There was something about a trio in a WEAPON and TECHNICIAN combination that was so interesting to observe. The relationship dynamics when it was not just one on one that seemed to balance what might have been imperfect. With a nod, Jerard looked pointedly towards the door at the back.

"Andre. Aryana." he said, nodding at the twins. The protective mannerisms of the boy was nice to see. "Derek, as you know when you are paired with two individual WEAPONS, there is an increase in requirements for promotion." it'd be interesting to see how this TECHNICIAN would deal with the additional challenge.

"Michael will be here to show you around the different areas on campus. If you have any questions, you can direct them at him."

There. Dismissed.

One thing that Derek noticed about Jerard, was that the guy definitely was to the point. And while they weren't in the office for long, they were already being dismissed. Not that he minded. It just meant they were able to move about sooner. Before leaving the room, he glanced over at his new partners. Andre didn't seem very happy with the arrangement for the time being, but Aryana appeared to be fairly content.

"Don't worry about it Dre; besides, we have a technician finally!" she said.

"Maybe, but I'm still not so sure about this. You sure he's good enough?" uttered the brother lowly.

"I'm starting to think that you won't believe anyone is. Our wavelengths match up with his enough to be partnered up. So cheer up, please?"

Sighing, Andre didn't respond, and just looked over towards Derek somewhat warily. Then, grimacing, he walked over to the boy to say a few things.

"Alright. So we're partners now. But if you touch or hurt my sister, you're dead. Got it?"

"Technically... wouldn't I have to touch her? I mean... how else am I going to wield her," blinked the hazel eyed boy. It confused him, to say the least, as he didn't quite think of the other meanings the words might have. That aside, he didn't really pick up on the menacing undertones the older boy used.

And because of that, Andre... simply face palmed. Shaking his head to himself, he just left the room. Aryana sent Derek an apologetic look before following her brother out the door. And with a shrug, Derek did the same.

"So where are we headed first, Michael?"

Michael had been trying very hard to not listen in on the conversation. It was called being professional, really. But he couldn't help himself, and overhearing a smattering amused him. Was it always like this with twins? He wondered if his boss and Ashie had played the same dynamics with the one who had been their technician. He could believe that, almost. Looking down at the file he had in front of him, he motioned in the direction to the classrooms.

"If you have any questions during the tour let me know." he looked at the trio. "I'm not going to stop at each point to make sure you understand. You've been students here long enough that even if some of the areas were prohibited before, you should have some idea what happens." these introduction things always made him a little uncomfortable. It was part of his job so he tried to do his best, but he didn't really appreciate the fact that it felt awkward. He was being a tour guide. He, a Death Scythe reduced to showing new kids where to go and where not to go.

"I'll take you to the classrooms first." he frowned. Was he supposed to just lead the way then, and expect them to follow? What if one of them ended up getting lost? He motioned again. "Then to the missions department, and any where else you wan to go."

Yeah. Control. That was it. He could do this.

Once in the presence of Michael, the three fell silent. At least for the time being. Derek's gaze wandered about as he listened to his elder speak. To some extent, he didn't entirely want to be there. The day seemed really nice, so he would rather be outside. To say the least, it took a bit of self-restraint to keep him there for the time being.

Aryana listened patiently and attentively to Michael, nodding as he spoke. Andre, at first glance, seemed to be doing the same. But he was analyzing the guy really. The one before them was supposed to be a Death Scythe, so he had to be pretty strong. And one day... perhaps he and his sister may bear the same title (even if... they aren't scythes at all. That aspect always confused the twins to an extent). Noticing the look in her brother's eyes, Aryana cast him a quick glance before shaking her head to herself.

"Alright, lets go!" Derek exclaimed once Michael had finished his little speech. They may be inside, but it was good to get moving.

The classrooms... they didn't seem to be much of an interesting stop but it was a start.

"Please lead the way... professor.. Mr Michael... sir?"

Aryana wasn't entirely certain how they were to address the Death Scythe, and it showed.

At Aryana's question he grinned, relaxing a little bit. This couldn't be too difficult: look, the kids were harmless! "Michael is fine." he answered. He was touchy about someone calling him by his full name: and Mr. Michael-Smith sounded ridiculous to him as well. Besides... professor? His lips quirked into a grin. That was just weird.

Leading the way, he motioned to the different classrooms. "One, two, three, four six." he waved at them, pausing as he looked at five and the room next to six. "You have classes in the rooms I've mentioned." he looked at the trio. He wasn't really supposed to talk about what the other two rooms were for: they'd figure it out themselves. Or maybe they already had. Ashie had been given rules to stay away: Michael not so much. But still. It was something of a secret student club thing, and he wasn't going to interfere

He moved on, uncomfortable with the thought that someone might ask him about _that_. Better to ignore it and avoid it! Moving down the hallway he pointed to the bulletin board. "This is the mission pick up board. You'll find available missions here, as well as those that are currently in progress." he wondered who would be the ones to take this trio out on their first mission. That would be very interesting to watch.

