for help.
- Do not ask people to edit something you have not looked over for basic mistakes.
- Do not expect anyone to write an entire story for you, that is not help.
- Do not ask someone to write part of a story for you from scratch. That is collaborative writing and belong in the collaborative writing sub-forum.
- Do not expect someone to teach you everything about writing. If you want some advice, that is okay. That being said, there are many books and courses dedicated to helping people write and it's rude to expect someone to offer you hours or days of their time mentoring you free of charge.

Offering and declining help:
- Please be polite if you refuse to help someone. If you have repeatedly decline to help someone and they will not leave you alone, let me know.
- Please only offer legitimate advice and criticism. Do not misguide poorer writers. Please be polite when offering criticism, even to terrible writers.

Fan-fiction
Fan-fiction is not original work and I ask that fan-fiction stories be kept in the main forum. If there is a great demand for a fan-fiction section, I will make a sub-forum for it.

Discussion
You may start discussions here about how to write alone. Be careful not to make a resource page of it. Other discussions have specific places for them. If you believe your discussion belong here, post it. However, if it is not appropriate for this section, it will be deleted.

**More will be added as need and opportunity arise. As with the main rules page, it is your responsibility to know the updated rules.
