He needed to get out of the office more, Jerard thought as he rifled through a stack of files on his desk. It was getting a bit cramped and he missed going to Xen, maybe he'd go tonight and see if he could find her there. Grinning at the thought, he emerged victorious from his labyrinth stack of paper. The new pair, Dominique and Isztivan were sitting in his office but he'd lost his file, but no longer.
"Okay, yes, everything seems to be in order." He flipped through a few of the pages glancing here and there at what was written. An interesting weapon for such a shy young man. Of course weapons and the forms they took didn't necessarily always go hand in hand. "Welcome to the official team. Shibusen is proud to have you and we hope that you'll both do our school's name justice." He always felt like a bad high school cheer coach when he made this speech.
Looking down he double checked who would be showing them around. He did a quick double take, now why would he have assigned her to this particular team? Folly on his part to be sure, but there was no changing it, she'd just become more irate if she had to change her plans last minute. "It seems Alexis, our very own mission's department head, will be escorting you on your tour today. I'll leave you in her capable hands."
Tucking the file away into yet another stack of files he glanced over at the pair, "She'll be here shortly, I suggest you wait outside the office." He didn't say it to be cruel, but rather as some friendly advice.

Dominique might have been the awkward shy one in the pair, but both him and Isztivan had similar reactions to having to wait sat in Jerards office while his shifted through paperwork. Both where quietly fidgeting uncomfortably in the chairs opposite the desk, Dominique doing his usual fidgeting about with his hands, and Isztivan sort of alternating placing one foot on top of the other, sort of avoiding any potential eye contact with Jerard.
In the silence as Jerard search about his desk, they exchanged a few glanced , Dominique smiled nervously back, still anxious about this, he and Isztivan and only known each other a few days and now he was moving in with the guy.
They nodded politely at the cheesy welcome speech. Isztivan being the one who responded. “I’m sure we will be” With a smile and a quick glance back to Dominique.
Another simultaneous nod. “Okay we’ll wait outside” Still looking at Dom, who answered. “D'accord...O-ok” He needed to stop doing that, he thought to himself as he stood up and followed Isztivan in suit.
Having no idea who Alexis was they had no idea what they were in for.

The tell tale sound of heels clipping down the hallway announced the woman's arrival. She cut a formidable figure in her strong blue top and black form fitting slacks. Another tour, she was the god damned missions head, and what did she do? Play tour guide for newly paired students, how annoying. Well at least these two didn't have a reputation like Lucien and Kimura... yet.
Arriving at Jerard's office, she was pleased to see that they were waiting. At least they were timely. "Szőke, Fabre?" She looked at them for clarification of whom was who. "You may call me Ms. Laurent," she frowned, since that made her sound old, "or Ms. Alexis." It was slightly informal but it made her feel younger so she'd let it slide.
In her memory she couldn't recall seeing either of them around the school much. "To begin with, how acquainted with the school are you? I'll take you by the missions department, which is the key new place you'll have access to, but are there any other places you feel you need to be shown." With luck on her side, they'd be fairly acquainted and she could wrap this trip up as fast as possible.

The pair stood anxiously by the door, they had both known this sort of thing was a long time coming, but they both couldn't help feeling nervous. The woman coming down the corridor must have been her, they both turned their attention and stood up straight from leaning against the wall.
A raised hand came from Dominique to indicate who he was when his name was called. Isztivan was slightly more helpful. "I'm Szőke, he's Fabre" A sort of smile on his face, surnames where so overly formal, but if that's what Alexis was like.
Dominique knew his way around the school, more of less, from his previous visits to try and get a partner, though that only meant he knew the way to get to the ballroom and had no knowledge of day to day locations in the school.
"I...sort of know my way round" Dominique said, though Isztivan shook his head. "I don't" He added.

Michael's quick steps were silent as he all but ran through the corridors of the school. He knew her schedule well enough to understand that she was doing the whole tour guide thing, and so he hoped that they hadn't set off yet. Maybe he'd still be able to catch her at Jerard's office. It would make his life a little bit easier if some things worked out.
s**t.
He heard her voice before he managed to see her, and he slowed his steps. Turning the corner, he looked over with relief as he noted that the trio was still here: he'd barely skimmed over the information for this pair.
"Alexis?" he started. "We've got an emergency with a rank three mission." he frowned as he looked at the new technician and weapon. The tour wasn't so important, right? Although... "We need you on scene." he paused. "I can take over this one, if you want." he added.
He offered the team a distracted smile. "Sorry guys." he started. "Sometimes things come up. But I can show you around?" he turned to Alexis for approval.
Besides, she hated doing this almost as much as he did.

Both of them gave a sort of mental sigh of relief, this guy sort of seemed nicer, at least less formal, if misleading first impressions really where good information to go on.
They could only stand quietly by the sidelines watching their superiors talk between themselves.
Dom and Isztivan returned in kind with their own nervous smiles, nobody around here seemed to particularly like this whole tour thing.
"It's all right I guess" Isztivan said, giving Dom a tug on the arm looking for his approval in the form of a nod.

