About the Profile Subforum Rules
Please follow the Gaia ToS.
No Marysues or Garysues - WE KNOW WHAT TO LOOK FOR. So should you.
No god modding, power playing, and all that tomfoolery. There is only a FEW God characters in this universe and NONE of them are PLAYABLE unless you can play them right. ( And if you want to play the Harvest God, Goddess, or ANY of the sprites you need to talk to us and have been rping with us for a WHILE. )
On the subject of Cannon characters, any character that has appeared in a previous Harvest Moon game is UP FOR GRABS. You are allowed to play them as long as you can play them right.
You are allowed for the time being four characters per person, if they become hard to handle you might have to drop a character.
If you are inactive or cannot keep up with your characters, we'll contact you. If you are going to leave the guild for a while, mark your Profile as inactive in the thread title in brackets.
Only one Profile thread per character. So if you have multiple characters, they each need their own thread.
No Rping in your Profile thread.
Other people are allowed to post in your thread to leave messages ( letters, phone calls ) and gifts or death threats for your character. May it be over the phone or even a letter... But only AFTER your thread is finished.
Label your thread with your Character's name.
Before entering roleplay, your profile should be completed.
You can decorate, recode, and make your profile as SPIFFY as you like it. Just please don't change the content in context or leave anything out. You can change the names of things, add more flare and more of a personal touch to your character's personal information.
Everyone can start with the maximum of 10,000 gold, no more. You can start out with less if you wish.

About Profiles
This is simple enough, your profile detailing your character goes here and it should be filled out completely; The code for the Character Profile is in one of the posts below, please try and be as thorough as possible.
About Achievements
This is a post to showcase badges, awards, and to mark achievements you've gained. Such as winning the cooking contest or catching a king fish or finding a rare flower. Achievements are really just that, things your character has accomplished or awards they have been given.
About Heart Rates
This is a post for your relationships with the other characters in Mizuumi Valley. The heart rate post is a detailed space for your relationships at a glance, showing particularly how you feel for the people you've met. Heart Rates and how they work are explained here in detail: Heart Rates and Relationships.
About Journals
This is not optional, you're character must have a journal, this is to help you stay active and catalog your RPs here on the guild. Write a small description of what it looks like, it could be a simple leather bound book or even sketch pad. Journals are used to keep track of roleplays you are in and also used to even talk about what's on your character's mind. If you like you can post pictures or even gift art of your character.

Character Creation Tips Here a few things tips about making characters:
The races that are allowed to be played are: Elves, Humans, Witches/Wizards, Orcs, and Half-Breeds.
A few things you need to know about the races -
Humans are, simply humans. They are skillful and adept at adjusting easily to new surroundings. - They learn how to use tools faster.
Elves are not very strong, but have an affinity to a certain area of skills ( cooking. farming, fighting), but are mediocre at everything else. Elves are not discriminated and only live slightly longer than humans.
Orcs are strong and tend to be good at doing manual labor, Orcs are not necessarily ugly and are not discriminated at all. - They craft items faster than the other races.
Wizards/Witches are somewhat few and far in between and they are not all powerful and all knowing! - They learn spells faster than any other race.
Half-Breeds are half and half of many of the more well known races that have graced the world. - What they are good at depends on their combination.

Try and keep in mind the theme of the guild - This is a Runefactory/Harvest Moon based RP. Even more so, this takes place more than 200 years or so after the first game... So, really - nothing futuristic ( this isn't *Innocent Life ) and try to keep in mind of that. We do have trains and large boats, but we also have a few modern conveniences. Cars are rare and far in between, but bicycles are uncommon and horse travel is still in use.
If you are have trouble making a character, try to think about some of the things that happened in Runefactory or even in any of the other HM games!
How about an Ex- Solider who wants to have the simpler life? A mysterious letter beckoning them to help a long forgotten town is cause enough to leave the life he had been wanting to leave behind and do some good.
Or a Big City Girl is looking for something more than the hustle and bustle?
Or a young girl is lost looking for her family? Anything is possible! All you need to know is that they've received a mysterious letter asking them to come to Mizuumi Valley for help! And I won't hold it against you if you use the ideas I just listed. XD
ALSO - you can play characters from previous Harvest Moon games! ( Excluding the God/Goddess and the Sprites. ) So if you don't want to make an original character you can play a preexisting one.
Don't think we're not looking, if there is something fishy about your character I'm going to point it out.
* innocent life is a futuristic harvest moon game.

Profile Skeleton Please fill out the profile as much as you can and please if you can be, be as detailed as possible. If you are having trouble filling out your profile you can simply PM this account or Aphrodite Moonfire or Diehard_dreamer for help.
You can decorate your profile post however you please, even be a little more fancy than how this was made. You can switch around and even spread out your profile into different posts ( such as Inventory can be a separate Post, but is not required to be). You can add as much as you want to what's already here if you like as well.
Or even use a completely different profile template, it's up to you. Don’t be afraid to mix it up, add things, or change stuff around.
What's important is that you have a unique character that you have fun playing with. Whats most critical is that you have a profile that tells people about your character, their likes, dreams, wishes... etc.

Gifts & Heart Rate Skeleton
A guide to Gifts/Heart rates is here ( LINK ) and explained how you are to use them, while its not a huge big deal here. It's something that is fun to do and adds the Harvest Moon like element to roleplay. Basically, just list your characters favorite to hated gifts, and how they would react at the various heart levels. You don't really have to do it, but I think it's fun and would be a good reminder to keep an idea how to treat someone that you have that kind of relationship with. ( Also, if some of you are like myself it might be a nice reminder in case you forget ).
