Zho hopped off the off the train with a spring in his step, He had just bought an apartment in Wunschenhimmel and was seeing the sights, the last on his list was that old theatre, he didn't like theatres much, but he'd been everywhere else, and at the end of the day, he had nothing better to do.
The shaggy-haired lad carefully crept through the doors, there was a sparse crowd walking around idly in the lobby, he noticed the formal way they were dressed and was instantly embarassed, his t-shirt wasn't even tucked in!.
'Well make me extinct and call me a dodo.. I was supposed to dress formally!?' he thought to himself nodding to the passersby who politely smiled to him, he quickly passed by them and went into the main hall, no-one was in here, and it was very quiet. It made him feel nervous, but something on the stage caught his eye, something eye-catching
It was a piano, a beautiful one at that, he played the piano when he was eight, but quickly bought a keyboard instead, the noise pianos made bored him, he much preferred the electronic twang of his keyboard. He carefully tip-toed over to the stage and climbed up it, hurrying over to the piano with child-like curiosity and glee.
He carefully lifted the cover on the keys and pressed one of the keys, F# to be exact. The familiar "bumt" of the key echoed loudly in the hall, louder than he expected. He didn't want to get caught, but there was something about this piano. He hit another key, middle C, but no note resounded, he bit his lip, thinking that maybe that one F# that he played had killed the piano. He killed a piano! He was a murderer
he pressed the key again, a bit harder, and with the light tap he heard a ticking noise, the noise of something wooden. He hit the key again, the same 'tck' sound coming out. He must have done something to those mallet things that played the notes! He had broken a key before on the piano he had back at his parents house and it made the exact same noise. But when he yanked the lid of the piano open, what he found wasn't a broken piano mallet. It was a doll.
Lodged in between the strings and the (intact) mallet, lay an amazingly life-like doll, he carefully took it out and looked it over, sniffed it, then continued looking it over.
'...Cool' He thought to himself.
He brought it with him to the side of the stage where he sat, still admiring the craftmanship all over it's body. There was something about it that he liked, something about it that wasn't.. quite.. right.

 A strange noise came from behind the curtains, the noise of something or someone falling. After the noise the ‘thing’ exclaimed: ”I’m fine!”, it was a feminine and sweet voice. It seemed that there wasn’t any one else with her but so she was probably talking alone. A noise of furniture being moved began, then a silence.
” Maybe if I pull this rope…”
The curtain fell down making a loud noise that echoated the whole place. The dust accumulated from the years polluted the air and made some papers in the floor fly away.
”T his is going to be hard to fix- oh hi!” She said when she noticied Zho. It was a young woman with blonde curly hair, her eyes were deep blue and she was wearing big glasses, her clothes were the one of a maid. She adjusted her glasses and blushed a little while saying:
” I-I can explain!“
And she blushed even more.

Zho let out a small, but very real, yelp when the curtains fell down, clutching the doll in his hand tightly. He smiled when he realised it was merely an unassuming maid-like woman standing behind the wrecked curtains.
He let out a minute sigh of relief as she said that she could explain, he was glad he wasn't in trouble!
"..Um.. No need?"

She was so nervous that she just ignored everything he said and started along with her explanation, she was making small circles in the floor with her black-polishes shoes and her face was sweetly blushed.
”I… I mean… My master! He lost something in here and asked be to come back and find it, I-I’m sorry to invade such a private place but what he lost was very dear to him and… and… I can fix everything! she exclaimed and bowed. ” All need is a adhesive tape and maybe some clips and OH!” she stopped her lecture when she really stopped and looked to the guy, and more precisely, to the doll he was holding.
” You found it!” The maid exclaimed with a big smile at her face.
After a few seconds she exclaimed again.
” Oh, no, no! I found you! “

He looked down panickedly at the doll that was in his hand. 'Oh crap! This was valuable! I'm a thief! I'm a felon!'
"I-I'm sorry I'm sorry" He blustered quickly stepping toward her holding out the doll. "I was just looking at it I swear! I didn't know it was anyones! and I definitely didn't think anyone would miss it! Please don't call the police!"
He pleased, his eyes begging her to not punish him.

