You can catch, battle, and observe the Pokemon in these man-made habitats. These is like the regular Safari Zone in the games, except that you can battle these wild Pokemon instead of just catching them. You will not have to pay to get in, or be given Safari Balls. You can go here of your own free will, and sometimes it will be a class assignment. Instead of Safari Balls you will use your own you have bought from Curtis's Custom Pokéballs in Ellipses Town.
There are 12 different environments in the Safari Zone, and each has their own special set of Pokemon. The type will always correspond with the name of the zone. You won't find a Geodude in the Wetland, nor will you find a Grimer in the Desert. This lists change, but not often keep in mind, so if you see a Pokemon you like one day, you'd better buy some Pokeballs and go out and catch it!
