Spring came early in Western Washington! Yesterday, the temps were in the mid-50s... Maybe even the low 60s, I dunno--point is, it was WARM out! And sunny. Very sunny! So, Zoom got to go romp and graze in the front yard for a while...



Sammy, my 10 1/2 year old Boxer, got to come hang out with us, too. Silly girl couldn't care less about the tortoise, but the warm sun and not having three little dogs at her heels probably felt really good!


Anyway, back to Zoom. It didn't take long for her to find one of the few dandelions that had sprouted up in the yard...

It was gone in no time...


Pretty flower stands no chance...





"Whaddya mean no more flowers! I'ma go look for more, 'kay??"


"Oh. I guess you're right. Oh well. LOOK! Dandelion leaves!!! =D"




Okay, I'm done now... Lol! That little piglet didn't even leave a SINGLE flower for the beardie. Tsk, tsk!

I did, actually, forget to feed her Friday morning... It just took me until she was ripping and tearing at the dandelion leaves full-force to realize that. xD But, no, she's actually VERY spoiled--in fact, I think I OVER-feed her... Lol.

Aah. I like this weather. Sadly, it's supposed to be gone by Tuesday. =( Oh well. She got to go out again yesterday and briefly today... Yesterday was even warm enough to take Man Ray out. The three of us sat in the front yard for an hour and a half at least. Zoom and Man Ray loved it--I suffered. Geeze... 60*F my a**. The sun was so bright, it kept Man Ray at a cozy 90-something degrees, even though the air temperature was supposed to be in the low 60s! Lol!!
