A messenger hawk may be seen circling above. It landed on its normal spot waiting until someone came to answer him. The note is inside a carrier on its back. Once someone opens the note... The note reads: "Ruler of Aqua,
The rulers of Terrae apologize for our lack of communication. Times have grown horrid as it seems. Our kingdom came under attack. Signs show that the source were Ignis soldiers. I am sending messages out due to our Queen. She is missing in action. We fear the soldiers may have taken her hostage.. or worse. Please help us keep an eye out for her. I fear Terrae may enter into a war soon should Ignis be responsible for her absence. I do apologize ahead of time. There is no telling who they will attack. Please, be careful and alert. I am Queen Demetria's elder brother and adviser. Until she is returned safely home, I obtain her duties as King of Terrae.
King Cernunnos Kai Beifong of Terrae"

In the distance, the people of Aqua and their King could see a slow forming of a storm. It seemed natural enough to the innocent eyes. However, the forecast did not call for any form of storm. The King could see that the storm forming was going to hit the Coastal Homes first. After a moment, the rain down poured over the Coastal Homes. The feeling was eerie. Something was definitely up. Possibly, the storm could have been created by a very powerful Marked.. or from many.

(OOC: As Houjin of After events of Holy Temple) Guards of the water kingdom crossed their spears, blocking a robbed stranger who appears to be a Terrae citizen of sorts given his green shade of color. "Halt!" one of the guards spoke, "None shall pass without authorization from the king! State your business here or go back!" Houjin smirked underneath the wide brim of his bamboo hat, to which he simply pushed it over to reveal his face. Shocked, the guards immediately recognized long missing fire king right before their very eyes. "I've come to see the Aquan King, it is of diplomatic urgency and importance." Though Houjin was kindred and subtle, the guards were still rigid stiff in hearing it directly from the mouth of Houjin himself. "O-O-Of course! Right this way!!" said both guards in unison, then opened the gates in unison and also unison they both tried to entered it...and got stuck. They also quarreled at each other and stammered back in unison too. They certainly are double gate guards. Houjin wondered if these two were twins or something. Eventually, they sorted out their awkward mess and one of the guards soon escorted Houjin into the premises of the kingdom. Many of the staff and other guards looked to him bewilderment; how such a great king be dressed in such tattered peasant clothing? The guards in particular feel most nervous for the fact that, in the comfort of their own kingdom, this former general once single-handed defeated a marked using his own power, others for his merit in defeating Terrae though they were probably not aware of the full stories, is now walking in their halls. Should a battle break out, they wouldn't be sure what to do even though water has such an advantage over fire. Houjin paid them no heed of their stares however and went on until they arrived at the throne room. "The king will see you shortly, please have a seat. Would you like anything else while you wait?" the guard kindly offered as a guest seat was arranged for him the castle servants. "Ah, yes. Please bring me some seaweed tea, I really would like some." Houjin said as he took the seat offered. The guard gives a bow as his replies then nudges his chin to the servants to get what the Houjin asked for. The guard then proceeds to find his lord. Now the fat old man awaits for the water king's arrival. ...his chair felt very comfy.

Syl sighed, eyeing the storm in the distance. True it did look nasty... He grabbed a towel that laid on the stone. Part of the castle connected to the sea, such a swim like that was calming. He walked through his home, watching his servants and guards run around like chicken with their heads cut off. This only happened when a certain someone came to visit... He roughly rubbed his head with the towel as he walked into the thrown room, standing in front of Houjin. "If you would kindly please remove yourself from my seat, King Houjin, I'd be fairly glad." He asked, clothes dripping and sagging on him from his jump. "What brings you to my castle, of all places? Here I thought you disliked my people."

