The land of Pepperland has never been stable. To a recent political revolution in which the hedonistic and cruel Kings of Old had been replaced with relatively incompetent local rulers to the near-constant state of war with the elves (always those damn elves, causing trouble), it's pretty much sucked.

But now the Apocalypse is coming. In the form of a huge, fearsome monster... named Apocalypse. His origins are unknown, his purpose (other than to destroy every living thing) is also unknown, but one thing is known- s**t. He's gonna have to ******** die.

The Council to Stop the Damn Apocalypse from Coming (also known as, due to their small numbers and lack of support, the Lonely Hearts Society) has come together to try to stop the damn apocalypse. Composed of scientists, soldiers, badasses, and some housewives and strippers, can they finish the job? Or will the naysayers kill them all?

You don't have to want to help them. You just have to want to play the game.
