Date: Night 26, 882 Aprés le Miracle

Winter is especially cold this year and even many of the normaly outdoor advanturers and Nomads are moveing to the city to get either suplies or find a warm place to stay.

Salvatore Forelli : Even though your good reputation keeps you suplied with jobs and food, the area you are in now isn't all that rich. And altough you could just knock on a door and ask for food, you couldn't bare the thought of eating food from people that were already poor. Going to a big city wouldn't be a bad idea, besides you heard quite a few rumors about the payment of jobs in the city. Now money might not be your thing, you know you need it to survive this winter.

Lloyd Bloodmane : Since you only resently became a Mercenary jobs haven't gone your way yet, and those that have weren't neither provitable or interesting. Therefore going to a big city might be the best thing to do.

Makka Grievance : Since the weather has gone quite bad the increase in storms in the last few days haven't been kind on your hours of sleep. Your weather sence tells you that the weather would even get worse the next few days. Even though you don't like the idea, you see no other choice then to move to a city either for shelter or warmer clothes and supplies.

Solomon Chosiel : A day ago a letter arived for you asking you to come to The City of Triskellian, the biggest and most important city of Calabria, to sign some last papers concerning your inheritage. The weather is cold, but thanks to you cloak it isn't that bad. Normaly you would probably have used a Destrier or even a Carriage with Dray, but since those lizards are cold blooded they probably wouldn't get far in this weather.

A branch snaps as an armored figure steps on it as he slowly marches along the road, he stops and raises his visor with an armoured claw to get a clearer view. With a grin he says to himself "there it is" as he spots the city on the horizon, "heh, they should have some work there" he chuckles as he lowers his visor, hefts his shield, and continues along the road.

While passing the armoured figure Solomon, wrapping his cloak a bit tighter around himself, mutters "bloody mercs" and continues down the Road.

Normally not one to take to roads; Makka had decided against neglecting them this time around. Her mind was too tired to pay much attention and she mumbled a curse to the weather as her gaze observed two figures not that far ahead of her. Her ears sat forward in interest but little more then that was displayed as she continued to wander along the road.

Well accustomed to roads (seeing as it was easier to let foolish bandits ambush him than to actually track them down), Salvatore was still finding this one rather boring. His prized foil Mirabelle lightly tapped against his leathers as he walked, seeming to keep time for him as he made his way towards the larger (and likely more prosperous) city.

Generally alert, the mouse mercenary took note of the figures ahead of him and approached the fox archer. "Good day!" he exclaimed, the sound of his own voice ringing rather sweetly in his own ears. "Lovely weather, isn't it?"

He gave a brief bow as he easily met their stride. "Salvatore Forelli," he said by way of introduction.

A strong winds starts to blow from the East, which chills to the bone.

The sudden drop in temperature causes Lloyd to sneeze, other then that he pays the wind no mind as he continues towards the city.

Solomon stops in his tracks at the sudden gust and looks to see if anyone on the road is in need of any assistance

Her ears twitched when she caught a voice that she wasn't entirely sure if it was directed at her. Looking to her side she spotted the mouse and sent a cruious glance before frowning.

"Lovely weather?" she muttered; her point made before she had spoken again as a cold wind caused her to shudder and wrap her arms around her torso while adjusting her grip on her bow. "Prey do tell, would you have a twisted definition for lovely weather because right now this is not what I would consider 'lovely'." she spoke with more ferocity in her voice then she intended. Well, feeling cold and having a lack of sleep does have to get to you and Makka was feeling farely irritable. Given the chance, she'd probably apologize when she wasn't so cold and tired.

"Perhaps not lovely in a conventional sense," Salvatore replied, seemingly ignoring the vixen's tone. "There is, however, something to be said for a brisk, chill wind and interesting weather like we've had lately. After all, it tends to bring people, even total strangers, together as they seek shelter. Further, it definitely keeps one sharp."

"For example, sharp enough to notice when someone offers their name, yet the gesture isn't reciprocated," he continued, a bit of gentle chastising coming from the mercenary. "Forgive me if I offend, but it seems to me your temperament is as foul as you see the weather to be. Do you travel alone through such conditions, or perhaps one of those ahead is your escort?"

Suddenly a small Rat comes out of the bushes on the left of the road.
He isn't wearing much, just an old shirt and pants that have seen better days. He could easly freeze in this weather with only that the protect him.
"H-h-help me..I..i'm so c-cold." He slowly says as he walks to Solomon and Lloyd since they are the nearest to him.

But what was that? Did you hear something? Or was it just the wind.