(OOC: I think I made it clear he was provided a guest seat not the throne.) Houjin was about to fall into a slumber until a voice spoke up. "If you would kindly please remove yourself from my seat, King Houjin, I'd be fairly glad." He asked, clothes dripping and sagging on him from his jump. "What brings you to my castle, of all places? Here I thought you disliked my people." Hojin then proceeded to get himself up, which was no easy feat given his weight and a breathed a sigh of relief. "Ah my fellow king, that would've been true with most of my people and in the past but times have changed, I have grown a much different and enlightened perception of the kingdoms as of late, it's quite story I wish I could tell share." He however, breathes a sigh, "However, as much as I want to romanticize you the properties of mutual peace, am afraid certain circumstances have prompt me to come here and they are of urgent business which requires a delicate procedure." Noticing how soaked the king was, Houjin then kindly offered to gently dry the Aquan king with a soft radiant heat--no flames. "If it's not your liking, please tell me so." He then proceeded onto his business, "By now, or later am certain you have a letter asking for the whereabouts of the Terrae Queen with accusations stating that an attack to a Terrae town village was done by Ignis soldiers. I can assure you I've given no such commands to attack a village nor do I have the queen in my custody but at this point it will be simply be my word against the adviser's. I would gladly help the Terrans in finding these culprits if indeed one my people had went rogue to do this nefarious act.but the Terrans can be stubborn. In particular, Cernunnos Kai Beifong may not even listen to reason so I fear in the worst case, there will be another war outbreak between the two kingdoms." He then looked into the Syl's eyes with solemn aged and weary eyes, "and believe me, we of Ignis desire nothing more than peace. This is where I must ask for your help." He then turned and rose his pointy finger up high, "Granted, Lux would've been more ideal but I am already here, I apologize beforehand for 'sneaking' into one of your temples but I had my reasons for secrecy, none that would harm you or your kingdom however. Originally, I would've just wanted to ask access to one of your libraries about your ancient water healing magic techniques. I know it sounds unlikely a fire-wielder could ever hope to use them and unheard of, which why I rather come here in person than send a lowly messenger to emphasize my point and yes, I'm prepared for the possible consequences to go as far as being locked up in a dungeon..." Houjin could see some of the guards still running amock, "...if it helps to keep your security from running scared," he then chuckled then shook his head, "more so, I would not also recommend my own people to tell my exact whereabouts or we may have another war on our hands." "But there is also another thing I must ask from you..." and then out of the blue, Houjin's eyes went heavy. His head slowly lopped to the side of his shoulder and he soon, sounds of snoring could be heard. Yes, the bold king of the fire kingdom, suddenly just dozed off, standing right in front of Syl. Such was the troubles with aged old people. They to be shrugged awake now and then, and hopefully did not forget in doing so.

Almost as if by complete irony or planned, the hawk from the window flew further into the castle. It followed the King of Aqua up until after Houjin explained the letter. [Speak of the devil] The hawk either landed on Syl's shoulder or flew in place until he took the letter. If he did not take the letter, the impatient hawk would remove the letter and toss it onto the floor before taking off.
King Cernunnos Kai Beifong of Terrae"At this point, the storm outside formed in odd patterns. It was as if it were forced. Some might say that a Marked, one of wind and water, could be the cause. After all, why would Ventus and Lux work together to attack Aqua. It would be strange and random of all things.

Houjin was dreaming about sailing on a ship in the open seas in search of tea. While on his crow's nest he just realized something....the whole sea IS made up of tea! He jumped off the nest then plunged into sea and dubbed it "Nestea". He slowly woke up later swinging his arms and legs on the floor. "What?" He stumbled on his back then stroked his chin. Houjin tried to make another dive again hoping the floor would turn into water and splash like in his dream but instead he got pain. Good thing he fell on his belly first. The silly old man quickly got up on his feet when he heard the rumble of a storm outside. This was too drastic and strange, a few moments ago it was a clear quiet weather before he came to the gates. He then turned to the Aquan king, "Winter is coming." He shook his head, "Sorry, I mean, it's going to be a dark stormy night, wait that sounded like a bad horror story." He then cleared his throat a bit. "My fellow king, a catastrophe is coming to your kingdom."

