Dear student,

We are pleased to inform you that you have been accepted to attend Little Hogwarts, School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. This is a school where talented young witches and wizards alike come to enhance their skills and meet youngsters just like them while enjoying the liberty of being away from home and staying in an enchanted castle. Various classes are offered that will train and prepare you for the best wizarding education around.
Attached is a parchment which specifies the spellbooks and materials you will need for your upcoming year as a student. We ask that you find these items and purchase them at Diagon Alley before boarding the train to school.
Lastly, please be at Platform 9 and 3/4 before 11:00 AM on August 31. This will take you to the Hogwarts Express, which will in turn take you to Little Hogwarts, where all sorts of fun and excitement await. Do not be late; the Hogwarts Express is very punctual and will wait for no one.

So you want to join Little Hogwarts do you? Well, keep in mind that just because we are called "Little Hogwarts" doesn't mean that there is anything "little" about us; it's actually quite the contrary. Little Hogwarts is a literate guild, and we expect the best that you have to offer. For a full list of rules, you can look at our Rule Book.

Welcome to Little Hogwarts, I am your Headmistress LilyHermioneChapman, and I hope you enjoy your time here. I would like to start off by telling you a little about my school and my staff because I believe I have the best staff this entire magical world has to offer. While we have closed our main role play for reconstruction each Spring since I bought the guild in May 2007, we have still had a place to role play and chat with other members of Little Hogwarts. We have also always had at least a little posting going on through the entire 3 years we've been open, and I'm sure you will not find that going on in other places that you may look at. I have a wonderful staff that spreads from the Pacific Time Zone to the Central Time Zone, but we are used to working with people from all over. We even had one girl from China one year. Any of my staff will always be more than willing to help out with just about anything you need to the best of their ability, so don't feel shy about asking. I have a very strong friendship with my staff, which is why we work so well together. I think that is one thing that makes us so strong as we run this school, as well as the fact that we are all dedicated to it in such a way that we could never fully leave it. Yes one of us might disappear for awhile because life happens, but we always find our way back. You will find that the only option for you here is a student because we leave all teaching positions to our staff to help eliminate problems, so we thank you for your cooperation and understanding.

Finally, I would like you to meet all of the Mods for Little Hogwarts. These are the people that deserve your utmost respect because they have walked through hell and high water for this school, and that is one reason they appear here today.

LilyHermioneChapman is the Headmistress of Little Hogwarts and the main overseer of the guild. You will see her cute little avi running around the guild often, and she is always open to questions. She controls the Headmistress-in-training, Emily Wixom, who is the Head of Ravenclaw and oversees the Charms classroom. Lily also controls the Defense Professor, Daniel Blackburn, and students Laura Brechkovsky, Mary Austin, and Kathryn Yelsah.

Tantis Halcyon is our main RP choreographer. He's not around too much, but he's more than willing to help when he can.


D i R T i E de-TALES is the Head of Hufflepuff House and is therefore in charge making sure all our lovely Hufflepuffs are taken care of, but she is also what you would call our "Hall Monitor," so she will be enforcing all of our rules. In short, she is not someone you want to piss off. De-TALES also controls the Transfiguration Professors John and Angela Yelsah, as well as the Charms Professor Trainee Atticus Travis.

AthrunsKasemei is the Head of Ravenclaw House, so she makes sure that all the Ravenclaws are comfortable and well cared for. She is also our literacy police and will get after anyone that is not staying literate, and that includes our lovely captain, Lily. Kasemei also controls the Herbology Professor Katherine Benediere, the Astronomy Professor Hikari Yamamoto, and the Defense intern Nathaniel Ramiro.

There are other small things around the guild that all of the staff do together or just whoever gets to it first, such as changing the time period each Monday. Hermione is always around taking care of some random things, so if you see her doing something instead of the staff member listed above for that task, it's normal because she knows her staff has a lot to do and can always use a helping hand since they help her so much. Each staff member except Hermione and LittleGringotts support a certain house, and you can see which house they support by looking at what color their name appears in. Hermione doesn't support any specific house, even though she is Head of Gryffindor, because she is Headmistress and can't play favorites. LittleGringotts supoorts nobody in particular, so she will usually post in the color of whatever House won the last House Cup, or if it's the Monthly Prophet, she'll post in the color of the house with the leading house points.
