Folks, it took me awhile, but... after a lot of thought, I've decided that working on the Charity Forum LinkList really does take too much of my time. For the past few months, I have been AWOL, doing homework, getting involved in school, getting ready for college. Because like it or not, I will have to go to college someday, and I had better start getting ready for it now before all my chances disappear with time.

I thought I could handle Gaia at the same time, but I've gradually learned that my interest in Gaia has waned. All my friends, all the people who supported me in my endeavor - thank you so much. You'll never know how much it meant to have the backing of so many awesome Gaians.

I'm contacting a mod right now, and I'm going to ask them to just keep this up, delete all the extraneous pages. This will not, as before, be a complete list of all the charities in this forum - I fear even that task would be impossible, even if I did have the time. This forum has expanded so much!

Once in a while I'll come back to clean up this sticky a little... but I will no longer be on Gaia, due to the aforementioned reasons.

I'm sorry I couldn't continue doing the Charity Forum LinkList, but I think this is for the best. Life calls, people- maybe one day I'll come back, but for now this is farewell.

arrow Charity Name is quite obvious -- it's what your charity is called.

arrow Charity Began On... Month Day, Year (example: March 24, 2004). Include this so I know that it's older than two weeks old. If it is NOT older than two weeks, then it will go on my pending list until the day that I add later (2 weeks, or 14 days). Remember, you can still post if your charity isn't 2 weeks old - it just won't be listed officially until it is.

arrow Charity Founder/Owner is obvious too - who started the charity, or who owns it? There can be more than one person for this, so put two names if you have two founders/owners.

arrow Charity Type is a bit more complicated. It's a NEWBIE charity if you only help newbies out. It's a GENERAL charity if you just give gold to people who ask nicely, after they meet your basic requirements. It's a QUEST charity if you specialize in helping people with their quests, or you're a charity that is dedicated to getting a certain/type of item ONLY.

arrow If your Charity Type was a QUEST charity, then do you only help people questing for a certain item? If you are, then you are an Item-Quest Charity. If you only help out people on quests in general, then you are a General-Quest Charity. If you apply to more than one category, your charity will appear in both posts. 3nodding

arrow Charity Description is a short but informative few sentences that describes your charity. I don't want essays.

arrow Charity URL is basically the link to your thread. I want URLs, with the http://www.something.com and the works, not links.

exclaim None of these classifications or specifications are official - I just want to give visitors to this thread as much information as possible, so they can find what they're looking for. If you'r not sure about what your charity is, tell me so and I'll check it out for you, okay? ^_^ Thanks for your help!

UPDATES HERE

July 1: Heh. Well now. People don't seem to know how to read... so I'm getting this topic locked up until I'm ready to varnish it up all nice. I've copied all the coding for each post and will prepare via Notepad during July. It will come out within 2 weeks. All links will be checked, and lots of PMs will be sent out. If you are the owner of a charity, please make sure you respond to my PM, or you will NOT be on the new list and will have to go through procedure (which isn't all that difficult anyway). Sept 7:Finally caught up almost all the way now...all charities were checked and added as was saw fit. If you are not on the front page list and think you should be post your charity information in this thread and I will get to it ASAP.
