[Mizuumi Valley]

(( This "Book" thread explains about the different races in Mizuumi Valley, along with their abilities. ))

Wedged between textbooks and funny smelling novels about love you find a book detailing about different races of the valley. It's rather thick and looks as though it's been tended to with care. As you read through the book you note that it describes many customs, information, and facts about the many different races seen with in the world. It seems there is ample room in the back in case new chapters need to be written.

Humans were the first well known race in the world, as time progressed it seemed that many scholars were wrong about their assumption that we humans were the only sentient beings roaming the country sides. In fact, there are many races and half-breeds, through time we as a people of this world have come together over many centuries to accept one another. Luckily we have all come to agree to share this life with each other and we can all be thankful for that.

As of this time, there are four known races; Humans, Elves, Orcs, and Witches and Wizards. This text you are holding details what little information we were able to gather about all of the races that have been discovered. Perhaps one day you will discover a new race!

Humans

Humans come in all shapes and sizes, though their hair tends to run in a more natural shades this can be left up interpertation to what "natural" is. Humans are a racial jack of all trades and are wonderful at adapting to their surroundings easier. Adventurous and good by nature, humans are very good at being sympathetic with other races.

Humans also tend to share many cultural qualities of other races, taking fashion, habits, and even training. It is not uncommon of a human to have facial tattoos or wear clothing similar to that of a wizard.

Determined and confident in their abilities, humans tend to gravitate to life skills that bring benefits to everyone around them - most of the time. They are how ever more proficient with tools than any other race, being able to learn how to use them much faster and with more dexterity.

Elves

Elves are thin humanoids with long pointed ears, how long and how pointed depends on the elf. Elves come in different shades of skin tone and various different hair color and styles. Hair for elves can be any shade found in nature - Ranging from Vibrant Blue to pale silver.

An Elf tends to focus themselves around a certain life skill they are good at or interests them - Like if you like plants, you should try to become a farmer or if you like Animals, you should try to become a rancher. Or if the Elf is good at cooking it will go and pursue it's life to be a chef. Though sometimes this is not the case, just because an elf is good at one thing does not mean they are terrible at everything else. Their interests and hobbies simply just tend to gravitate what they are best at, because of this elves are almost always good at a set of "themed" skills and average with most other skills and terrible at one skill. For example, if you are good at cooking you are most likely good at making potions, but are average when it comes to housework and terrible at making clothing.

Elves live slightly longer lives than most of the other races, only by 20 or so years than a human's natural life span.

Orcs

Orcs are taller, stronger humanoids with small pointed ears and strange skin tones. Their skin comes in a variety of shades, as well as their hair. Styles and shapes of hairstyles however vary to the orc, though most tend towards dreadlocks or have wild untameable hair. Orcs like to where jewelry and favor body piercings and tattoos above all else.

Orcs are strong beings, a little stubborn and very good with their hands. Most Orcs make good Blacksmiths, jewelcrafters, or anything that requires precision and craftsmanship. Due to this Orcs are proficient when it comes to crafting of any kind may it be making tools, furniture, or making trinkets.

Orcs live just as long as humans do.

Half-Breeds
Half - Elves, Humans, Wizards, and Orcs

Half - Breeds are made with the union of two races and will shares many qualities of both races and so because of this it is difficult to decribe them as they change in comparison to another.

( OOC: AKA Meaning that there is no set look or personality for half-breeds, they have a combination of both races or can look how ever you chose. )

There are many different possible combinations:

Half Elf - Half Human

Half Elf - Half Orc

Half Elf - Half Wizard

Half Orc - Half Human

Half Orc - Half Wizard

Half Human - Half Wizard

Wizards and Witches

Witches and Wizards are magical humans, they do tend to however be mistaken for half elves do to the race itself has slightly point ears, their hair ranges in lighter tones like silver or white, and they tend to have bright colored eyes. Witches and Wizards are adept to using magic, so thusly they learn magic twice as fast than any other race. ( though this ability is not limited to just Witches/Wizards!).