”Call the police?” she giggled covering her mouth with her hand.
” I came her looking for this Naught but finding you and the doll is a lot more better! My master said you would be here today, sometimes he mistakes the dates and I end up looking for people that never come…” She noticed that she was running from the main point. She blushed and adjusted her glasses.
” But the important is that you are here now! And… and… What a shame on me!” she blushed. ” I forgot to introduce myself, I’m Mei, the maid of the black and white manor! “ she smiled and bowed.

Zho took the smallest of steps away from the woman called Mei, A naught? What the hell is a naught? He thought to himself.
'Maybe she's crazy.. Oh god I hope she's not crazy!'
"I'm Zho"
He blurted out suddenly, smiling uneasily after. What was the black and white manor? It definitely wasn't on his brochure of "Wunschehimmel: the sights to see" he looked down at the doll again and it somehow reassured him that the girl was not crazy, so he stood still, waiting for what she had to say

Mei saw all the possible faces Zho could have done and deducted that he was thinking she was crazy. Of course she did, it wasn’t the first time this had happened. She took a deep and optimistic breath and began to talk.
” My master is a very skilled man and he did this dolls called Haltia.” Mei was carefully choosing all her words. ” They are hosts for long lost wishes from people that already died but still have a job to complete”.
She stoped. This was the critical point where people would be either fascinated by the story or run away screaming.
In spite of that she smiled gently and bowed a little at him.
The silence was the only thing that could be heard.

Zho looked down at the doll again, the doll reassuring him still that she wasn't crazy, he turned his face up to her uncertainly.
"Oooooookay." He said, elongating the O, just incase he change his mind half-way through
He then held up the doll to her.
"So this thing.. has unfinished business?"

” It does~” She said happily smiling and unfolding her apron. ”But it can only finish it’s task with your help.”
” Hum, now… where was it?” Mei looked around searching for something; she went to the place that used to be behind the curtains before the ‘incident’. ” There you are!” Said the maid while picking up a black bag, putting her hand inside it and…
She made a small pause.
” You are going to help… a-aren’t you?”

He looked up at the girl uncerainly again, then nodded, chewing his lip.
"Yeah.. Yes I'll help" He said, nodding uncertainly at first, then speeding it up into a profuse nod. He looked down at the doll again.
'...Who are you' He thought to himself, turning the doll over a few times in his hand

”Good~!” She smiled at him happily. ” It’s not as simple as it looks, let me explain.” She adjusted her glasses once more, they seemed to always fall from it’s place.
Mei took from her black bag a beautiful box. It was made of wood and painted in black with white piano keys detailed in the above part. There was also a lock, a silver one to be more precise. She hand it to Zho.
” In order to find the key-“ She began.
The door of the place suddenly opens. ” The noise came from...! “ It was a couple of people. One looked like a functionary of the place and the other, dressed more formally, seemed to be someone from the administrator sector or a supervisor.
” Oh-oh! I gotta go, buy you can find me in the black&White manor, come see us for more explanations!” The stumble-aura around her seemed to vanish away as she ran to a very convenient window and jumped from it.

Zho looked at the box, admiring the detail and craftmanship that had been put into it. It was beautiful. He thought it just a coincidence that he had found the doll in a piano, and the box he had been given had looked like a piano. It was like pianopalooza!
He swirled around when the people burst into the room and let out a scared squeak as they pointed to him and Mei on the stage, but Mei had already jumped out the window by the time he turned around.
'..Maybe she is crazy..' He thought to himself, seeing the last of her blonde hair pass out the window.
He blustered forward on the stage, blinded by the spot-light.
"Uh! Sorry about the curtains, I can explai-" He was cut off by his foot going off the stage, and plummeting to the ground below, as he did as well, with a resounding thump.
"...Ow"