Dart was walking towards the castle at this point. He chuckled and looked over at Cheshire. "I'll take your comment as a compliment. So, thank you Miss Cheshire. Always a pleasure to receive such praise from someone such as yourself." He made a fancy gesture with his hand, bowing as he walk. Some might say that was him being the goof that he was. Others might say he was charming. Though, there are women that find him absolutely annoying. Which ever Cheshire was, that should be revealed shortly. However, Dart most likely won't notice it. He was always bad with that sort of thing.
The gates of the castle were nearing. The guards swarmed at the door. Before the guard could state for Dart to speak, in the same manner that they greeted Houjin. Dart held out a hand, silencing him. "D'Artagnan Eiori, Royal Adviser to Queen Haruka of Ventus. Forgive my sudden appearance, I did not send notice ahead of my arrival." He actually started walking as he was talking. "The matter is of utmost importance." The man placed his hand on Dart, halting him. Dart's eyes didn't look at the guard first. His eyes were on the storm as the howling winds grew. His eyes shot back at the guard. "Let me through. The storm is growing as we speak. The longer you stand here and try to stop a Royal, of all things, from entering to speak with your King.. the more people are dying out there!" He pushed his way pass the guards, making some of them clear the way. "Oh, lay a hand on the lady.. despite the respect I have for your King, you might just loose it." The look on Dart's face was fierce. It was no longer the smiling playful Dart. He was on business now. He is the Royal Adviser of Ventus. He made sure Cheshire was with him before entering the castle. He turned around and looked at the guards, smiling. "I apologize for my rude behavior. I hope you all shall forgive me." The smile was genuine. Some might find it odd or completely psychotic for someone to change moods so quickly.
Dart made his way to the King of Aqua and Houjin, King of Ignis thanks to one of the guards. He thanked the guard for his assistance. He walked over and bowed to the Kings. He recognized them both instantly. Despite Ventus's peaceful ways, the Queen made sure those that worked under her knew as much as they could about the surrounding nations. He kept his bowing stance until either King told him to rise. "Pardon my interruption, your highnesses. I am D'Artagnan Eiori, Royal Adviser to Queen Haruka of Ventus. This woman is my ally." There was a pause, so she may introduce herself if she pleased. "On behalf of Queen Haruka and the people of Ventus, I've come to report the status of Ventus and our concerns for the state of the neighboring nations." He was still bowed, but his eyes lifted to make eye contact. "Our peaceful nation was attacked not but moments before my arrival. The culprits escaped." He looked at Houjin. "Their tracks led them towards Ignis, Sire." He looked back over at Syl. "However, it seems they have framed Aqua for the attack. Ventus does not believe that the people of Aqua would commit such a crime." He nodded his head towards the nearby window. The storm currently forming overhead is not a normal one. I have sent two of my allies to scout the area. They will be arriving soon with a report of the situation on your homeland. Forgive me if that may have overlapped any boundaries. My actions are based on the instinct to protect. In order to prevent, I must be knowledgeable and prepared."

Leonare Live by the code of honour... The wave crashed down close to the front gates of the castle as Leonare dropped to the floor soaked to the bone. Without a second to spare she grabbed Bavid by his collar roughly her gaze ablaze as she spoke in anger. "Are you out of your mind!!! You could have killed me! And worse! Now the one that knows of us can report back to the leader!" Leonare let go of him to pace away furiously only to move back to him. "Water!! I'm a fire user! Why do you think I avoid being engulfed by water??? If my inner flame dies then so do I!" She was so angry her body shivering as water still dripped from her hair. She was unable to gather flames until she recovered feeling fundable without the comfort of her abilities. Closing her eyes she forced herself to calm down when her gaze moved to the approaching guards. The scene before them must have looked like a fire user trying to assault one of their own. Leonare stepped away her hands instinctively moving to her daggers. "Great..." ...Sentence by the sword

Bavid Montoya Bavid stepped down from the wave and then was suddenly grabbed in a total shock. "Oh my lord I thought I tossed you out on the street out of the fray, I sincerely did not mean to drag you along all this way" He said as she yelled at him again. He did not reply that time but he did try to pull some of the droplets off of her, he was not a professional though and more water came from everywhere else than off of her leaving a thin layer on her skin and what was on her cloths that was not dripping either. "We should get in and find a better mage than me, especially since we are far outmatched and I just caught you in a surf spell" He said as he called up for the gate to be cracked so that they could enter and shut quickly.

