I'd make a poll, but all 17 won't fit. But yeah, in this thread you say whom your favorite Angel is and give a brief explanation as to why that Angel is your favorite.
Personally, my favorite Angel is the 3rd Angel, Sachiel, from episodes 01 and 02. biggrin From the start the design of this giant hooked me, and out of all the Angels Sachiel has the most personality. He's a curious fella, and he never attacked until he was first attacked himself by the JSSDF. Sorta like a lost child. *hint hint* He was looking for mommy after all. (Of course this is all speculation on my part, don't take my word for it. I could also go off on a rant about how he was in a relationship with Shamshel, and made Zeruel jealous of him. ;D But I won't go there unless you really want me to.)

kaworu for sure because he was the only angel that cared for more than just himself, he actually wanted the earth to remain populated

L30nZ33 kaworu for sure because he was the only angel that cared for more than just himself, he actually wanted the earth to remain populated Well, Kaworu was the only "Angel" (if you can really consider him an Angel, per se) that was granted the gift of free will, which allowed him choose mankind's survival over his own. You can't say the other Angels were only out for themselves because that suggests that they hold the capacity to potentially not look out for only themselves. They're infant (yes infant; aside from Kaworu, none of them lived for more than a few months) animals that are basically just looking for their mother, Adam. You can't blame them for that, and you can't blame them for lashing out against humans when they did. As they say, a baby rattlesnake is more dangerous than a mature one.

He's Awesome ))  Gaghiel (( It looks like a Squirell ))  Israfel (( Nice Set OF Twins ))  Sandalphon (( I actually Like This Baby.... ))  Matariel (( He Did Absolutely Nothing ))  Sahaquiel (( Nice Colors and It's Name is really Cool. And Look at his Rebuild Of Evangelion Self ))  Rebuild of Evangelion  Iruel (( It Was the only one that Scared the s**t out of me ))  Leliel (( Um... No Real Explination..... ))  Arael (( Because... Well Mind Rape ))  Bardiel (( Because This is the Coolest Picture ever ))  Armisael (( It was Cool When he Infected Rei and HE bursted out of her Back as all of the angels combined ))  Angel Tower  I love these Guys  I dislike - Sachiel Because he's too played out. He's too common  - Shamshel Because it looks like a Big d**k...  - Kaowru. Too many Fangirls and Because Same Reason as Sachiel.... No offence to the Fangirls..

So essentially, your favoritism is with fourteen of the 17 angels, a tower of Angels in which Armisael created (and are the rudimentary Armisael itself), and then a set of Evangelions that aren't even Angels? I realize that Tabris was tricked by Seele into believing that Adam (Mommy/Daddy, however you look at it), but I was under the impression that all the other Angels knew damn well that it was Lilith being housed in Terminal Dogma. Whichever race triggers Third Impact essentially becomes the dominant species on that planet. Their goal was to reclaim Earth (which was originally chosen for them by the alien race that planted the White Moon) from humanity. Though it's possible that they could also be hunting for Adam's remains on top of this, given their behavior in the episode Asuka is introduced.

Captain Casper Reeves I realize that Tabris was tricked by Seele into believing that Adam (Mommy/Daddy, however you look at it), but I was under the impression that all the other Angels knew damn well that it was Lilith being housed in Terminal Dogma. No. Seele explicitly tells Kaworu exactly where Adam is in the Director's Cut of Episode 24, within Gendo's hand. But if Tabris knew that Adam had been absorbed into Gendo's hand, why did he bother breaking into Terminal Dogma at all? Why not just go after Gendo? Hence, the biggest plot hole in NGE. Matarael was more offensive than Sachiel initially was; Mati dropped acid down on the Evas before they had even done anything while Sachiel didn't do a thing until the VTOLs attacked him first.

Out of the angels , I think Ghagiel and Arael did'nt really do much. Ghagiel did attack ships , but that's his issue

Ghagiel did attack ships , but that's his issue Each Angel had different goals and followed their agenda in different ways. Ghagiel was one of the Angels that got the closest to its goal: Adam. Kaji was transporting the Adam embyro via convoy system along with Unit-01, and that was essentially Gaghiel's goal. Arael, on the other hand, was like Leliel and more curious about the human mind than anything else, so it probed Asuka's mind, causing her to break down. It probably learned quite a bit of information before getting speared, so it did far from nothing in terms of achieving its own goal.

Ah. I did'nt see that . The adam thing that Kaji was transporting , I missed that part.
I mean , Arael , If there were no Evangelion to defend them , Then It would'nt be a big issue. It was Just curious you know
