Lucky, I don't have a DS right now, maybe I'll buy the guide just to look at the pertty pictures.

...suck, to say the least.
And pairing-shoving is not as nearly as worse as gratification shipping, though the former is rudely annoying as well.
Because in gratification shipping, some fantards actually put two characters together because they think they're hot and want to read/write/draw/look at those two (or more) hot characters doing it with each other.
Not to mention the crappy fanfic where you can change the names and it wouldn't really make a difference.
...Because it's called fanfiction for a reason. Even if one is making the characters do things they wouldn't normally do in canon, their personalities and such still have to be canon.
Pairings that you are tired of being shoved in your face
Not really any pairing. I can hate pairings on the criteria on how it's shoved in my face.
I mean, look at the ship_manifesto LJ community. There are many people declaring their advocacy of their pairings and presenting "a contextual understanding of what makes the pairing work" (as quoted from their info). Some of the essays are very well-written and even have persuaded me to ship particular pairings.
But I consider myself a quintessential multishipper...in most fandoms, I can be comfortable with shipping any pairing, even if I tend to gravitate a lot towards others. We seem to be rare in fandoms these days.
Any and all fandoms you have practically been chased out of because of fantards
One word: Naruto.

surprised not a COLOR... HOSHIZ ME TOO. eek I kinda gave up on Naruto. I watched it from like the first episode. Then suddenly "OMG NARUTO"-ness happened. As for pairings, the only truly canon pairing in what I'm into right now is Johanna and Anthony in Sweeney Todd, and only cause they elope together (or at least try to). I also have a dilemma- I want these two characters to get together (sort of- it's a onesided thing), but I know it's not right and it would destroy canon completely; to ship would be suicide that I would enjoy until I realized I wuz deds. Besides, the whole appeal in the relationship is its morbid dysfunctionality! In Great Expectations, I think HerbertEstella would make some excellent crack. But canon? Pshaw. If anyone tries to shove PipEstella/PipBiddy/ToddLovett/revival!Tobynameless!Doctor/RoyEd/SakuNaru/RockLeeGaara in my face, I'll be mad. Even though I find some of these tolerable, many of them defy canon or lack proof. Heck, ANY pairing in my face is annoying. I have the week off too. Yay for us lucky people.

Ed/Roy, Uchihacest, and Sasuke/Naruto are the only ones that really bore/bother me.
Any and all fandoms you have practically been chased out of because of fantards
Naruto and Bleach. I didn't bother to watch past episode 5 of Bleach, it was just really, really boring for me.
As far as FMA pairings go, I can see how Roy/Winry could work, anime-wise. Actually, that's a fun thought to think about. O: I support EdWin and Royai because I think it's cute and interesting.
If I didn't have any qualms about liking gay/lesbian relationships, liked gay/lesbian relationships, and didn't have to fear that my parents would kick me out of the house, burn me, and condemn me to Hell if I liked gay couples, then I'd ship EdHeid. I have a tiny little soft spot for EdHeid, which is the only gay slash pairing I would enjoyably read. But only fluff. :>
I think the only gay couple that I actually do support and ever will is KuroFai. I just love those two together. <3

I have/had a GBC, GBA, GBA SP, PS2, and a Game Cube, and will be getting a DS when I go to buy Pok'emon D/P. I don't like XBoxes at all.