Leonare Live by the code of honour... Leonare looked at Bavid nodding as she sheeted her blade however her hand not leaving the hilt. She followed close behind Bavid when she spoke. "My aim was only to eliminate the closest target. I was not going to fight an army." Leonare said as they walked but left it at that. ...Sentence by the sword

After hearing the words of D'Artagnan, Houjin was more concerned than ever about Ignis. He hoped Otto would made on time but it seems the task would be impossible given the time frame. He would need to return soon but he can not leave Aqua just yet event after the storm's passing. his purpose here is now more imperative than ever but... "It is indeed a strange and awkward way for a Ventos like you to just butt in here during a storm, claiming otherwise what appears to be the doings easily capable only by your own people. You're either incredibly foolish or incredibly brave." Houjin said in a rather skeptical and auspicious tone. The fire king approached the young Dart however, and strongly patted on him by the shoulders with a gleaming smile. "I like your style!" said one who did a familiar approach to the Aquan king but moments ago. "My fellow highness," he then addressed back towards Syl after listening to Dart, "it appears my personal request will have to wait, more urgent matters are at hand and I personally find it simply more common sense to work together than worry about political matters for now, or this storm will consume us all." It had been awhile since Houjin was thrown into the pit and frey of a crisis. However being war consummate, it felt more like being able to relive his childhood youth than a distressing urgency, fear and panic were the far from his mind, only this time he was doing something far more noble---he was defending a nation other than his own. Houjin heard the clash of waves of what appeared to be at the gates. Guards motioned to investigate but something else was drawing Houjin to the scene, something...someone familiar. "Could it be?" he thought. "Pardon us," Houjin said, he had also expected Dart to follow through since he did mentioned two scouts awhile ago. And it was a good thing he did came. The guards were closing in but he could already overhear a lady's voice. TigerTrouble "Water!! I'm a fire user! Why do you think I avoid being engulfed by water??? If my inner flame dies then so do I!" Ah yes, he chuckled to himself. He could not mistake the temperament of his own people and they would be the only ones complaining that much when doused wet. When he finally arrived to the scene with the guards, he raised his hand in a calm manner. "Stand down, there's no need to worry." Though the guards assumed Houjin was reassuring them, he was actually referring more to the fire lady. With a kindred smile, he did not hesitate to raise her temperature of her inner flame to quickly dry her off. It should be obvious to her, there was only one such person who could even manipulate the flames of others like the wind to a candle light. "I hope that better calms your nerves now young lady...though pardon if the drying makes your clothes shrink a bit." He chuckled. "You must be Dart's companions I hope."

Leonare Live by the code of honour... Leonare was still furious even after she calmed down somewhat when she heard a man approach. She turned to face him with a glare still not having lost her hostility after being rendered wet. It was when her crimson eyes made contact with Houjin that they widened and she froze in place. She felt her fire return to her core lighting up her whole body. Even the tips of her golden hair seemed to dance with delight at the return of heat waves that came from her skin and caressed her body. Realization washed over her. It had been years since she saw another of her homeland but never has she been in the presence of the King. Her mentor only spoke tails of the King when she was a child but she would never have thought of actually seeing him. Leonare dropped to one knee before the King bowing her head in respect. After a moment she rose her actions and words unsure. "Thank you.... My Lord. I am Leonare Helstrum, I serve Lord Arthos and Lord Dart of Ventus." Leonare announced before her gaze travelled to Bavid not sure if he would introduce himself. ...Sentence by the sword
