I'll start with a little art discussion. The silly picture on our home page is actually "The Destruction of Leviathan" by Gustave Dore. I obviously imposed a picture of one of my avi's in place of god, to look like I'm holding his sword, hehehe. Take that, god!

Welllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllll......
I don't believe modern art has a future. All modern artists strive to break new grounds, but it's as the Bowen puts it. The pendulum analogy. It's done swingin. It's just sitting here, for a really long time. Neo anythings will accomplish nothing at reviving the dead. Everything is already a walking zombie, or ghost, trying to be copied, and starving for inspiration. I don't think modern artists as just artists have much hope at finding anything, or begining anything fresh. No revolutions, except the kind against modern/pop art, and the faux cliques, just trying to be ridiculous or controversial (NOT political) to get peoples attention. Relatively, now, of course, more than before, political art and awareness is so much more inspiring, and hopeful, and important. The streaming propoganda, and think-tank media have desensitized amerikkka, at least, into a shriveled, one way thought nation. Opening their eyes with it is so sparkly fresh. heart But uh... I was gonna say something... I have alot of people, and if I considered all my freinds, then it would probably be all of them, that have nothign to do with the church (I'm sure they'd have plenty to say), and I'm sure that one of the things they would say is that they owe nothing to it. Well, I know there is one thing I DO owe it, and I hadn't ever actually considered until recently. If ANYTHING, you at least owe religion art. Since the begining of time man has tried to replicate that which mystified him, and he could not wrap his mind around. (I could say alot right now, but my crew could be religous, and I will respect that, cause I loves em.) so anywayyyyyyy, god, and religion were seriously the prime movers in the advancement of art, and the arts throughout all of history. You at least owe religion, art. And so saying that art (in hypothesis is the only good thing that came of religion), then of course, what is the worst thing that came of it? War? Yeah... So does that make the opposite of War... Peace? (NO. In my opinion, peace is impossible. Peace is merely the lack of conflict, and not the utopian world with doves flying about we think. Peace... is just hopeful. From here on it, it is my opinon that the world will live in a fearful detente.) The opposite of war is art! Nah, it isn't but it makes sense that they are completely different poles. Just not polar opposites.
..I don't remember where I was going, I just know that the yuck battles are brutal, and this is a comfortable, lovely scented place to be.

W.I.P. of Panx. I'll replace it with the coloured version when I'm done. I know there's probably a lot of things wrong with it, but I still like him. 4laugh

As soon as I finish up some things I will get some things on here. And maybe me and Conrad can get some of our cooperative sketches up?
(Mostly Conrads effort though.)

More art. I drew this one ages ago, so the colorings a bit dodgy. This one I drew quite recently, but it was rushed; you can tell the further it goes down the picture. I got lazy heh. ^.^ They were both drawn and coloured on the computer.
