Welcome to the Concoctables Out of the Hat Extravaganza!
There's no particular theme, no particular occasion, we essentially pulled these events- you guessed it- right out of a hat. Enjoy!

ANOUNCEMENT!

Unfortunatly, my parents have sprung a vacation on me... I will be gone from the 28th of this month to the 4th of August. All Concoctable orders will be completed upon my return... though, we are not currently taking orders.

I am extending the end dates of all auctions and events to the 5th.

You may continue to bid on any auctions/ place orders for raffle tickets in my absence...
simply PM all bids and ticket orders to me and I will take care of them as soon as I get back. This way I will not miss them as I might if they were posted in forum.

General Rules
01: All of Gaia's forum rules and regulations apply
02: No fighting, whineing, or complaining
03: No art theft

Auction Rules and Regulations
01: All bids must be posted on this thread and your intention to bid must be stated clearly.
02: Do not place bids with money you do not currently posess.
03: The most recent bid will be displayed under the appropriet post. I will do the best to keep this as current as possible, but if you are very interested in a certain auction, it won't hurt to watch the thread yourself.
04: No Items will be accepted as payment in any auctions
05: No "snipping" if a bid is posted less than 10 minutes before the auction is to be closed, the auction will be extended for another day.
06: If the winner of an auction does not complete the trade within 3 days, their win is forfeit and the prize will go to the next highest bidder.
07: All auctions in this event include a free Concoctable order. The Concoctable order form can be found in the shop thread and is the only acceptable means of collecting a prize.
09: Any additional information such as the end date, minimum bid increase, current bids, etc. can be found on the appropriet auction post.

Raffle Rules and Regulations
01: There is no limit to the number of raffle tickets one person may buy.
02: The price of a raffle ticket depends on the item being raffled. (See "Raffles" post for prices.)
03: All numbers will be placed in a hat and a single number will be randomly drawn. The owner with a ticket number identical to the one drawn will be the winner.
04: The winner will have 3 days to claim their prize and exchange all necessary information. If three days have passed without the winner claiming their prize a new number will be randomly drawn.
05: All raffles are completely independent of eachother. This means that if you have bought a number for one raffle and a matching number is drawn for a different raffle, you cannot win the prize.
06: All additional information pertaining to individual raffles can be found on the raffle post.

Which are to be used like ingrediants but one scroll from the group may only be chosen and it may only be used once.

1 Free Concoctable Order:

A value of 2,000 G, the Concoctable order is to be filled out according to shop rules and regulations (found on our main shop thread) and, must use the unique prize habitat and at least one of the prize ingrediants (though, any other ingrediant from the shop may also be used).

This is a RP intro contest for a customized, cosplayed concoctable. All contestants will send me a character intro starring the character they would like their new Concoctable to cosplay and the best entry will win a free Concoctable order which, in addition to the ingredients you have chosen, will be made to resemble your RPed character.

Prize: User Image

A free Concoctable order which will then be made to cosplay any character you choose!

Rules and Regulations:
01: Absolutely no plagerization. Copying another author's works and presenting them as your own is an offense punishable by law and will not be tolerated.
02: Entries are to be PMed to me
03: There are no length requirements. Your RP intro may be as long or as short as necessary to make a good, solid post.
04: No Entries will be considered if they have been sent after the final due date.
05: Cussing and foul language are acceptable, but only if done tastefully and if it is characteristic of the character being RPed.
06: The winner of the RP competition must send in an orderform (which can be found on the main shop thread) within 3 days of the announcement of their win or the prize will go to the second place winner.
07: The first and Second place winning RP character intros will be posted on this bored for everyone to admire. rofl

FAQ:
How will the entries be judged?
All entries will be judged soley on their content, writting style, grammer, and how well they tell the story. Length will not be considered. Of course, it may be difficult to write a good character intro in three sentences and a twenty paragraph post may become boring. I will do my best to remain fair and unbais and will also be consulting other judges (none of who will have entered the contest).

What if I win but want my new Concoctable to cosplay a different character than I used for the RP prompt?
This is completely acceptable. However, if you happen to change your mind, you must notify me in your orderform, otherwise you'll end up with a Concoctable cosplaying the character you RPed.

What if you are unfamiliar with the character I choose for the competition?
Simply send me a few reference pictures, and I'll do my best!

What if I want to use an origional character for this RP contest?
This is highly discouraged, but I cannot forbid it since the RP prompt is, essentially, a writting contest. However, RPing an origional character may hurt you a bit when it comes to judging. However, if you are confident that your writting ability will make up for this discrepency, then by all means...

I would like feedback on my writting, could you help me out?
Of course! Simply indicate at the top of your post that you would like some constructive feedback and I will PM you back with some comments and critizism (assumeing I can find any) ^_^.

So, how's this going to work?
-Bump this board like crazy
-Number your bumps
-No cheating. I will notice.
-Only bumps on this thread count!
-If the winner does not post their order within 3 days of the anouncement of their victory, the prize will go to the second place winner.
-Orderforms must be submitted according to the rules and regulations found on the main shop thread.

Whoever has the most bumps by the end date wins the grand prize...
