Curtis makes custom Pokéballs if you pay him what he asks. Also here, there are Pokéballs there are sold in department stores. For a list of what Pokeballs do and how they effect capture rates, click here. These ultimately do not effect the catch rates of your Pokemon, but if you use, say, a Great Ball over a Nest Ball on a Pokemon with higher level than yours, it will be much more effective.