The female of the twins nodded with a smile, then walked on to follow Michael down the hall with the boys. She and her brother exchanged glances briefly when the older man left out two of the classrooms. Having been there for a year, they knew what the deal with those two were, but it was still amusing that they were left out of this little tour.

On the contrary, their Technician had no clue of what went on in those two rooms.

"Er... I think you forgot to list a couple numbers," he mentioned while looking at the two left out. Maybe they weren't used as classrooms, but he still wanted to know what the deal with them were regardless.

"You'll find out later. It's not really important now," muttered Andre. For the most part, he wanted the tour to be over with, not much unlike how Derek felt. Though for him, it was mostly because he knew most of these areas already.

Noticing that Michael had begun to walk once again, the trio fell into step and stopped by the bulletin board. For now, they quickly glanced it over, curious of what sorts of missions were placed up. Much to the technician's pleasure, they were in places all around the globe. Once this was over, he made a note to pick up one of these missions with the others before spending some time outside.

"I always wondered... how exactly are we sent to these places? Is there a plane somewhere on the school to send us around the world?" asked Aryana while looking over the missions posted up.

Michael winced when he heard the question thrown in his direction by the technician. He'd just ignore it. Yeah. That was the way to do it: pretend he was hard of hearing. Actually, that wasn't such a bad idea. Make up some great war hero story from his past missions, and blame his selective hearing on that. He was sure that would be a good way of dealing with certain people. Relieved to hear that the boy (Andre, was it?) had decided to answer for him, he moved on to the next question.

Except... it was't easier to answer either.

He stared at the boy curiously. Did it really matter how they got to the places? Michael was one of those people who thought the ends justified the means. And that the means really didn't matter at all as long as he succeeded So he frowned for a second before answering.

"Magic?" was his response. It sounded lame even to him so he added to it. "We have portals where once you choose your mission, we input the destination. After it is completed a staff member or yourself, will press in the digits to call us and we'll bring you back." he knew some staff members who took a couple of days leave during these times to visit some parts of the world. Not that he'd tell on his boss.

Magic?

Pretty much all three had the same initial thought. Andre then raised an eyebrow, while the other two began to wonder just how it was like. None of them had ever used a portal before.

"That's actually pretty cool.." commented Derek after thinking about it for a moment. In a way, they'll get to find out how Blink from the X-men feels! Or rather how the others feel whenever she opens up a portal for them to use.

Aryana agreed that it was quite interesting. Sometime later, she would have to head to the library to see if there was any information on it. And with this part of the tour complete, she, as well as the others, tried to think of where they wanted to go next.

"I don't think we've been to the music room before..." mused the brother.

The music room? Well, maybe these three were gifted in that particular field. Michael himself had no real sense of rhythm apart from when it came to killing targets for the missions. So it would be curious to see if they were better. "I'll show you where it is, then." he responded. He pointed then absentmindedly to one of the doors. Right. Just before he forgot.

"This is where our offices are." he said, pausing. "You can find Alexis here sometimes, me most of the times and Ashie... when she isn't running around doing something else for the boss." By boss he meant all three, of course. It was easier to call them by the title than have to refer to them individually. Alexis was his direct boss, then there was Jerard, and then there was...

Well. Everyone knew who was on top.

"They've supplied me with maps to give all of you, both of the campus and of other areas outside in shibusen. Might help if there are areas you are unfamiliar with?" this really put the feather in the cap in making him feel like a tour guide. He started walking towards the music room, pausing for a moment to reach inside his jean pocket. Right. Here somewhere.

"Here." he said, turning to hand them all little business car d sized maps. "In case you get... lost."

Or something.

When her brother asked about the music room, Aryana glanced at him with curiosity. Neither of them played any instruments, though she did recall that he always wanted to try and pick up the guitar sometime. Maybe he thought now would be a good time to start? As for Derek, she didn't think he had any talents in the musical world... at least none that she was aware of.

"Thanks Mike!" said Derek with a grin. Seeing how things went for him the first day he was in the city, having a map for the school at least would be rather useful.

The three of them took a map each, taking a moment to look it over before glancing over at the offices that Michael had pointed out. While no one really had any plans to drop by the offices any time soon, it was a good thing to know most likely.

"So... can we go now?"

As far as he was concern, there really wasn't much else to see. But Andre thought it might be nice to ask before leaving.

Michael grinned. This was easy. He could do this again. And again. Okay. Maybe not too often, but it had gone better than he had expected it to. He nodded and almost waved a hand at them: but that would seem too much like a dismissal, and well... dismissals kind of seemed too much like Jerard to him.

"Sure thing." he said easily, nodding his head. "Good luck guys, and see you around."

It would be quite interesting to see the three of them at a mission. Maybe he'd be able to get them for one, one day.
