Physical Description: Salvatore is a mouse in his prime. Well conditioned from his apprenticeship and subsequent career, the tan-furred mercenary would be quite imposing were it not for his talkative and upbeat manner. His green eyes, though sharp and alert, reflect his rather soft-hearted, almost noble nature.
Both his body and his gear are well cared for. He makes sure to keep his fur cleaned and groomed when time permits. Further, he makes it a point to keep Mirabelle in peak condition.
He generally carries himself in a manner more befiting a knight than a white shield, though just a bit more relaxed than a true knight or soldier.
Backstory: Salvatore was born third child of six to a successful family of merchants in a town in Rinaldi territory. With the relative wealth his family had obtained, and with his only male sibling (an older brother) being groomed to take over the family business, he was allowed considerable freedom from an early age. However, as any youth given such freedom, he readily abused it, and was therefore placed in apprenticeship to a retired mercenary and friend of the family in an effort to teach him discipline.
Though he initially resisted, Salvatore found himself acclimating to his new master and his training regimen, especially some of his master's occasional tales of valor and bravery. As he grew to respect and admire his master, he took to his lessons with greater enthusiasm, particularly his lessons on swordplay, a foil quickly becoming his weapon of choice.
Eventually, Salvatore became a full adult. Unfortunately, his family's funds, due to a rise in the number of bandits in the area, were starting to run thin. Seeking to aid them, he decided to follow in his master's footsteps and become a sell-sword. His parents initially balked, but their waning finances and his promise of a cut of his profits overcame their initial objections. His master, however, was far more receptive, deeming him ready, and gifting him with what became his most prized possession, his foil Mirabelle.
Accepting this gift, Salvatore took to the mercenary life, and by his current age of 26, he'd managed a reputation as a gifted swordsman and an excellent hire, a credit to his master.
