Think Tank Do you have any ideas on how to improve the guild? Do you have an idea for our annual ball? What about other sub-forums you would like to see? Well, just post them in this thread, and the members of staff will see them and take note.

How about an area/thread for people who want to get opinions on original characters not actual stories? Sometimes, I would like a second opinion on a character I created, because I don't want him or her to be a Sue/Stu. Plus, some people might have ideas on how to make my character better.
This really helps in the area of fan fiction.

Say what about if we have something like a writing exercise or drill we want to share with the group? Where would it go? It'd have to be in separate threads, because the rules are going to be different.
Is there a questions and answers thread for the stuff that's questionable on where it should go and other technical stuff?

The Think Tank is where you post your comments and questions, you're posting it in the correct place. As for your writing excercise, that would go in this sub-section of the guild.

I thought I should check this idea before I actually did it.
Do you think I could start some thread about writing Podcasts? I don't see why it would be a problem unless it was considered plagiarism. Because plagiarism isn't allowed in this guild I thought I should clarify what may be considered plagiarism.

I have another question! What if our fan fic is a crossover of series from different categories? Say if I wanted to write a fic with Final Fantasy VII and Bleach? Where would it go?
Also what about coauthor fics?

like older podcasts made by other people....i would give them credit though and sure that it was very clear what they say and what i say
They are like amazing podcasts for writers though and i think people should be able to read them even if they don't have iTunes
(i would type up what they say because one guy has a really strong british accent and a lisp so some words are really hard to understand if you aren't british or have lots of experience with people with british accents)

Chibi - All Anime, Game, Book, and Cartoon crossovers go in the Miscellaneous sub-section. Please check the Announcement link (Miscellaneous Directory) for what is allowed. The link will take you to what is acceptable.

*debates before actually saying anything.* Would you mind terribly if we started a list of authors in the guild, where they write, who they have favorited, who has favorited them and so on and so forth.
