Bavid Montoya

Suddenly there was an anchor falling from the sky rather slowly as it dragged the ground in front of the castle. Guards or other people working there would have probably have thought it was a Ventus person coming down the rope. He had hooked the anchor to a tree and pulled on the rope as the ship came down as fast as he pulled. The engines had been offline for quite some time as his drums were full of the charged water and Bavid wanted to sell it. "Greetings, can anyone around here get me an audience with the king? I was wanting to show a product that I am working on." He said as he climbed on and off of his boat, tying it down so that it wouldnt go flying with a simple wind. The horse seals on the sides of his ship and the clear design for it to be in water even though it was in the air suggested greatly that he was from Aqua even though he did not immediately use his powers to show it in any condition.

Bavid was glad to see the king, He was mostly just dealing trade before but now Bavid had completed his steam system and was ready to present it for the first time. "I brought something that could be one of the best trade goods I have ever brought forth... It has many uses though marketing it and making the uses is a little bit of a task at the moment..." He said as he was busy setting up the display. Once he was ready, Bavid had put a rather sizable granite rock up on top of a rather massive barrel. Bavid nearly threw his back out just moving the rock as it was bigger than he expected. "I should have used something to put that up there... ok, here is the demonstration, if you would please put up a water barrier to roll the rock down." He said as he attached a handle to the valve and stepped back. "As you can see, this barrel is wrapped up and cold to the touch, no exterior force to apply to the rock except for what is in the barrel" He said, getting ready for the barrier to be cast so the rock could go straight up without risk of it landing on them.



((dont worry about it lol, I can work with what I am given, plus, I was feeling slightly lazy at the moment anyways lol))

"Alright, watch the sky" He said as he barely even gave a push to the valve but there was a crack of thunder and steam as the rock went flying, bounced against the castle wall and fell only inches from his ship. "AHHIIEEEEE!!!!!!" He suddenly screamed like his life was about to end as the rock nearly smashed into the ground only inches from something he had spent ages trying to make from scratch. "Ahem.... okay then... oh question, your steward seemed to have something important?" He said, trying to get everyone off the subject of him screaming the way he did. Bavid was greatly over thinking things in his momentary panic as he thought something to talk about which was a slight curiosity before he threw the switch as to why he was asked to go back inside twice.

I meant that the rock was already ontop of the steamdrum and the barrier was to keep it from falling on them when it went up, sorry if I was confusing or anything sweatdrop ))

"But ya, as you can see, extremely powerful, I am having a bit of trouble finding a safe way to refill it as I can only make one barrel per storm, but it can be useful" He said as the attendant went to shouting at him. "hey... it doesnt even look like it scraped the side of the castle, I did not even realize how much power this thing was... This is my first time testing it.." He said, not wanting to get into a major debate of how much of his stockpile of currency and stocks he had to sell to make a ship that could be flown through a thunder storm and survive. He went silent as the king spoke to his attendant of his parents. Bavid's family was still alive but none of them stayed close enough to even care about another member's existence. Bavid was taking the handle off of the drum so that it would not release the pressure again as the barrel was still quite dangerous. "So, do you know of anyone who might could put this much energy to use without hurting themselves? Or perhaps someone who could help me work off my expenses in my recent in devours? I am now short a bit of cash" He said as he stood there trying not to think about parents and such but then thought of something close that popped into his head. "by the way, I heard you had a sister? I did not meet her the last time I was here but she is probably quite up in age since then" He said as he wanted to pay his respects and even gave a bow with his question. The amount of time between expeditions would sometimes be in years even though he could fly as fast as most boats could sail. Often times he would be going from one place to the next and back again so he had not heard any news for ages since his last time being in Aqua.

((Oh no! You're fine! I just haven't had the time to reply, I'm trying to pass a few classes so I can graduate on time. I'll reply some time today! Promise!))

Syl laughed as his counter part stuck up his nosed rudely, walking off to take care of other business. "I'm sure you can find someone down at the piers, most boat workers look for room and board as payment and I'm sure your boat could handle a handy man or two. I'll gladly fund you a bit, I'd get a lecture like no other if I give you too much." He smiled nervously. What he hadn't expected was the mention of his sister, the vision of the night she disappears a bitter memory. He frown as he looked, eventually bidding him not a perverted old man, he spoke again. "She is....on a mission for me at the moment, I'm sorry you've missed her once again." His frown hadn't shifted, a bit monotoned as he spoke. "I have to get back to a few things so if you'd excuse me..."

Syl nodded, chuckling as the boat in a storm was explained. "A well trained water user should be able to navigate through and away from any storms. It comes with the abilities at birth." He chuckled. "Though....I haven't been on a boat in many years." He smiled and waved as Bavid began to head out. "Do tell them I sent you, I'll pay for a few helpers, mind you." He love the travelers that came and went through his domain, always such cheery folk. Though a nasty pirate came through once or twice, thinking they were smart for the young King. He sighed, his mind returning to his missing family. Was his sibling alive or dead? Eating or left to starve? He didn't wonder about these often, she wouldn't have wanted that. He sighed, walking back into the castle he was introduced with more paperwork. He quickly signed what he could, soon the sun started its down ward travel. He stood up from his chair, crossing his arms as he stair out the window. 'Your highness, there's one left....' his attendant spoke, finally knocking the male's thoughts. he removed his blue robe and handed it to the man. "Hold onto this for a while." And on those words, he walked to the window and jumped into the wide ocean blue.