Michael watched Alexis leave and felt clear relief puncture his thoughts. Well, that would show that team to do into a mission half drunk. Sometimes he loved nothing more than to watch Alexis berate a technician and a weapon who were supposed to be more experienced than they behaved. Still, he had certain priorities to attend to now.
"That's good." he turned back to the technician and weapon duo as Alexis disappeared down the hall. "Now, my name is Michael. I work for her, and usually help handle her load of the orientation tours." he was grinning as he said this. It wasn't 'help' really. He took them because it made her happier, and a happy boss was a good boss.
"Now, I'll be mainly showing you the missions department, since it's one of the more important areas for you to know? Anything we pass on the way I'll explain. But if you have questions at all, please interrupt me." he frowned for a moment. "Sometimes I've been told I rush through thing."
Szoke, and Fabre. Now if he could actually remember which one was which...

"Enchanté" Dom replied politely, Isztivan opting to just wave and say "Hi". Introducing themselves slipped their minds since they'd already done the very same twice today in the past ten minutes.
They'd sort of heard what the tour entailed, but neither of them wanted to to irrupt him and point that out. it's probably be best if they didn't, better if this was over faster.
"Okay, I'm sure we'll be fine", Iztivan said, giving a look of approval to Dom who held onto his arm as they started following behind their guide. He sighed, Dom needed to stop being so clingy.

Michael nodded his head as he watched the duo. Well, one of them certainly did look a little bit touchy. He led the way then, feeling almost like a machine turned on to automatic. "Now." he started, gesturing down the hallway. "This is where you'll probably have many of your regular classes. One, two three, four, and six." he looked over with a frown. He hadn't had the time to look through their history, so didn't know either of them had spent much time on campus.
Did they know about classroom five and seven? He hoped so. The last time he'd done this tour they'd asked him straight out why he'd ignored the two rooms.
"There are plenty of other students hanging around, so if you ever find yourself lost in one of your subjects." he shrugged. "You'll have help."

They followed behind, Isztivan had also set himself to some kind of automatic mode, one where a lot of stuff being said to him was going in one ear and out the other. Though he did notice the lack of the fifth class, but he didn't think much of it, he just assumed it was a room set aside for classes that weren't "regular".
Dom fidgeted, unlike Isztivan felt inclined to ask, though didn't voice it. "What about five Isztivan?" He asked whispering it to him, he just shrugged. "Why'd I know?"
"That'd be good" Dom thought to himself, maybe other students could help him out.

Michael paused as he heard hushed undertones behind him, and then decided to ignore it. If they really wanted him to hear, they'd voice it louder. As he walked further down the corridor, he pointed to a set of rooms. "This is the missions department. Our offices are down this door, so if you need us for anything just pop on by before or after classes. You can leave messages for us at our desks, or just wait around until we show up." he paused, and frowned. He'd had some students come in and slack off classes on the pretext that they were waiting for him. " This is the missions board. You'll find available missions stated here." he turned. "Since you're rank one, you'll only be allowed to take rank one missions. We write a little description on them to give you a good idea, and most for your rank will have you accompanied by one of the staff members." he nodded his head. "Sometimes there are specific requirements, or advice we like to give to those who want to take the missions, so be sure to read up on that too."

Dominique gave out a quiet though still audible gasp and half hide behind Isztivan at Michaels pause, knowing he'd stopped from overhearing them.
They both continued nodded at each statement being made, having little to add or query Michael about. They already sort of knew this, they just hadn't visited the room.
Dominique knew he'd have to take missions eventually, though knowing hardly curing how anxious he felt about the whole thing. Looking at the summaries of a lot of the missions wasn't helping a great deal either, unlike Isztivan, who was taking this in his stride and already mulling over which mission he thought he might try when he got the chance.
"So when can we start?" Isztivan had a big smirk on his face, looking forward to showing off.

Michael grinned easily. Confidence. He appreciated confidence when it came from a new pair. It showed enthusiasm too. He reached inside his pocket for two maps, tiny business card sized pieces of paper printed neatly with the school campus as well as 'famous' landmarks located outside of the campus. "I've got copies of maps for you, in case you have any more questions." he handed one to Dominique, and one to Isztivan with a grin. "It also shows some areas outside the campus, areas you might be interested in as students and as teenagers." He looked at both of them in the eye. "Do you have any questions so far?" he asked.

Dominique wasn't exactly brimming with confidence himself, even with Isztivan positively glowing as he was.
"Merci" Dominique busily examined the card a great deal more closely than Isztivan, who, after briefly glancing at it put it away into his pockets.
"Nope" Isztivan shook his head, Dom was lost in thought looking at the place names on the card.
