Aurora High Student Spellbooks+++++

Welcome! These spell books are a resource to record already learned or practiced spells, and also to let students have a general understanding of what their school's strengths are. Compiled by various sources, these encyclopedias will hopefully enrich the experience of Aurora High's students. However, the spells herein should be used with caution and only for the benefits of society, as others may try to abuse this power...

Rules+++++

The following are some rules and tips regarding the spell books. They may be edited at any time, whether by me or other guild moderators.

You are not allowed to perform these spells outside of classes. If you are caught using them, there will be consequences.

Please do not post anything other than spells in the school spell books. If you have a question, please post them in this forum to keep things organized. This includes any edits or modification requests you have but cannot do due to not being a moderator.

Anyone can submit a spell. This will help keep the spell books up-to-date easier since there will be different people from different parts of the role play contributing. One person cannot be everywhere at once.

Any moderator can edit spell submissions, rules, etc. if there is inconsistent or wrong information, or to help fill in the blanks.

Just because spells are listed in here does not mean your character already knows them. That would be along the lines of God-Modding. And do not try any tricks like Joe Smith looked at the school spell book and performed a super-hard spell even though he's a novice.

Some spells are learned via class. If you were not at class, then sorry, your character didn't learn the spell. However, there are other classmates plus the Library. There should be a way for your character to catch up on missed lessons by tutoring with friends.

Sometimes it might be beneficial to have your character not know all of the spells from his/her school. Look at video games. When you level a character's stats, you have the choice of leveling everything at an OK level, or to specialize by maxing only a few stats. Specializing gives some uniqueness to your character since he/she is more proficient in a certain spell than someone else.

Do not just make up spells to fill in the spell book. Only submit those encountered in the role play.

When submitting a spell encountered during role play, please submit it to its proper school category using the form in the next post. If you simply have no clue which school a spell belongs to, post it in the Misc. forum until its category is determined. Also, if the spell was mentioned but unperformed, still list it in the spell book but make sure to mention that it has not been performed yet.

I have a mist forming spell.
It's for when your to lazy to go get something or move something yourself.
Only students born into Storm can perform it.
All you do is hold out your hand at the item you wish to move, sometimes saying the items name helps if it's large though. A small cloud of mist then appears around it and floats it wherever you want it.
If anyone's seen the TV show "Charmed" it's like Paige's powers, only it's a cloud not an orb.

Neat! If you've already used it in the role play, just fill out the form and submit it under School of Storm Spellbook and you're set! For the Word(s) of Incantation you can just put a note that you need to say the item's name or whatever.

For future reference,

You are not allowed to perform these spells outside of classes. If you are caught using them, there will be consequences.

Seriously guys. Doing that could be considered god-modding.

I can see how a mirror barrier can apply to Light (since an actual mirror reflects light to show an image), and Balance might be able to use it since they can use a variety of spells, but I do not see how it can apply to Life. Hip-hop would have to have the final say in this.

((Posting these questions from the Miscellaneous Spellbook thread. Please do not post questions in the spell books, people. I've edited the rules, moving the rule concerning this to the front (for people who choose not to read) as well as adding and highlighting hip-hop's addition. They're in BOLD, so there should be no excuse for not seeing them.))

Shaldan
Can we use this spells even it is still misc?

That is a bit of a yes-and-no question. Yes you can if your character learned the spell and you are performing it during class or a battle (against Maliborne's Army). However, currently it is NO since the listed spells are from either the Dean, the head wizard, or from Maliborne, the head evil wizard. Therefore none of the students except Alexx could possibly know the spells.

Most likely yes, but I would need confirmation from hip-hop or someone before moving it. It could be some sort of healing spell using fire, ice, or something from another school (if that is even possible) so I do not want to jump to conclusions.
