Character Rules
1. Everyone is Human, no one can be a vampire, werewolf, demon, or undead. 2. Everyone starts off in a different group other then Knights. This way you have a story to tell of how you came to join the Knights. 3. More to come

2. The Story thus far
Knight Fall
The year is 2100, and the world is not what it once was. Shadows of everlasting night spread across the continents. Seven years ago, Europe was consumed with the fires of World War III - what we now call the Dark War, so named because of the mysterious dark events that began during this war. No one knows what happened exactly, but what we do know is this: the world would never be the same.
A darkness creeps from within Europe consuming everything it touches. The continent lies in silence, hundreds of millions are dead and the night continues to consume our world. Out of this night come monstrous creatures; the likes of which we've only seen in our darkest imaginings. Vampires, werewolves, undead, and demons now lurk the surface of our planet. What were once only horror stories are now our living nightmares.
Most countries have been completely consumed in darkness. Those left in the Eastern Hemisphere (primarily Asia and Russia) are now being evacuated to fortified cities in the U.S. where the darkness has only just begun to spread.
New forces to battle the creatures of the night have recently been assembled. One of these teams, an elite team of mercenaries called the Knights, is being assembled to battle the darkness....

4. Forces
Clerics - Fighting Priests and Religious People: When the world fell into darkness, those of all different religions joined together to form the Clerics. Now they are a group of modern religious warriors trained in martial arts and marksmanship. Normally found wearing a long white cloak with a red cross on the back, as well as firearms (normally two pistols). They have a more experience in the talent talent of Faith.
 
The Order - The New Military: This is what the U.S. Army has turned into. They are now seen wearing black uniforms, that have been modified for monster fighting.
 
The Silencers - The special forces of The Order: They are the best of the best in The Order. Instead of wearing a basic uniform, they wear a specialized armor. Also there are only 20 men in this division. They are thought to have undergone genetic experimentation. No one really knows what these experiments did to them, but we are sure to find out.
 
Hunters - The Hunter's Guild can be found in every city left standing. here is also rumor that the Guild has built its own city within the U.S. but only Guild members know where. These are guys that specialize in hunting certain monsters (vampire hunters, werewolf hunters, undead hunters, and demon hunters) and so are normally seen traveling in groups of about four. Hunters fight for the bounty, offered by the Guild, for certain monsters.
 
Ronin - Wandering warriors: They are Mercenaries in a way. They travel around looking for a place that might require their skills in swordsmanship. They live and die by the sword, and refuse to use any other weapon.
 
Knights - The main group of our RP. A group of mercenaries that is being put together to go on extremely dangerous missions in hopes of finding out what is causing the darkness in the world.

5. Character Bios
Building Your Character
Everyone gets 20 points to put into their characters stats. Each stat can only go up to 10, and also requires at least one point in each category (except Faith-you may have 0 Faith if you desire, Clerics automatically get one). You may view stats available and what they are for under "Stats" below.
The stats are basically just to give everyone an idea on a scale from 1 to 10 what a characters strengths and weaknesses are. These stats apply to battle situations only. For example, if someone gets into a fight with a NPC, and the NPC has a 9 in strength and stamina, then they will be very hard to bring down - but their weakness is that they have a low agility and are therefore very slow. So in this battle a character with high agility would be the best opponent. They would be able to dodge a good majority of the NPC's attacks. But please remember we will be role playing this out and so these stats are to help you in determining the out comes of battles, but it will be partly how you react in the RP. Also no one is invincible so even someone with high agility can still get hit.

AVATAR (from tektek.org) In the avatar, I ask that you try to make your characters similar to the examples of the different forces. In this I ask you please keep at least one or two of the items that they are wearing. (ex. Clerics probably should wear the bishops cloak, seeing as how this is an important part of the character description)
Stats:
Strength - This determines how strong one is. It also determines how hard one hits, and how much damage they can inflict.
Agility - This determines how fast a character is and how well they can dodge attacks.
Stamina - This determines how much of a beating a character can take.
Focus - This determines how focused a character is in battle. specially important for anyone using a gun. If you are a sniper you will want a 9 to 10 here.
Faith - This is a special stat. A character with this stat receives help from above. At every third rank in this (3, 6, 9) the character will receive a special ability. They are Healing(3), Barrier(6), Smite(9). A character with Healing can heal others wounds. The barrier can be used in battle to protect from attacks, however it only protects the front so what your back ans sides. The smite ability allows the character to use a light/holy attack on creatures of the night and so dealing a massive blow to them.
(Arcane Gene - This is only for those who are in the forces Silencers, they get to have a weapon that has magical properties, ex. flame sword. These abilities are brought about by the genetic experimentation that Silencers go through. They receive the ability to use one of five attributes, fire, ice, earth, air, or poison. This is then released through their weapon. In order to have this ability you must be a forces - Silencer, but please ask me about this first. We don't want everyone being Silencers because of this. Also just because you have the ability doesn't mean that your character will be amazing. Each force has it's own charm.)

Name: Shikai Kross (person: Kyo) Age: 24 Forces: Silencer, now he is Leader of the Knights Personality: Quiet type, doesn't like to be rushed, and always looking to fight the creatures of the night. Weapons of Choice: Katars Nationality: U.S. Background: Was asked by a certain person, to form a group that would be looking into the mystery behind this darkness that is spreading across the globe. Was once a renowned member of the force known as Silencers, and now he is recruiting for his new force called Knights.
