Appearance: The hottest thing to hit the planet since the meteor killed off the dinosaurs. ... or not. I stand at about five foot eight, weigh 130 pounds, roughly. I've got chin-length red hair, bright blue eyes, pale skin. For the winter months, I've been wearing my gun metal black long coat, black gloves, and... some sort of boots, I think. I don't know how to describe them. I have two scarves - one yellow, one salmon red - that I wear interchangeably, but the yellow one is often seen with Haruki, now a days.

Personality: I'm kinda cocky, I guess you could say. People don't really give me a chance, sometimes. I like to flirt, but that's mostly to guage how the person reacts to things. I'm actually kind of shy of new encounters with new people. I like to think I'm intelligent, but I often play dumb. I'm a big kid at heart.

Adrian Vincent Karlet gently pushed open the door to the store. He'd been by the place several times within the last week, but hadn't quite worked up the courage to go inside. Dispite his happy, flirtatious nature, he was quite nervous of new situations and people he didn't know. He lifted his free hand to his face, brushing a few stray strands of red hair out of his eyes.

Inside the store he saw several people standing around, cooing over little winged creatures. He knew them to be tsubasa; Kantha had given him a pamphlet and application for one a week ago. He'd filled out and submitted the application, but hadn't received any of the eggs that were available. Kanth had won, however, so Adrian was content with that.

He went off to the side of the room, pretending to browse at the other pamphlets there, stealing glances at the tsubasa out of the corner of his eye. He wasn't quite ready to introduce himself, yet.

"Easy now..." Vita muttered idly, tightening his arms around the basket as he pushed the door with his back. He strolled inside and approached the nearest table, placing the basket down gently. Smiling, the man reached out for the maroon blanket that was covering the basket, revealing a set of Tsubasa Eggs.


Butter-fly, SEME

"Why, hello to you too," He chirped, patting the Eggs lovingly as they bounced. "Your Keepers will come soon, so stay in there, alright?" He uttered with a nod, later reached his hand out to the back of his pocket and took out a piece of folded paper. He tapped the piece on the table firmly, and examined it;


Giving the Eggs another pat, he grinned again. With that, he walked away...

Adrian suddenly awoke from his nap next to the counter, wondering how long he'd been there. He still had the pamphlet on tsubasas in his hand, and he felt groggy and sore. Wiping the sleep from his eyes, he muttered, "Knew I should've gotten more sleep..."

He looked around the room, sensing excitement from the people that were wandering around. His gaze finally rested on the nearby table where a large basket had recently been placed. The sight of wings drew him closer to it -- after his legs decided to start working again, that is. He glanced over the colorful eggs and then noticed the piece of paper that had been taped nearby. His name was at the top of the list, causing him to blink.

He took a closer look at the tsubasa in the basket, picking out the butter-flies from the others. He wasn't sure how he knew it, but the golden one... was his. He placed a hand over it and the sparkling wings fluttered at him. He smiled, picking it up from the basket with both hands. "Hello, little one," Adrian said softly. This earned him another flutter in response. Now, what should I call you...? he thought to himself, holding the egg closer to his chest. He read the note on the table again; it seemed that he could just take it home, even if the shopowner wasn't here. "'Please take good care of them. Love them dearly.' Heh, not a problem here," Adrian grinned, snuggling the egg.

Finally, he searched through his mind for a decent, appropriate name for his tsubasa. Think... think... oww, this hurts, he smirked. "Ha... ru... ki... Haruki?" The wings fluttered again. "Haruki it is, then." The red-head searched for a pen, finding one in his jacket pocket. Finding his name, Adrian wrote beside it:


He wasn't sure if that was exactly what he was supposed to do, but he figured it was better than nothing. He capped the pen and placed it back in his pocket. Not wanting to be in the way, he headed for the door, intent upon going home and showing Kanth his new treasure. Seeing that it was still winter (the seasons hadn't changed since his nap), Adrian removed the scarf from around his neck and wrapped it around the egg to keep it warm. The yellow scarf looked lovely against the gold of the shell, he realized. With that done, he pushed the door open and headed home.
