The sun rose on the surface of the ocean, casting a rosy light across the sea. Running through the surf, weaving and dipping between the surges of water, was a lithe male Shikoku. Pausing for a moment to turn a blithe smile to the dark-haired girl running beside him, he gave his wings a little flutter and sped off again. Stopping to catch her breath, the girl watched him with a kind of motherly fondess in her face. Her green eyes tracked the toxic green Shikoku as he raced along the shore.
