Hello everyone, and welcome to our first Guild Announcement! Here are a few updates and bits of news for DOMO!
+ The guild viewing of The X-Files has finished its first viewing block today. The second block starts tomorrow, consisting of episodes 5-8 of Season one and ends on November 2nd. Join in on the nostalgic romp, pop by, or come tell us how the show scarred you in your youth here!
+ Marty and Shampoo-chan have been cooking up a comic book scheme, or has the idea been dropped? I don't know! Bug them about it here in the comic book sub-forum, 'cause I want to at least read it. Show some support and encouragement to your fellow guild mates in their artistic endeavors!
+ I've been thinking of ways to bring us more posting traffic. I realize other people have more of a life then me and possess social ties outside of their computer, weather it be their families, schooling, or big person jobs - but I don't really have those things at this point in my life and I am often times bored. What can I do to make you talk to me?! Contests haven't worked in the past, but neither has basic discussion. So throw me your ideas, comments, whathaveyou in the Domo News thread. Someone can feel free to hand me a real life too while they're at it.
+ Guildies who are hoping to attend Comic-Con, we really should get organized on that s**t. No: I personally do not have (plane or con) tickets yet but I have not given up. In the up coming week I think I'll be creating a San Diego Comic-Con topic in the Comic sub-forum so we can keep each other better updated as any new posts bumps up the topic to be seen on the short list of current discussion in the guild's link list.
And don't forget! The Superhero Guild of Gaia, Kapow!, has opened its doors to all of Gaia for their Sixth Annual Masquerade Ball! If you're feelin' bored maybe you should stop by to gamble some gold, check out the various booths, and have some crazy fun chats and RPs! I'll see you guys there; last year was a crack filled blast of randomness and good karaoke fun. Come check us out and hang in the Bistro Bar and Grill!
